The Mountain View Restaurant

Must say not impressed. Cottage is ok, but not worth the $205.00. Internet is an absolute joke. Have options for 3 different internet connections. Tried 2 of them and lost connection after about a minute. Using the third one now and can’t even upload 2 pics and a 31 second video.
Went for a shower and literally lost water 3 times. Each time it came back, it was ice cold for a bit. Can’t even do a search in safari.
The third internet connection was lost, so had to sign in to one of the first ones again in order to finish this review. Wondering if connection will last long enough to finish.
Would definitely pack up and leave and demand my money back, but my wife and I are literally too tired to safely drive any further. Boils down to paying $205.00 just for a bed to sleep in.

Cute spot with a nice view but the service was slow and food subpar. Very few gluten free options. These included a Cajun chicken or Cajun shrimp dish only, which was comprised of plain rice, clear spicy red sauce, and the meat/fish (Cajun shrimp pictured minus the shrimp). There were no options for a dish that was both gluten free and vegetarian. My two friends both ordered the burger platters which were also underwhelming. We were grateful to have a warm meal from the only restaurant open in town, but would certainly explore other options in the future.

Food was bad. Service was fine. A review earlier nailed it by saying that if you have no other option, it is atleast food

We stopped for take out and asked for a gluten free meal for my son who has Celiac Disease only to open up the container with a bun sitting on top of the cajun chicken and rice. The other three meals we ordered were small pieces of fish, soggy buns and uncooked fries. We had stopped here years ago for a wonderful meal so thought we would stop again. Wish we hadn't.

Service was ok, food was terrible and very bad. Do yourself a favor, do not even think about eating here. Overprice for small servings, lobster roll no taste and soggy wet bread, cold fries, fish and chips 90% flour, soup isnt good either, over all not a good experience. There are lots of much better reataurants around the cabot trail. So bad, that i told all my friends and families not to eat there.

Went around the Cabot trail on my motorcycle with the father in-law and my brother. We all ordered the burger and fries for $12.95 and when it came it more like a $3.99 meal. We don’t recommend this place!
