Ultra Tire

They offer very little for tires and rims and when they did not want the tires they said they had too many rims and offered nothing for them. I basically got pennies on the dollar.

Not wanna give even 1 star, lady is too rude. She doesn’t know anything about tires. First, she said they will change tires and when i told her i already have tires. She said tires are not good doesn’t fit the car. Those were the same tires, at last she don’t know how to speak with customer

I purchased 4 used tires from this place, including installation. By the time they attempted to install them 3 out of the 4 were no good. They tried several other same size tires (with much less tread than the ones I'd purchased) until I got 4 different tread tires that held air. They offered no discount for selling garbage tires. They then attempted to blame me for not giving enough notice of what I wanted, despite me coming in a day before and telling them what I wanted. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! THEY WILLL SELL YOU GARBAGE!

My wife just went there. Asked to see the tires before we paid for them. Was told over and over oh the tread is good don't worry. We'll if they are good why not just show us. There used tires not new so why would you not show us them. Kinda fishy just be careful

Good tires, reasonable prices. Great people. Recipe for success if you ask me.
Update - got amazing wi ter tires there today. Got them installed in under 15 minutes and was rolling in under 20.

Worst experience, went to the shop on Main Street they put 4 tires on and when we leave they completely forgot to tighten one of the tires bolts. Tire nearly fell off before we got 7 minutes down the road. WOULD NOT TRUST THEY’RE WORK. THEY DON’T GUARANTEE THERE WORK. Please STAY SAVE and FAR AWAY from this shop.

If you don't know anything about tires, never buy them second hand unless you have someone with you who knows how to pick out good tires!

Used to be cheap but not anymore. $60/tire for used tires on something w 17 inch rims? Plus install? Lol I'll wait for a Canadian tire sale since you can get a set for $300 new w warranty. When the elderly lady ran this place with $25-40 tires installed it was all right but I think the next generation is asking too much for used tires they get by the container load.

You get what you pay for - but buyer be VERY VERY aware. If you need tires to get 'by', swap one or two out, or squeak a pass for an MVI, then yes this is the place to go. Not recommended for doing all four tires in one go as you'll have to hunt down a couple pairs. Call them first for a quote, and if you like the price, come with cash in hand. They had 'new' tires (a couple that even had the coloured wear stripes on them) which one had a punctured sidewall, another in their inventory that had a nailhead covered in hot glue. Thankfully their tire installers caught the issue, but I had to go myself to chase down the owner to get another tire (which was more used) so the install could proceed. In the end the van does have tires that will work for the summer and it didn't shake @ 130 km/h so they must be balanced.
Improvements: They need to check their inventory, a lot of tires had obvious defects; have a plan worked out that if one goes bad upon mount the situation is made right without the customer doing the coordinating.

Only after 100 km on it the tire had bulge very bad tires Not recommended at all never buy again from this place, don’t waste your money as i did DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Bought winter tires the next day had a bubble in it replaced it right away. Just bought summer tires amazing service

Demands payment prior to doing the work, and insists of payments wtv paid them upfront which violates consumer protection laws had his wife chase and keep demanding payment. Paid it and they even over charged me because they had to use my lock key for the tires. Paid them the extra $20 after work was done left got on highway and vehicle started shaking badly (tires not balanced and air was very low) called them and told them what GMC told me and he said he cant do anything unless I bring it back and pay $60 to rebalance the tires. Stay away from these people best part the car before me left his tires behind and they resold his tires in a matter of 20 min for 300$

When I went to swap my tires they told me that we do only to those who purchased from ultra tire and they will not fix the flat tire which is not purchased from them. One of the worst service in Dartmouth plz be aware don't waste ur time.

Worse service no proper communication no proper equipments employees are not well knowledge about what they are doing worse part is that they won't replace tires if you have your own from last season never step in there and there garage doesn't have waiting area please look other place for your car fix dont waste your time here

Have gotten tires here many times and have never been disappointed. Quick friendly service and quality used tires. They have even let me go in and pick out my own tires. Great prices. Nice small family business. Definitely would recommend.

Used tire place but tires aren't in good condition. But you get what you pay for, and this place is the cheapest in town if you just need to put on some tires.

My husband went in to them today as we had a flat and our dummie tire was not in good shape, mr.lee told my husband he would have our original rim reshaped, then tried to sell him "factory stock" rims that were in worse shape then the one we already owned. Once his offer was turned down my husband left and said he would come back for our rim. A couple hours later we purchased a tired from dial a tire, and called to let them know we were on our way to pick up our rim. He told us the rim was no good, but if we want a rim he will order one, as long as we paid him first, so we pick up the rim Alex tells my husband that the rim is completely no good and would never go on the car or road again. For our own peace of mind we took it to Canadian tire, and low and behold, with nothing to fix or any issues with our rim, the new tire was put on and we left in about an hour, without prepayment, or the overcharges ultra tire wanted to charge. My opinion don't waste your time even trying this place.

I went ultra tires expecting to get so so used tires for the price, I left with a 4 great better tire, I paid a bit more, it was worth the price, the owner was very helpful and them put on with in an hour and bit. I plan on taking my other vehicle there in a couple of months to get them done. Thanks for everything. Will highly recommend for people to go there.

Bit of a sleazy place, did't really trust buying form them and the prices weren't actually that good

Got really good tires at a very affordable price, the staff however could do with a little improvement in service. Nothing particularly wrong, but no sense that customer service is a priority. I would keep coming here but would love to see some improvement in that area.

I like places like this. Small family run business, honest working people. Used tires and quick service. I'll be back

had to buy a whole new set and even couldn’t compensate highly recommend not doing business their specially with the young lady owner she scams people and wen she takes money doesn’t deliver product basically sells you stuff that looks good but when you instal it’s obviously bad and been tampered with

Called ahead of time and asked if they had the size I was looking for, they said yeah we have lots come on down, as soon as I arrived and told them the size I was looking for they immediately told me they didnt have them in stock and to come back in a day or two.wont be coming back for sure.

Revenue Canada needs to send in their men! These people are ripping the government as well as people. Not to forget jeopardizing the safety of all

I woke up to two slit tires, I came here and they totally took care of me. The gentleman that helped me was totally awesome and down to earth.he helped me find two really good used tires, they're actually better than the ones I got from Star Tire brand new but these were a lot cheaper AND they even installed them on my pink rims. The guys down around back are awesome too very friendly and very helpful. I recommend this place to anybody they nailed it from the customer service to the quality of the tires and the pricing cannot be beat. I will definitely be coming back here thankyou Ultra Tire.

Good price for used tires and one of the few places you can find one in a hurry. Picked them up in main bldg and them drive down hill to have them put on in under 1.5 hours. Would recommend.

Was looking for a place to sell used tires and skip the hassle of Kijiji, so I brought a full set of used (almost brand new) winter tires and they bought them immediately. It took a little bargaining, but I got a fair price (certainly not what I paid, but I was going to take a hit anyway). It was a quick exchange, no hassle.

Bought 4 used tires with good tread. When brought to OK tire for installation, 3 of 4 had cuts on inside of walls and were trash. You would only see the cuts upon very close inspection. He should never have been selling those tires.

Great prices and conditions to buy used tires. I haven't bought new wrapped tires in like 5 years.their used tires are really good, never let me down.don't judge a book by its cover.

Ms Lee is very disrepectfull to customers in person and on the phone.tires should be melted down and service is not the greatest.will never go back and will never send anyone there.
