The Harbour Watercraft Tours & Adventure

You have to see the harbour by kayak. So wife and I signed up - was a bit of chop in the water but all good - went on sunset tour. Our guide was chill, went around George's island - also went all the way over to see the military ships but must have got too close as a military guy in fast ship came out and scared the popsicle out of us with his bullhorn. Sweet mother of Murphy we're just civilian tourists from Burlington, man! Anyways. Went back to finish out the tour - got out and didn't realize my whole derriere and legs/feet were soaked (should have asked for a kayak skirt). Went to outdoor wharf bar and warmed up by a fire pit - so much better. Great day, thanks Halifax.

2 hour sea kayaking is a great workout but NOT relaxing unless you kayak regularly. My arms were burning from the tour.

Took the speed boat tour with Harbour Watercraft and it was a great experience! We got to check out all of the interesting parts of the harbour up close that people rarely see. Thank you so much to the team.

Took our team of approximately 20 out on the harbour about a week ago.met Lydia and Jacob early in the morning and the two of them were enthusiastic and super helpful as our team prepared to hit the water.

We split up into the two amazing boats and spent a couple of hours checking Halifax out from the water, hitting the Bedford Basin first then heading out and around and down the Northwest Arm. What a great way to see the city! I was in Jacob's boat and he was so great, giving us a little information here and there and just an awesome host for our group. From all I've heard, Lydia was absolutely fantastic in the other boat, too. I can't imagine our team having a better time, honestly, these folks took such great care of us!

If you haven't yet booked a boat or sea-doo with this crew, you don't know what you are missing! Plenty of time left this summer to get out on the water, you won't be disappointed:)

Absolutely incredible way to experience the waterfront. The staff were awesome:). Our team went out on one of their boats and everyone had a great morning. It was the perfect activity to do with our team. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the best way to enjoy the Halifax waterfront!

We did the sunset tour and it was an amazing experience! Our tour guide (Bella) was super kind, patient, capable, and knowledgable. We went around George's Island and learned about its history, and then went towards the bridge to see a beautiful setting sun. Would totally do this again!

Amazing all around. We did the sea kayak sunset tour. It was the highlight of our trip. It was low-key, relaxed and very interesting. Our guide Kate (?) was awesome and had a lot of great info and local tips!

We rented seadoos for my best friends bachelor party and our experience was unbelievable. The staff were friendly and extremely nice. I would recommend anyone in the Halifax area to come see these guys.

Wonderful first experience for my 14 years old daughter she was so excited! All staffs are very friendly and patiently for everyone highly recommended! You have to try this fun Sea-Doo When you are in Halifax vacation! Definitely worth it and you won’t regret it! Breath-taking scenery 5

Had so much fun on our seadoo tour! Looped around George’s island and saw some seals in Bedford basin. Great value and if this wasn’t our last day of vacation we’d go again! The team was thorough in the safety onboarding and directions and made us feel confident even as first timers. Special shout out to Sadie for her help but the whole team was friendly and helpful. 10/10

Great place to go jet skiing. Location, location, location! Instructors were great and attentive. Timely, courteous, friendly. Parking was the only issue. So, plan ahead to be sure you’re there in time.

Husband and I rented a sea doo each for the hour and had a blast! The area you're allowed to ride is all the way from tip of Bedford basin to McNabbs island, lots of room to go as fast as you can. We both had a smile on our face for the rest of the day, highly recommend!

Great experience. Very well trained staff, they will assist you and give you the necessary advice for enjoying a great experience in the sea. We would recommend the kayak tour with Kate, she will made sure to explain you about Halifax Harbour's interesting facts and will made you feel safe on the water.

We took the sea kayak tour out to Georges Island today. Kate was an excellent tour guide, she shared some local history and made sure everyone was comfortable in the kayaks and on the water. The whole experience was great, I recommend it as a good way to spend time in beautiful Halifax!

My husband and I went on the 2hrs sunset kayak tour and it was simply MAGICAL! Kate was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She gave us backstories and answered all our questions! She was professional and fun! I also want to mention how easy it was to book online and how I thought the price was fair. I think Kate handled our group perfectly as she helped another kayak that wasn’t at ease with the activity and let us adventure a bit further but within sight. The whole team (on seadoos) was always near and such a fun group! Amazing experience and would 100% recommend on your trip to Halifax! Ps. I felt safe the entire time on the water as well as they take security very seriously!

On June 12, my sister and I went for the 3 hour kayak tour to George island. Austin, our tour guide, was friendly, courteous, informative and attentive to our needs. The entire staff at Harbour Watercraft was fantastic. Thank you for the great adventure.

I don't know how to swim but I wanted to try water activity so I went to them for the boat but since it was not available they had a watercraft over there, I really want to do try watercraft but I was afraid of drowning, The guide told me that even if you fall in water, this life jacket would keep you floating in water like for more than one hour. After listening to those words I tried. It was really enjoyful. I loved it. I feel like if you go to Halifax this is must to do activity. You will remember it.

Had an amazing experience with Sea doo.
The rides were smooth, and fast! All the crew members were kind and explained the whole thing before we got on! Especially Lydia was sweet, helping us in every way possible making our experience memorable!

Overall a decent experience, staff are super nice. Main thing we did not enjoy was the feeling of being watched the entire time.we have rented from other places and never had anyone follow us around.turned us off from the experience a little. We also got turned around and directed back to dock 13 mins early.for the high price of rental I expected the full 1 hour. Besides that it's definitely a good time, especially for people who have never been on a seadoo or tourist!

You come to waterfront, get your spot booked and try it, you won't regret it. I know only Osama's name but all 3 gentlemen were very professional and helpful, thank you guys. GREAT EXPERIENCE

Amazing experience! Hubby n son loved every second of it! Amy was amazing.she went through all the protocols and safety measures and made it fun for them from the second we got there! Truly an amazing experience to see the Halifax harbor upclose n personal! Thank you guys!

Awesome! Lake is clear, seadoos are new and awesome (goes to 70 and super responsive), staff are extremely nice and helpful (lydia took great care of us on the water and make us feel safe!) definitely recommended

So much fun! We did it last summer and returned for more this year. Sunset tour and just grabbing a jet ski and exploring the harbour and basin are both highly recommend.

The Halifax harbour makes for a great place to jetski - it's lively, you get some great waves and get to see some breathtaking sights. Highly recommend!

We always wanted to ride the Sea Doo and had a blast doing it. Would definitely recommend it for the Summer activities. Lydia did an amazing job looking after us throughout our ride and making sure we were doing okay.

Sophie was an encouraging and reassuring guide who made our first sea kayaking experience great. George's Island is a treasure! We will do this again.

If you’re looking to go jet skiing, kayaking or tours around the city; hands down this is the best and most enjoyable place to offer those services. Staff are very friendly and educated. (Alex was an amazing tour guide for the kayak adventure, I highly recommend him for kayak tours!)
There’s a variety of activities offered, all of which ensure a great and fun time, whether it’s with family or by yourself.

The only issue with the establishment is that it’s too fun, that I spent most of my time there doing all the activities during my stay in Halifax.

Definitely a must if you’re visiting Halifax, it’s by the harbour close to so many other amenities and fun things to do as well.

I had a blast and the most amazing time and I’d definitely do this a million times over!

Sophie was a great guide! Had a wonderful time kayaking at sunset. Was very relaxing out on the water and felt totally safe. Even saw a seal! Definitely recommend.

Went for the sunset kayak, was rather disappointing. We moved at such a slow pace as some of the group were struggling to maneuver or get the hang of it. I would definitely not say it was a hard or vigorous paddle, so don't sign up if you are looking for any type of workout. It took 30 minutes to even get out in the harbour when we were required to be there 30 mins early, I assume to get people set up and sorted, so this was on top of that, so that ate up a lot of time. We were supposed to travel as a group, but were very spread out as some were lagging so wasn't much of a guided tour. There was also a lot of traffic in the harbour as it was a busy Saturday night, we got soaked from the waist down (sitting in pools of water for half of the trip) caused from the wake of some of the boats speeding by. This really wrecked the rest of our evening and caused cancelled dinner plans - so definitely bring a change of clothes! Our tour guide was great, that is the only reason for 3 stars, otherwise it would have been lower. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth and wouldn't recommend.

11/10 would recommend! We had such a wonderful time exploring the city by seadoo! Amy, Sophie, Alex, and Brandon were so helpful and accommodating. They made the getting started process simple, efficient, and educational. If you’ve ever done this I can’t recommend enough. We will definitely be doing this again.

Top tier service, highly recommend. My husband and I rented a sea-do for an hour a couple of days ago. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They were fun but also took things seriously and focused on safety as well as a fun experience. Whilst getting onto the sea-do I stupidly dropped my phone into the water and headed out into the harbour on the sea-do really disappointed. One of the staff came out to see how our ride was going and took us around to a few key spots to check out, which was so nice. Then, upon our return to the dock, another staff member, Amy, had been in the water diving for my phone while we were gone. This was absolutely above and beyond anything we'd have expected and I couldn't appreciate it more. Shockingly, after about an hour being down on the sea floor she found it and it still works perfectly. This staff is amazing and the whole experience was wonderful. 10/10, a million starts, highly recommend checking them out if you're in Halifax!

Neil was our guide and he was professional and helpful; Amy also recived us with welcoming and cheerfully smile.me and kids enjoyed very much that trip and plan to repeat it soon!

As soon as u got close within 100 feets of an other seadoo i could on go at 10mph and capped at 50 witch complety ruined my experience

What a time! The staff Amy, Sophie and Alex were all great! Very attentitive, great with customers and quick on their feet to resolve problems. If you're looking for a fun hour this is definitely the place to go!

Rented some Seadoo's from these guys and it was a blast. Make sure Lydia comes with you when you go, she's the most rad chick ever. Will probs go back next weekend lol

Great place to jet ski. The staff were friendly and clear on the expectations.

My wife and I used the jet skis for 1 hour. The team gave us a great induction on the use of the jet ski, the map of the harbour, and any watchouts. If you are in Halifax for as short as a day (like us), highly recommend you to come here to jet ski.
