USTA Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant

Really lovely food and service, at very good prices. The dining area was a little cold but it was snowing outside so that probably explains it. Very much recommended.

The food was amazing. The service was very good as was the atmosphere and the decor. This was our 1st visit but we will definitely be back.

We love it here, the ambience, the food is excellent and authentic, staff are very friendly! This was our 3rd visit, the 1st being New Year's Eve, the 2nd in early fall, and tonite. Our only disappointment is the temperature being so cold inside. We had to eat with our coats on, December 5th, the temp was 18 in the restaurant and we just couldn't stay warm. We'd love to go back but want to be comfortable and not rush through our meal.

We enjoyed every bite of their good sized portions of our appetizers, entrees and desert. The lamb shank was spectacular. Huge portion and fall off the bone lamb.
10/10 dining experience. Can’t wait to go back again.

Food is tasty. Service is a bit slow. Atmosphere is okay with lighting and not too loud. Will definitely go again.

Had a wonderful meal here after recently discovering the restaurant. We had the $65 dinner for two. Mixed meat and mixed chick. The lamb was wonderful as was the chicken. The baklava finished us off and the waitress had to carry us out with a pallet jack cause we were so full. Great spot, close to him, will go back.

We met friends here for dinner. They've been fans for a while and we are SO impressed with everything about this spot. A nice-sized menu with great choices but not so big as to be overwhelming. The lamb moussaka was perfect. (A veggie version is available) A side salad was included - crisp, fresh and delicious. Hubby had the special - lamb shanks - so tender. The server was pleasant, prompt and efficient. I love the accents in the room, and the tablecloths were really pretty, woven fabric in a variety of designs. Can't wait to go back.

Love the young gentleman server, he is so kind and helpful! USTA is always my go to food authentic Mediterranean food and the service is even better!

Was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, in particular Mossaco (not sure spelling is correct). Highly recommend you to go there and enjoy your day by very delicious Turkish food

I absolutely love everything about USTA! All the food is fresh and delicious! The staff are always very friendly and pay attention to my gluten-free needs. Lots on the Menu that is naturally gluten-free. I would highly recommend!

The food and ambience were ok but what I hated was that just behind the name of the Holy Prophet Muhammed, there were wine bottles being displayed. I found this very disrespectful being a Muslim and the fact that alcohol consumption is totally prohibited.

I Love Turkish / Mediterranean food so I was very pleased to learn about this place recently. It’s been here for 7 years or so, (I was told) and I feel like it’s kind of hidden from sight on the opposite side of Finbar’s. (Probably why I didn’t notice it.) Their food is delicious and they have a lunch menu so it’s my new go-to when I don’t bring a lunch to work. I highly recommend upgrading to the beet salad and if you see the lamb shank is on special, I’d suggest getting it.

Excellent! Wonderful staff and service. Foods are fresh and delicious. Calm, friendly atmosphere and a pleasant place to relax and enjoy tasty foods of the Eastern Mediterranean. I eat here often.

This place used to be a lot better a couple years algo, but the food quality has changed. Its not bad, but there Is definitely better. Its an okay option since there aren't many other Turkish restaurants at the moment.

Hands down one of my favorite places to eat. I'm tempted to drive to Dartmouth this weekend just to eat there and it's around a three hour drive!

Food was tasty and well presented. Had the lentil and mint soup and beet salad. Husband had lamb kabobs with rice. Service was great. Price was very reasonable.

Our return visit to Usta and this restaurant never disappoints. We ordered the
Dinner for 2 which was fantastic. Authentic Turkish food, fresh, well prepared.
The chefs in the Kitchen know how to create meals to remember with portions that are large
And delicious. Our food courses were served spaced out so that we could enjoy them. Staff are always Friendly and attentive. This restaurant gets 5 stars all around. A small restaurant with great service and food.

The food is absolutely delicious! Go for it. However the customer service is really poor. It's been twice that the waiters vacuum or sweep while we're still eating. I know that the restaurant normally closes at 9pm but in this case the owner should not then accept customers around 8.30pm knowing that they will go a little over time.we informed the owner of the inconvenience caused during the vacuuming during dinner, but this one was totally indifferent to our remark. In addition, the waitress wiped my plate with her sponge instead of replacing my plate, which is intolerable in terms of hygiene

Our water, Aiden was awesome. Food was delicious. Very small crowd so it was great for us. They didn't rush us and always made us feel welcomed.

Tried here impulsively last night (a rainy Saturday in January about 7pm). If you don't know the area of Dartmouth, it could be easy to miss because it's in the rear of a building that has Finbar's in front, and not visible from Portland St. Anyway, there is free parking in the rear, so you can walk right in, without having to deal with that. The place is cosy, with tables for two and four running along a narrow section by the front window, then makes an L turn with another narrow section of tables around the corner. Seating maybe for 30-40 I would guess total? Simple but nice decor, a few Mediterranean touches. Very friendly and attentive service! Great prices. My friend and I weren't hungry enough to get full meals, but he got an order of hummus (7.50 for a good sized serving), 1.50 for extra pita. I tried the Mixed Mezza plate ($14) that included your basic dips, a falafel, couple of grape leaf things that I can never remember the name. Lol Overall, all very tasty. Not a long wait at all. We definitely will be back.
