Overall the domes are quite cheaply made and furnished. Scratches on the cheap Teflon pots and pans, the plastic cover on the side of the dome that faces the ocean was cut open and patched with duct tape, the dehumidifier rattled loudly all night and couldn’t be turned off. The red chairs outside are also plastic and on an angle so when I put a glass down it slid right off and broke. I cleaned it up and let them know and was charged $10. Don was also snarky and gave us the wrong key and info when we checked in. We were on our way to dome 4 when she ran out and said we are actually in another dome. Overall I like the idea but the experience could definitely be refined.

I wish we booked more nights! We planned our trip fairly last minute so there was only one night available during our travel dates. It has everything you need - full kitchen, washroom, bed, tv, hot tub! All you have to bring are groceries (if you plan on cooking) and your swim wear! We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2nights in one of the Nordic Spa rooms and the only regret I have is not booking earlier so we could stay longer.

The room was really special: the attention to detail, cleanliness, the killer view, sauna, jacuzzi, outdoor cold shower and fireplace.people are friendly and accommodating.the only downside was the use of bbq. For the price paid per night, I think it should be included.

This accommodation is highly recommended. I will stay again if given the chance.

My wife and I stayed in the Nordic Spa dome for one night and everything was fantastic! Dawn at the front desk was lovely and more than helpful with our questions about local amenities.

Stayed for 2 nights at the boreal dome #7. Was a beautiful place to spend two nights with a great ocean view. Very comfortable dome with quality bed and linens. Only things I would note is that everything recreational (with exception of hot tub), fire wood, bbq hose etc was extra cost. For the price and the fact that the fire pit is communal it seemed like that would be included. Great trip though!

My spouse and I stayed here with our two kids 8 and 6 for two nights in July and it was a great choice that I would not hesitate to recommend.

A unique and scenic experience in such a beautiful location paired with the modern amenities of a nice hotel with everything we needed to be comfortable. The robes were a nice touch and since it was very rainy when we were there we were so happy to have the hot tub.
I personally felt that the domes were private enough to feel like no one is encroaching on your space whatsoever! Due to the physical shape of the domes, the walls inside to separate kitchen from bathroom do not go all the way up so you’ll need to feel intimate enough with the people you are staying with. Also the bed is not in a separate room either so you’ll be cozy with one another but not in a cramped way. It’s pretty spacious and feels like you’re in a very cool giant tent.
There was AC, nice space heaters, plus a humidistat and fan so the dome didn’t get stuffy despite not having windows.
The amenities were very very clean (almost seemed brand new) and the pull out sofa bed is pre-made and ready to go.
Note that the location is very remote so you’ll want to be prepared and stop in the nearest town for your groceries! Another tip is to check your room for anything you may need as guest service is available in the afternoon and evening but not in the morning so when we woke up we discovered there was only decaf coffee. Luckily we had brought our own beans and there was a single serve blender we could use as a grinder. The little shop in the office has some basic foods and treats! We learned that the Rusty Anchor right next door offered off-sales if you wanted some beer or wine and didn’t want to take a trip into Cheticamp.
Bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to light as the dome does feel bright in the morning!
The lady working in the office is a gem.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The staff is wonderful and attentive. The domes are perfect. Clean and spacious. Views at sunset are awesome. Will stay here again if we come back to the area. If one is available just book it! Close to a great whale watch and the Rusty Anchor for dinner.

Loved everything about it. Wow, definatly an amazing experience. The only thing I will remember for next time is there is no oven. Hardly a complaint. Just an FYIfor meal planning when you come.we BBQed.

This is a really cool place to stay. The dome is much bigger than it looks. It's very clean and everything looks brand new. We ate outside watching the sunset then went in the hot tub. Was awesome.

We had a wonderful time. Loved the domes. What a great idea overlooking the Gulf of StLawrence. Simply beautiful hot tubs were great too highly recommend. Also great having the Rusty Anchor Restaurant within walking distance

5 stars because I can’t give more.

I was so excited to go to this destination. However, my mother suddenly had worsening of her stage 4 cancer and I gave the property 48hrs notice. Another member in the party was symptomatic with COVID. The owner refused to offer a reduced rate and is still charging me the full amount because I chose to stay home and care for my dying mother. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE!

Enjoyed my time here June 30-July 2nd.but our dome did get pretty warm. I'd suggest putting up some curtains to help keep it cool inside. Hottubs were fun, very peaceful and relaxing! Owners were pleasant to deal with and quick to respond by email. I'd recommend

Great experience. It's a must go but I recommend getting a dome closer to the water it's more private. And when we were there it had horrible wifi. Hopefully this has been fixed, still a five star maybe not having wifi is a good this when you have a view like that.

A unique experience spending a couple days in the Dome! Would do it again next week! Highly recommended

We came across this place accidentally on the trail and stopped to ask questions. Decided to stay a night and was blown away! The friendliness, the view, the accommodations itself (you literally just need to bring food to cook). It was a one in a lifetime stay. Super clean, modern and the view! Each dome has it's own hot tub and small bbq. Equipped with full kitchen which is fully stocked and huge washroom and shower area. Will make reservations next time we come out.

Tight quarters. If you are in the back row people can look into your whole dome. Great view, clean, very very well kept. Domes 3 and 4 would be the best to rent.

Had a wonderful stay, the dome was beautiful, everything you needed was there. The hot tub was amazing and enjoyed a fire at the firepit
