The Prince George Hotel Halifax

We had an excellent stay. The room was very clean and a nice view of citital hill. Pool was nice and clean as well. There food was delightful. Perfect in-between all of halifax. Parking below as well

Went to the lounge/bar for some food and drinks with some colleagues and Lovepreet did an excellent job serving and being attentive to our group. He was very professional, helpful and accommodating.
He helped make my experience a great one.

Service was excellent for a hotel of its age. I am certain fifty years ago this location was the place to be seen. Though, after four days across the street at Sutton Place, this was disappointing for our last-minute extension stay in the city.

Overall, I'd stay across the street at Sutton Place over here if they have the space.

Pillows are big and round and huge. I think if offering 4 pillows offer some flatter ones for back sleepers as well since it’s impossible to sleep on them as a back sleeper. Hallway and rooms showing it’s age - but not bad. Amazing location and we had a limited view harbour facing room so no street noise. HVAC and upstairs shower were clearly audible though.

Exceptional service, it's been a long time since we received such memorable and thoroughly impressive service. We have stayed in a number of hotels in Halifax and our stay and service thus far is leaps and bounds above their direct competition.

Great location right downtown. Lots to see and do. Rooms were spacious and bright. Very clean.

Nice, clean, up to date rooms. The hotel is in a great central location. The hotel bar and restaurant is worthwhile.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Halifax. The location is prime, the rooms are nice, but most of all, the staff are amazing. I’d highly recommend staying here as I don’t see how you can be disappointed.

Quiet large king bed suite. We arrived rather late and a loud party was going on - atypical, but as a result of recent forest fires, the partygoers venue was closed. Anyway, our room remained very quiet. HVAC was quiet and on target. Staff greeted us courteously, helpfully and promptly. On site parking is convenient, and the spaces are large, but the aisles are tight. Not familiar with Halifax, we suspect this downtown location is as good as it gets. We ate breakfasts and dinners out of the hotel because of timing and to see a wee slice of the rest of the town. We would definitely stay here again.

Was just meeting a friend there. The lobby is nice and has comfortable seating areas. Located in a very central area of downtown.

I like the pillows and the bacon at breakfast was great. They also have very pretty atmosphere

The staff are so accommodating, and the check-in was seamless. They had a great gift bag full of treats for my dog upon checking. On site parking. The food is great.

My girlfriend and I went for a weekend to view the amazing city of Halifax. We had a really nice girl named Emma who worked the front desk check us in and she gave us some fantastic suggestions for classic east coast fare. The room was clean and the beds were soo comfy! My only complaint is we found the breakfast area to be pretty expensive so we went down the road instead. Overall, the staff were super friendly, the parking garage was easy access from the street, and the hotel was at a perfect spot to tour the wonderful city.
Thanks again Emma for the suggestions on best places to visit and eat! We had such a great weekend.

Excellent hotel, the suites are very nice and great for an anniversary or special occasion. But you get what you pay for too.
Disappointed that at the price I'm paying for the room, the parking was extra.
Views can be good depending on the room. Ours looked at the Keg.

Probably my best hotel experience ce in Halifax. Very clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool. Great value for staying downtown.

We love shooting at the Prince George Hotel! As wedding photographers, we can 100% say this venue is awesome. The decor is beautiful, the food is excellent, the staff are extremely helpful, and the all-around experience for any of our couples that have booked this as their venue has been top-notch. We even shot a wedding here during hurricane Dorian and they were seriously prepared. Didn't even lose power, and we took advantage of all the pedways to get still get awesome portraits! We highly recommend The Prince George as a wedding venue - you won't be disappointed!
