A place to go if you know what you are looking for! Prices are often the same price as local shop's! Buyers beware!

Have had my fair share of shopping here from time to time and came across some good decent stuff. What I would like to see though is a USB test station. They have for electronics a outlet setup for testing things like TV's, DVD players, printers, toasters, etc, that all require plugging into a wall outlet, but they don't have anything for USB products like computer keyboards, mouse, certain types of speakers that takes USB connection. If something was there to be able to test those kinds of things to see if like a light on the devices turns on it would help so much because then people aren't wasting money on what they believe is a good looking keyboard, mouse or speaker, travel all the way home to try it but find out it don't work, then get upset because no exchanges on electronics or even time to travel back and look for something new can get quite frustrating, especially if a customer doesn't live like directly in Sydney that they would be in close proximity to travel back and look for something new, because a lot of people travel from other places to go shop there since it is such a popular store. So it would be nice if the store could get like one of those outlet wall power bar strips that comes with minimum 2-3 USB ports built into the power bar strip. It would no doubt make a lot of people happy to be able to test out USB plug in products just like other customers that has the chance to test normal wall outlet plug in products.

The prices are beyond. I don't understand as people can buy brand new for same prices. Your suppose to support low income families I was completely flabbergasted by the prices.

The prices are absolutely and utterly ridiculous they should be ashamed of themselves just taking advantage of the price gouging that’s going on everywhere

When in 2018 the price in this shop is under 10 $
And now the product are above 50-60$
They are get everything by donating and why they looting from normal people

The thrift store and salvation army also selling donating things under 10 $

Why these people can't?

Prices have gotten tooooooo high. It is a thrift store but unfortunately they have convinced themselves that they are the equivalent of Macy's.

Prices have gotten so high here, that I tend to buy less here now. Decent selection most of the time. But just too expensive for what they sell.

I am a huge thrifter, and I love VV for many reasons. HOWEVER.the price increases for many items has been unreasonable. If I wanted to spend that much I would just buy new.

Staff work hard at this store but I find the prices outrageous for second hand clothes that are donated. I'll go to the salvation army and do a thrift store before I go here.

Always an adventure to shop at Value Village. Was looking for a brown purse to go with my new brown boots. No luck in that department but I did 4 tops for $25.00. The staff is always nice, the store is always clean and there is always a large assortment of items for sale. The prices are usually reasonable but some items are overpriced.

Lots of Christmas decorations to my surprise. Busy store was in for a sign they were all sold out. Sure to find just about anything here.

No one was following social distancing, arrows meant nothing to anyone. Barely anyone wearing masks. There was some decent stuff but we didn't stay long enough to fully shop.

Overpriced! Some of the merchandise costs more or is very close to the original price when it was new

This is a great place to stop by, see what they have in, maybe pick up a few things. Personally I like to look at the pictures and artwork, but there is so much more. Clothes, electronics, dishes, toys. Like the phrase goes, "one mans trash, is another mans treasure"

Had an experience I’ll never forget today. I Went to the cash thinking I was getting a decent deal on some name brand clothing, WRONG. The girl at the cash justified that “they’re” priced wrong, and takes the items and brings them back with double the original price! How can they make justification doing this when they have a worn out dollarama snow brush with a dollar store tag on it, and value village has it priced for $5? Last trip for us to value village TODAY.we always made a donation every week, and spend at least $200 a week between our family shopping. Your loss value village.

Getting expensive. I'm a 45rpm record collector and prices are the same as lps, now $1.99 each. Crazy.
08 March 2020 15:08
I like value village to find that special something you just can't get anymore or anywhere. Great used book selection if your a book person.
19 October 2019 3:40
It's outrageous that they charge almost full or sometimes more than full price for used items that they recieve as "donations". Almost no reasonably priced clothing in any section.
01 October 2019 2:17
Never anything worth buying here, Not really their fault because theyre a thrift shop but still not a place I visit often
19 September 2019 17:16
Worst store i went to.broken toys on shelf the store gets stuff for notting and jacks the price up.this store needs to be fixed sooner then later will be looking elsewhere for better deals

rude staff

I often get good deals at VV. The prices for clothes have gone up a lot recently. And, man, what is with the smell? VV stores all smell weird, and they all smell alike. What is that? Something they way the clothes with?
06 June 2019 13:58
I can walk around the place for an hour, just looking at stuff, cuz they got lots of stuff.they want too much for the second hand shoes tho.
09 February 2019 20:34
You can get good quality second hand stuff here. Also, you can come and donate your stuff here.
