This is a very difficult review to pen. Google only allows you to reward 5 stars and Liz is far deserving of more.
If I could have half the energy and love that she extends toward her guests, I would be lucky.
The rooms are beautiful. The location is a short walk to downtown Halifax. The breakfast is delicious (have the blood pudding if you can).
The attention to detail is incredible and she prides herself on offering the best service possible.
If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it - even if you're a local and just want two simple nights away. You won't regret it.

I don’t typically post reviews online, but I’ll make an exception for The Pebble.
This is the most charming place I’ve ever stayed. Before even walking through the doors, my travel companions and I were greeted by our host, Liz, with genuine warmth and excitement. Liz and David were outstanding hosts. They were kind, attentive, knowledgeable and, most importantly, always ready to share a laugh.
For two nights, I stayed in The Garret—which is the top floor of the bed and breakfast. The beds were comfy, and the sitting area in our massive room was the perfect to place relax after long days of exploring Halifax.
Now you can’t have a B&B without breakfast. The breakfasts I had at The Pebble were restaurant quality. Seriously. I’ll be dreaming of their poached peaches in yogurt for years to come.
As a whole, The Pebble is stylish and immaculate. But Liz and David are what make The Pebble extraordinary. Stay here if you can. For the views, the warmth and the awesome people you’ll meet.

Our stay at The Pebble was lovely.
Every aspect of our stay was characterized by intention, care, and excellence. Elizabeth is lovely - at every interaction she was helpful annd ensured we were listened to and felt valued.
We particularly enjoyed the jetted tub and spa-like nature of the en suite bathroom.
A heartwarming and relaxing getaway - hope to stay again.
