Train Station Bike & Bean

There were 10 of us, so it was a little crowded. It is many months since we were last there and there is a much improved menu.

Wonderful place. Food (BLT) was delicious, chocolate chai latte was excellent. Staff very friendly. Bike shop has a great selection.

Great spot right on the bike trail so you can't miss it. Lunch was great, nice to have a beer after a long ride in from Chain Lake.

When I was there constantly people coming and going.

If you're out biking the Chain Lake / BLT / St Margaret's trail this is a must stop.

Great place to stop in (or start your adventure from) along the trail. If you're coming for the first time on the trail, check your speed as you approach as there's a lot of foot/bike/paw traffic near the coffee shop.

Plenty of seating, bike racks, and room to stretch in the outside area trailside.

Cold brew was great; the Nanaimo Bar was a little small for the price, but was still tasty.

Decent enough food but hands down the most unfriendly and miserable looking employees I’ve ever seen in a restaurant in NS. Awful.

One of our favorite stops while biking on the St Margaret's Bay trail. There is always a spot to sit.

This is the perfect place to stop off the trail for coffee and a treat. We love all the vegan options and locally-sourced ciders.

A nice coffee shop and restaurant to drop by while you’re in the trail or going to the beach. Service is great and the food is homemade.

Ordered a gluten free bread sandwich (they said they couldn’t guarantee celiac friendly) however a few bites in I realized I didn’t get GF bread, not even an apology or anything … be warned they do not take intolerances seriously and were quite rude when I went to discuss with them. I spent the next 12 hours sick

Love their coffee and breakfast sandwiches. And in the summer it's a fun stopping point for cyclists and people using the rail trail.

Fantastic, local coffee shop. Easy access to rails to trails pathways. Lots of free, easy to access parking. Bike repair shop is located onsite, in former caboose rail car (hence the name). Offers coffee roasted in Nova Scotia and other local products. Busy at times.

Had a turkey club with a salad! Absolutely delicious! Exactly the light lunch I was looking for! The sauce was so good! Will definitely be ordering again!

We had breakfast at the B&B- space is small but cozy and the breakfast sandwich was excellent. The 'kitchen' if you can call it that is very small, and due to how busy they typically are service is slow (but worth the wait).

This is a cafe and a bike shop in an old train station, along what was railway that is now a bike trail; hip-havings with all the misty rural smallness and no musty mallness. Grab your advocadoe toasts on your way to a hike by the ocean!

Delicious light fare. Lots of picnic tables with umbrellas. I come here often. It's a great starting/stopping place for road and trail cyclists and hikers.
