Always a pleasant experience compared to any other branch of The Source, no matter how busy they are there'll be someone to help you immediately. I've bought a bunch of gifts from here and the employees are always transparent to let you know when you should wait before a purchase, and to recommend better priced alternatives that fit your needs. I've had a fantastic experience dealing with Shane, Will and Ahmed, I'm confident that they'll be to help with whatever you're buying.

We went xmas shopping for fitbits for family members. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman who's name escapes me. Dhar something if you recognize this, you were amazing. Just an average everyday person, we shared laughs, talked about where we were from, he said he's been dreaming of going to the Cape Breton. Bud, I hope you do! We talked so much we forgot to take off the security tags and beeped going to other stores. I think it was a sign to go back and talk to him again.
Keep doing what your doing. Excellent customer service. I hope I run into you again next time I'm up even if it's just to go to your store and say hi!

The men in this store Admin, Shane, &Will were very professional doing their job! I came in for an exchange for my bose head phones, when i was told they didn’t have bose phones & exchange for a different brand i was upset but Will made me feel much better when he got me more or less a better pair! They suck! The sales person named sold me some headphones and told me that if I got the warranty I could replace them in store at any source location no questions asked as long as i had the receipt. Well well well.that was not at all true. You have to send the headphones in and I can not as I am traveling for a long time (changing locations). Maybe I should have asked more questions as it seemed to good to me true but he assured me it was the case and I trusted him. I assume he just wanted the commission for the sale. B. S.don't go here.

Shane, Shane, Shane! What can’t I say about him! Shane helped me today with switching over to bell for home internet and phone. He provided exceptional customer service, and beyond. I have never left a store so bewildered and baffled by the shear quality of professionalism and genuine kindness shown to me today. Not once, but twice. In actuality it’s ever time I’m in there. But today was a WOAH! Thank you again Shane for everything you’ve done for me and my mother. It’s greatly appreciated and not unnoticed.

The best experience I've had with electronics purchase. One of the managers drove to another location to pick up a cellphone for me, where they didn't have the phone I wanted at their location. They helped me get an amazing deal on my phone plan and bought my old phone off me, leading me to get brand-new headphones at no cost to me. They helped me set it all up and make sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend. Such friendly people, super helpful. Awesome team. Thanks again guys

Bought a pair of Apple Air Pods from this store for a Christmas gift for my daughter in 2021. The sales person pitched me on the idea of the $40 extended warranty that even covered loss of item. Said I could lose them anywhere in Canada, walk into a Source store, give them my phone number and they'd be replaced. Great, sold! So, Air Pods go missing. No problem, I tell my daughter. First tried to use the warranty last fall of 2022 and the sales person at the time told me I had to wait a year for the policy to kick in. Weird, but ok. So, try again after Christmas. What a joke. First, the sales person tried to tell me the policy didn't cover loss. I told him that was why I bought it, since the sales person at the time in 2021 said it did. Also, why didn't the sales person in the fall of 2022 mention that? He just said I had to wait a year for the warranty to kick in. So, the guy phones his boss and comes back and asks me if I have any part of the Air Pods. I told him I just had the left ear piece. "Oh, well you need the Air Pod case, sorry. " So, three different stories in two trips to the store to try and make use of the $40 warranty they obviously sold me under false pretenses. Asked for a refund of the $40 since the sales person obviously lied to me when he pitched the warranty to me in 2021. Nope! They can't be sure if that's what he said at the time [basically calling me a liar] and the guy didn't have the authority to refund me. Anyways, I would strongly advise against buying any extended warranty unless you want to throw away $40.

Jacob at The Source, Mic Mac Mall provided awesome service. He went to a different store and obtained an external hard drive, and brought it back to Mic Mac for me. I didn’t have to travel to Halifax for it. Very pleased with the professional service. Thank you!

Do Not purchase "Turtle Beach" products or any other headsets there. Staff fail to properly disclose return policy meaning there is none for any reason. This left the daughter with an un-working headset right out of the box. "The Source" refused to help saying it was a manufacturer issue. By the time the set is shipped to company and returned it will be 50% more than it cost minimum. This Company "The Source" should not sell products that are not backed locally by a manufactures warranty (30 days) and I recommend you never buy "Turtle Beach" products because of their extremely poor customer support. Bottom line don't buy Turtle Beach products or shop at "The Source" if you want good customer support. If you do expect it will cost way more than it is worth.

Mohit, along with his coworkers were very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and made this shopping trip enjoyable. They made sure I was getting the best deal available to me. I walked in told them what I was looking for and for what age and everyone, including the customers, recommended the product I walked out with. Online pickup process is a nightmare, can't get a gift bought for my kid because of some policy even though I have the order and email support for me picking up the item. Shop elsewhere if you're looking online.

Come on, we all know what Aniruddh was hired for. Who can say no to those eyes? Except me, I said no. I said no cause I’m a baddie on a budget. BUT I ALMOST SAID YES to buying a $45 phone charger, A FORTY-FIVE DOLLAR iPHONE CHARGER? , and switching my phone plan over. 5 stars hunny, 5 star. Simply because of how swooned I was.

Rafin and Aniruddh both are really good. I am happy with my phone and the deal I got from them. I wanted a good smartphone and apple watch and they recommend me the best deal ever. I got home internet from here as well.

Gotta say Thank you to Aniruddh Khainchi and Keith Black for the great assistance back at Christmas. They offered me a in store credit to change my cell plan and internet plan. We went for it. We have a lower bill now and we all have 15GB of data.

I got my phone at The Source and had a wonderful experience with Keith. He was very helpful, and even had the phone that I wanted transferred from another store. I've sent others to him to get phones as well. I'd go back to him anytime and recommend him to anyone.

If your looking for a person that will take the time to make sure your happy with your service then go to Keith. I highly recommend this gentleman, he is efficient and really listens I purchased a phone from him and will continue to go to him for any help/service in the future.

Recently purchased keyboard for my computer and Keith was the most friendly and knowledgeable person knowing what I wanted as I didn’t want the clicking noise being picked up by my microphone! I will be returning for any other computer needs I have in the future.

Keith is one of the most obnoxious and annoying people I have ever had to encounter in a retail store. I'll be going to any other location other than this one in the future.

I went to the store prior to Christmas and ran into the salesman Keith. He tried to sell me on a phone, and although the offer sounded good I decided to pass. However, I ended up going back to Keith about a month later because he had made such a good sales pitch when I went the first time. He was extremely easy to work with and had a lot of knowledge. His custom service was fantastic and made me feel like I was being taken care of throughout the entire encounter.

I was just in to buy a DSLR camera didn't know anything about them, Keith was excellent walked me through the pro and cons about different cameras, and got the one I wanted, excellent service will be back.

I went in to ask a few questions about online shopping through there site. I happened to strike up a conversation about needing a new phone eventually. Keith Brown really went above and beyond, to ensure that I was comfortable enough with making this decision switching over to a new plan! He was so informative, patient, and was honest about the best plan for me and how to get the best deal. He even found me ways to save through my internet as well! The two other gentlemen in the store also were very helpful through the whole process and insured my phone was fully set up by the time I left.

Best customer service I have seen in a tech store, they also know their products very well and are quick to help. Extremely happy I chose them when purchasing a new set of wireless buds, as well as the quality of my purchase. Thumbs up.

I find the staff know the products in the store. They want the customer to have a positive experience. One of the staff remembered Terry and found the perfect head phone's for him.

Normally love the source but the mic Mac location is the worst for customer service and knowledge. Don’t waste your time hit another location if you can.

Buyers beware of beats by dr dre, i bought a pair of headphones from the source in mic mac mall and the jack for the headphones fell out into my phone.i took the headphones back to the store and the employees told me that beats are an apple product (would of never bought if i knew it was apple garbage) they told me to go to the apple store in halifax where the employees there didn't care about the 1 year warranty and tried to charge me $65 to have the headphones fixed.went all the way back to mic mac mall source and they told me again they couldn't issue an exchange or refund but gave me a $50 pair of headphones and no surprise the right headphone doesn't work.this is the only store that i ever bought a pair of headphones from that can't exchange or give you a refund on the product while still under warranty never got a warning from the employees or anything just one big headache steer clear of apple products and beats from the source and anywhere else

First off, I walked into the store and was not greeted. After trying to look for the product I needed, an associate offered to help. I knew the exact product I needed, which was shown that it was in inventory on the website, and he showed me everything that was not the product I requested. Assuming he was a new hire, the other associate/mod, was not offering to assist him, but was listening to music on his phone and counting the till. As about 15 minutes passed by, the associate has probably shown me about 10 products that did not meet my requirements, he finally decided to ask his mod, who was starting to close the store which it was not the closing time. I then told the mod what I wanted (which was a VGA to HDMI converter) and he did not understand what it was, and told me the store wouldn’t sell something like that, even though the website said they had it in inventory. I’m not sure why I decided to go to Dartmouth for this product and I really wish I went to Halifax. Also, I would not give this expierence a 1 star, but it would not allow me to choose 0 stars as this was a huge waste of time for everyone involved.

The source is a great place to go for tech stuff. Brought a canon printer several years ago and it is still working great. Sometimes you can get a good deal on the items on special.
