True North Event Services

True North Event Services provided an amazing experience for our December 2023 Holiday Party. They took the time to understand what our needs were and paired us with an exceptional DJ and a great 360 videographer. I was especially impressed with the DJ who engaged with our presenters for the formal part of the evening to see if they wanted music to accompany any part of their presentation and he was attentive to our colleagues' requests throughout the night as well. He was a lot of fun and engaged the whole evening. We would definitely recommend for future events as they bring an attention to detail that is very well appreciated.

We were beyond happy with the job DJ Magic Mike and everyone at True North DJ's did in providing the music for our wedding! Their platform made it easy to ensure the music for every part of the day was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Their staff were very professional and great to work with. We received so many compliments not just on our music selctions but how they were mixed together and the awesome light show.
If you're considering the cold spark machines - don't hesitate, they are awesome!

I can’t recommend True North DJs enough! The booking process was simple and it was so great to have access to an online portal where I could upload the details of our wedding, choose songs for the ceremony and reception as well as include songs on our must play and do not play list. I received reminder emails regarding payment and deadlines to have my information submitted to the portal which took away any of the stress and planning.

I have to shout out DJ Caesar. Hands down the best DJ out there! Caesar was so professional and so much fun. Everything ran on time, the songs for each moment of our special day were played without any hiccups and he can certainly read a room! He knew just what song to play at what time and picked up on pieces of our speeches that lead to some perfectly timed comments and introductions to songs. We would have partied until sunrise if it weren’t for the need to meet our timings for transportation back to the accommodations. All of our guests are still raving about how amazing he was, and we’re now trying to come up with an excuse to have another big family event so that we can hire him again. Thank you, Caesar!

Leading up to our big day, they were extremely easy to get in touch with and help plan our event. Our DJ did such an amazing job with the music and helped to curate the exact time of vibes we wanted throughout the evening! We loved True North so much that we decided to hire them again for a company work event and look forward to this next event with them.

True North was so easy to work with for our wedding Photo Booth, they always answered promptly! They set up the Photo Booth, did a great job engaging our guests, took it down and got the photos to us within a couple days! Everyone loved them at our wedding!

We called true North last minute and they happily took on the job. The DJ was fantastic, great music over dinner and worked easily with us while we presented awards. We rented the 360 video booth and that was a hit. We have used True North in the past and I'd never call anyone else. Top notch, professional service.

DJ Dru made our wedding dreams come true - from the ceremony to the dance floor! We had some special requests like a secret bridal entrance song, choregraphed flash mobs and a table dash and DJ Dru executed them all perfectly! His tunes kept the dance floor packed all night. We booked True North services for a non-profit function. The staff on site was great, and the Photo Booth was definitely a highlight for guests at the event. The booking process was easy and they were excellent at communicating leading up to the event. Would recommend!

We booked True North Events for our wedding and they were great to work with. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests and our DJ, Cesar was very responsive to the vibe of the dance floor.

UNREAL! Our wedding dance floor was PACKED. Showed up 90 minutes early to set up, nailed all of the cues, seamless ceremony.

Did we ask to go another hour on the dance floor at midnight? Yes, but Dave said “no problem at all” with a smile on his face. (We paid for that hour of course)

Highly recommend, best dancing we ever had at a wedding and luckily it was ours!

We rented a photo booth & 2 spark effects from True North. We had the spark effects go off during the end of our first dance, and it made it just that much more special. The photo booth was a massive hit with all of our guests! We got over 200 extra photos of everyone from it. The attendant with the photo booth was AWESOME - he gave people posing ideas every time & he even stayed a little later than was scheduled because people wanted "just one more photo". If you're on the fence about hiring these guys or any of their event enhancements, I'm telling you it is absolutely worth it!

Khalil was an absolutely fantastic DJ for our wedding he was so relaxed & made sure there was no opportunity for people NOT to want to dance. I danced the entire night as the bride. He was so cool & the uplighting is absolutely worth it to add, it elevated the venue. He was super available leading up to the wedding, their entire team is next level

Amazing DJ! We hired DJ Sneaky B (Ben) for our wedding reception and he kept us dancing the entire night. We had so many great reviews from guests during and after the wedding about the music and how they found it so hard to leave the dance floor because Ben played one awesome tune after the next. He even included some Greek music for my husband’s Greek family, which was a big hit. Not only was the music great, but Ben appeared to be enjoying himself and totally added to the great atmosphere throughout the evening.
I will also add that during the planning phase, True North DJs were responsive, and had an online portal that was easy to use. Excellent experience overall.
