To be honest, our past experience with Dealerships including Toyota Dealerships, were not always the best and my expectations coming into Truro Toyota were set low. In fact, after meeting Steve, he confidently advised me that if after our test drive we were interested in purchasing the RAV4 it would be very easy. We did not share his confidence based on our prior experiences. Well, we were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the way things turned out. Steve was right, not only was it a very easy process, it was also very pleasant, fair, respectful and positive through his, Tara and Helen’s awesome down to earth customer service approach. We walked out of the dealership as very satisfied customers looking forward to expanding our relationship to the Service department.

When I was at the bank to pick up the draft to purchase our car, I was asked by a senior employee at the Branch about my car buying experience. I was happy to share my great experience with her. Following the conversation, she was so impressed, that she told me, that like me, she would have no issue driving out to Truro to check out Truro Toyota for her upcoming purchase.

I had been searching for a 2023 Tacoma for months. I was checking with dealerships all over Nova Scotia. A 2023 Tacoma Trail Edition appeared on the Truro website and I asked my wife to contact the dealership about it. I really believed it would not be available. To our suprise it was!
My wife placed a deposit on the unit and that was it.
Matt was very easy to deal with. Our questions were responded to quickly and with detail.
We arranged to pick the truck up on our way back through NS on our way home from a trip. The dealership was flexible on time/date for the pickup.
When we arrived we were greeted by multiple members of the dealership. Matt, Helen, Rebecca, Tara.
All were very helpful and we were on our way quickly.
There was an issue with an accessory we purchased but Matt and Rebecca rectified that quickly and professionally.
We would highly recommend Truro Toyota.

I bought a new Rav4 XLE. I found one here that was what I was looking for in options and trim that was a canceled order. So instead of ordering my own and needing to wait 6 months+ to get it, I was able to get mine in about 2 months. The employees here were very easy to work with and personable. I'm glad to be driving my new car already. They even got me flowers when it was delivery/pick up day. Thanks for great service.

I don't typically write reviews but this is an instance where I feel I should.
I have always bought my cars in Halifax, which includes my last car, 2019 Camry. I thought they were fantastic and did not find any need to go anywhere else. Until, I started talking about it and Truro Toyota came up in conversation many times. So I gave them a call.
I am soooo happy I did. From the 1st call to Matt (Product Sales), to Rebecca (Business Manager) to Helen (Showroom).
These group of people treated my wife and I like royalty from the get go. Upon arrival to pick up my new 2023 Rav4 Trail, I was greeted like I was their only customer. Matt got things rolling, Helen went over the vehicle with me and programmed my phone and Rebecca did all the paperwork. It was seamless. It's like they were on my time, not the typical Halifax "I'm on their time" attitude.
I felt like I was hanging out with family members.
I could not be any happier with making the choice to call Truro Toyota. It was worth the drive in a rainstorm to get my new car from them.
