I went yesterday for sunset and hiked all the trails.
Some really nice beaches. Some of the trails are obviously going to need a lot of tlc come spring when the park reopens as there are plenty of trees that fell down.
Be forewarned that with the gate closed you have to walk (or bike if you have the foresight to bring one) around 3 kilometres from the gate to the main park entrance at this time of year.

Beautiful location - Park was closed so hiked in an easy 3.5kms along the park road to Sandy Bay Beach with beautiful late Autumn colours - A must see!

Absolutely beautiful! Lots of beach and hiking trails! Also lots of bugs. Bring nets and repellent.

Great private lots. Clean bathrooms. Unfortunately hot water was not working at the comfort station dish washing station.

Great campsite with several beaches. The pitches are nice and big. The park is also close to the national park without its own campsite

Not crowded when we go. Not too accessible on day beach side. Shame. Great for able-bodied. Time to step up NS Government!

Great park. The sites were large, mostly flat and provided significant privacy. They were fairly far apart. The amenities were relatively clean and in working order.

A family nice and quite trail, 5 to 10 min walk, finish in a beautiful surrounded beach for swimming and play
