They have some good English style pub food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. It can get very busy, so book ahead or you may have to wait. There is 2hr parking on the street, close by.

Windsor has a 3 points corner with a selection of eating choices. The Spitfire is a traditional English pub atmosphere qith traditional eats and drinks. You can also enjoy some local valley wines, beers and ciders.
Staff and customers are all welcoming and friendly.

I used to make special trips from bedford as I really liked the ambiance and the food. However, I realize prices have gone up drastically but the whole “we kept the price of the addons out of the price to give you more options and keep the price lower” is a joke. I got the fish taco’s $13 which honestly had very little fish. Also got a side of fries $7 that were mostly scraps that were hard to dip. Sad to say, no more day trips to Windsor Kent ville or wolfville it is

The tables were too high for the chairs. Three of us really enjoyed our food. The fourth person got the club sandwich that was very small and didn't come with a side. That was disappointing and made the sandwich overpriced.

This place used to be amazing! But if you like a chain restaurant feeling, then you'll like this new iteration.

The service was very slow. I enjoyed my mushroom sandwich. My husband loved his blueberry bread pudding. A specialty of the house.

Awesome atmosphere inside and outside. Our server was super down to earth and attentive. I think the hostess may have been a new hire.constructive criticism - you are the first person patrons interact with when they arrive. A more positive disposition can go a long way. Otherwise, good experience!

The Spitfire is a popular place renowned for its friendly atmosphere, good beer, and blueberry bread pudding with rum and butter sauce. Yum! Service was friendly and competent, but we had to wait a long time for our food.

Sat on the patio on a hot sunny day. I had a reuben sandwich, my friends had the bangers & mash and the fish tacos with a side spinach salad. All the food was delicious and nothing was left on our plates. Our server was polite, informative and happy. I have nothing bad to say about the meal or the service! Check it out!

Great food, lovely atmosphere. The server was a bit slow responding and one of our meals was improperly prepared. They remade the meal in a reasonable amount of time, which was nice.

Service was amazing had a friendly waitress! Food was ok find it depends what chef is on duty!

Popped in on a whim for a Sunday Brunch and we were really glad we did. Western sandwich with homemade tomato soup as a side and a Big British Breakfast. Delicious food, prompt and friendly service. Our table was in the covered alleyway, bright and airy. Highly recommend.

We stopped in today for lunch. I had the fish and chips the fish was just OK but the fries were just a hob of limp cold frier grease. Terrible. My wife had the chicken Alfredo. It was like they ran out of Alfredo sauce and watered it down to stretch it out. We have been stopping by here for years but the last few times it has been not what it used to be. Too bad, but cost of lunch out you want good food simple or not.

Allison and her crew were kept busy with our group and would go downstairs for any orders they couldn't fulfill upstairs.

Stopped in for a late lunch during a bike ride. I have been here several times in the past and never had a bad meal or poor service. The Spitfire Arms is definitely worth a stop.

Thought the location was cool. Ok patio outfront but really liked the vibe inside and the eating area outback was superb! The server was friendly so no complaints there. They charge you for your main than an additional charge for your side of choice. I don't know why but I really don't like when places do that. I got the fish tacos with fries. The taco shell plus the ingredients in the taco were all good but the fish was basically just batter. Would not recommend it at all. My partner got the pulled pork burger and that was pretty good.

Fish and chips - fries were not cooked, fish was soggy.
Kids meal -Grilled cheese - its kraft singles cheese…. Oh, and the dessert is packaged ice cream sandwiches or Oreos. I get it's for kids, but you're a restaurant, make it in-house. I mean make some chocolate chip cookies and throw some ice cream on it. At least don’t serve it in the wrapper.
Nachos- they were burnt, but veggies were cold… so confusing.

The only thing good was the beer.
The waitress was very nice, I get it is not her fault! But the kitchen needs to get it together.

I am not one to complain or even leave reviews but I was so shocked with how bad every meal was I had to review.

Typical pub food. Nothing unusual however the food was good and service good too. You won't be disappointed but neither will you be surprised.

Let me say, the food was good. However, the hostess was very rude, and she told us to basically get out. There were 7 of us on a Sunday around 1730hrs. She told us it would be about 40 minutes. After waiting an extra 10 minutes we went back to the restaurant. Still had no seating available. Although there appeared to be six empty tables on the patio. We inquired about getting seated out there, but the hostess said there was no room. Finally, after about 1 1/2, we were seated. Then, no one came to our table for another 15 minutes. Then, when the order came out, we had to ask for cutlery.
Besides the hostess, all the other staff were very pleasant.
