We have been here a few times for Birthdays and such. The food is fantastic the staff/owners are amazing I love it every time. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Went to Upstreet on Nov 10th. As you walk in the smells are very inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect item. Excellent environment friendly service and delicious food. Can't wait to go back

We ordered the platter for 3-4 people. Everything was delicious especially the brisket. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The food came out fast and hot. Really enjoyed our visit. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, can't wait to visit again.

We went in 4 people and got the Butcher’s Block witch was enough. The food was very good but a little cold, could be hotter. Besides that I really recommended.

Staff here were outstanding…helpful and friendly. The food all had just enough spice to make it flavourful!

I could not BELIEVE the monstrosity that came on my plate! My friends and I received three small scabs of brisket and we paid $40? !? ! Unbelievable

As mentioned by others, food is great. Service is lacking. My wife's takeout order appeared to be ready siting next to her while waiting. She asked them 2 times if it was hers, they said no. Turns out it was. Then order was incorrect. Wow, just wow. 55 mins from order to food in hand. Very disappointing experience.seems to be the trend here at times. I would highly recommend Eastcoast smokehouse in Sackville. They seem to have their s#it together! Better BBQ in my opinion.

Called in and ordered take out, I ordered 1 full pulled pork, 1/2 pulled pork, fries, sweet potato fries and cornbread. Tipped 10$ just to get home and I didn’t get my regular fries, didn’t get the sauce for my sweet potato fries and there was no sauce on or with my pulled pork.
Definitely won’t be back

TDLR: Amazing food, service sucked. Tip after your meal.

So we decided to make the treck out to the outskirts of an industrial park to grab some meat from strangers. It was amazing meat, it was from a stranger, but I was extremely disappointed with the service.

As you enter the restaurant, you are ushered with signs to make a single file line to the cash, like cattle at a farm. Here, you order and pay before you sit down. Don't forget to tip with options starting at 18%!

After your bill is settled, you do get the choice of where to sit. Pro Tip: You may want to choose somewhere close to the cash so you can catch their attention.

After some time your drinks and then food will arrive by different "servers? ". Once these brief semi-human interactions are done, you can chow down in peace as you won't see a single soul after your food is delivered. The only interaction I had since receiving the food was when I walked to the counter to ask for a takeout container at the end of the meal.

The good thing about the service here is that once you're done eating, you just leave. Otherwise the food is amazing and I would come back, but will bring cash to Tip after the service.

This is my sixth time going to the place the beer is phenomenal #WhiteNoiseIPA, This is a great place in Burnside industrial park, 612 windmill Road, A big place with big beer, got to try the ribs, would be awesome for a staff event.

I had the ribs and the fries with coleslaw my buddy had the sweet potato fries cornbread always good.

This was by far the best meal we had in Nova Scotia. Large portions and every single thing on the platter was delicious. My husband and I split the BBQ platter and it was incredible and we both left stuffed.

The food was good but.their concept of service is an insult. So, as explained by the cashier/server, the food and drinks are ordered and paid for at the bar before you sit. This means that you ponder the menu while standing with your coat looking at everyone at their seats. The cashier stands there waiting for you to order which felt very rushed. This process, as explained by the cashier, is to prevent dine and dash which the servers would have to cover.
The best part is that the cashier/server was also the newest staff member, or seemed that way due to their limited menu knowledge so they would leave and ask a coworker some of the questions we were posing. No one came to assist them or us.
What is an ultra annoyance is that a tip is expected before the meal or service is provided. Even Subway provides service before asking for a tip or payment. Not Upstreet! They want your money while providing the least amount of service at $20-30+ a plate. That's bull$%^%.
When we were finally seated, no one came to see us unless they dropped drinks or the food. I actually got my food before my spouse or son, by quite a few minutes, but I couldn't eat because the f%^^$ robot server didn't bring the cutlery. For real, they have a robot, rather than improving the experience it amplifies everything wrong with this place.
When we finally got our food and cutlery it was good. During the meal, no one checked on us. No one explained the sauces at the table, no one comes to ask if we want another drink.
Nothing.
For the people the meal came to $100 +tip. When I paid I left a 20% tip. I wish i didn't. I don't blame the staff for the restaurant structure but i won't encourage it to continue.
Be better Upstreet! Provide a better experience that compliments the food and you will be a winner.

I had the brisket dinner with potato salad and corn bread.
My spouse had the salmon while my son had the Caesar salad with chicken.
It was all good.

This place is the real deal. Delicious food, and even better service. The Manager - Sandeep, is amazing. He provided a phenomenal experience for my group. I’ve eaten at a lot of food establishments and his customer service is second to none! Highly recommend.

Not a very great experience. Food took a little long. My friend Brisket sandwhich had half the bread completely missing, when we showed the waiter, he didnt seem care.
All of our fries were clumped together and cold.
Food flavour was okay. No one came to refill drinks or check on the food.
Half way through eating, a mouse crawled up my friends leg. Waiter just treated it as normal.

Unfortunately, our most recent visit here was a complete 180 from our first visit in 2019 when everything was fantastic. We went there on March 11th, 2023 and it seems the place has taken a severe downturn. You now place your order at the bar and seat yourself. They then bring your food to the table. This isn't the problem, although, no one ever returned to ask how our food was or to offer drink refills. The problem was the food was HORRIBLE! My husband has the brisket melt with fries and a side sausage. The "sausage" looked more like a ballpark hot dog and my husband said it tasted like it too. The french fries were drastically over seasoned with salt & pepper and oddly enough, there was no salt or pepper on the table. Not that you would need it I guess with the amount already on the food. I had the 2/3 rack ribs with fries and mac & cheese. Same issue with the fries that my husband had. The mac & cheese had so much pepper in it that it was literally inedible. The ribs were so overcooked that they were dried out and the ends were so hard I wasn't sure if it was meat or bone. It WAS meat, at one point. On top of all this, the place is FILTHY! The table top was sticky, the condiments (plastic bottles of ketchup and a couple different bbq sauces) were covered in sticky drips of the substances they held, the window sill and blind next to our table were covered in crusted on old food remnants and the floor under our table was littered with old bits of food. We will definitely NOT be back again and regret our decision to dine there that night. We're from out of town and so we cherish our chances to try all the great spots in the city when we're in town. This was a bad experience and a huge disappointment.

The food was delicious. The service was great. But the washrooms were one of the worst that I had ever seen during my 3 years of living in Canada. Please make them clean! We are going to visit you every week!

We dined here during burger week and also to celebrate a birthday. This was our first time here and we were all totally impressed. Not only with the food and atmosphere but the service was top knotch! It was very busy, the place was packed. Sometimes that can mean inattentive service or slow food however that was certainly not the case here. Food was prompt and delicious. All of the staff were attentive and friendly, and we want to give a special shout out to Sandeep. That guy knows how to give a great service experience! He went above and beyond to accommodate our group and make our evening enjoyable. He was even making sure that the people in line had a chance to try some complimentary lemonade while they waited. It's people like that who make you want to return to a restaurant again and again. Thanks so much for a great evening! We will be back.

I thought it would be a long wait, but they were quick and the food & drink was amazing. I even loved the robot that delivered the cutlery.

Used to be one of our favorites, but over the last six months the food has really gone down in quality.

Used to be a great spot to eat, not sure what happened. Ordered a $27 brisket meal, and what I was served I wouldn’t feed to a stray dog. For some reason it won’t let me add a picture, which is maybe for the best to save you the disgust. Zero smoke ring, 3 big slabs of fat. Nothing more. I’d be ashamed to call myself a smoke style restaurant serving that garbage. Don’t waste your money here.

Mac and cheese was subpar very different then before.
One meal that was ordered didn't include fries yet had a few burnt fries mingled in the vegetable medley.

Staff was very friendly.

The best barbecue in town served by the most amazing staff. The manager is a genuine gentleman who always make us feel home. We celebrated our son’s birthday party there last year and became frequent clients.

Huge thank you to Sandeep who made my families visit nothing but fantastic. Great service, great food, great people.

Had some hiccups in our order. I cannot express enough to people, if you have an issue speak up to give the establishment a chance to do better. Fantastic food and drinks! Haven’t had a bad meal here yet. Brought family from NB for a meal and they made us bring them back for a second ;)

I was really disappointed when my group and I tried to visit Upstreet BBQ Brewhouse on the 23rd. According to their posted hours, they were supposed to be open until 9pm, but when we arrived before 7: 30pm, their doors were locked and a staff member told us they were closed. This was not reflected on their social media channels or posted on the door, and there was no apparent reason for the early closure.

We had planned and traveled over an hour to visit this restaurant, and it was frustrating to be turned away without any explanation. I reached out to the restaurant to express my concerns and ask for clarification on their hours of operation, but I never received a reply.

Overall, I would not recommend Upstreet BBQ Brewhouse due to their poor communication and lack of reliability. It is important for businesses to clearly communicate their hours of operation to customers, and it was disappointing to have our plans disrupted in this way.

Really appreciate the great customer service and vegetarian options. Our kids love the onion rings! Highly recommend.

Not a huge fan of the Mac & cheese, corn bread or slaw

At first I was intrigued with the concept of paying & ordering before going to your table (1st mistake …. Giving a tip before you eat & deal with service) …… I ordered the chicken and upon taking my first bite it was obvious that the meat was “off” (definitely not fresh) I asked the opinion of four other people at our table and they felt the same way and suggested I not eat it Because no body comes by to check on the table I took it up to the counter in effort to explain the issue, it didn’t seem to concern them at all and offered to give more chicken (no thank you) they said I could still eat the sides …. I asked if I could perhaps try the ribs with it instead they complied with two ribs which they wanted to put on the paper that the chicken was on? I took the paper off and they put them on the bare metal platter? Because they had issues with processing my payment at the beginning of the night (the guy at the cash put the person ahead of me on my bill and didn’t know what to do so he suggested I pay at the end of the meal) …. To my surprise they charged me for a full rib meal (with two ribs to replace bad chicken) …… absolutely no regard for the issues I experienced from beginning to end

Worst customer service ever. The staff seems very rude. Poor service. Never recommend to anyone.
