This is a wonderful space to take your pet for veterinary care. They cared for two of my pets through end of life, which is the hardest time. Dr. Bev was my vet for years and years until she retired. Heart of gold woman. Dr. Gillett was incredibly kind and supportive with my girl Roxy when she collapsed. And now Dr. McNeil has supported my pets with both routine and emergency care. The staff is kind, the waiting room is homey and you can tell it’s like a family there.

I do not recommend this clinic for long term professional care of your pet. Dr. Gillott is very caring, knowledgable, and professional. However, you don't always get him.
My experience the last few weeks from the staff has been unprofessional, rude, and condescending. I called the clinic to speak to Dr. Gillott today as Dr. MacNeil encouraged me to seek a second opinion so that I am more comfortable, and to let her know if I would like them forward my records anywhere. Dr. MacNeil had asked me in an email what I would like to do, increase my cats insulin to 4 units or switch to another type. The emails from then on in went off the rails.
I called the clinic today asking if Dr. Gillott was in and if I could speak to him. I was told that Dr. Gilliot is not in until October, there is no private number where you can leave a message, and if you want to email him you have to send it to them and they will pass it along. So all communication to the owner, Dr. Gilliott, is vetted through his very rude and unprofessional staff. The receptionist was ramping up today when I was asking very basic questions. At one point she gets very annoyed with me, cuts me off and says, excuse me but are you client here at this clinic. I had only asked, "Hi there, is Dr. Gilliott in, oh ok, how can I get a hold of him, does he have an email". When she said I could send the email to them and they would make sure he gets it, I said I would like to speak to him directly if that was possible, and asked if he had voicemail.

My senior dog has been experiencing mobility issues and Dr. Gillott took the time to thoroughly assess my dog's condition and patiently explained the underlying issues, potential treatments and answered my long list of questions. My dogs mobility has significantly improved and his quality of life enhanced. Thank you!

Friendly knowledgeable vet techs who have been a great help in looking after my senior dog.

Excellent vet, not part of a chain which is hard to find. They care for your pet not up charges. The staff is amazing with both the pet and the people. Could not recommend this place higher!

Dr Gillott was great with handling, examination, and explanation of my cats surgery. The staff are exceptional. I highly recommend this independent Veteranary.

This is a wonderful caring vet. With affordable prices. Our pup is always excited to get in the see the doctor.

Newly transferred and loving the experience! The team is fantastic and my dogs arent all complaints and stress the whole time.

Excellent doctors: friendly, caring, efficient. No waiting room, but you’re rarely stood for long. Appointments run on time, and they keep spots open during the day ready for last-minute or emergency calls.
Only qualm is the storm door+front door can be tricky to manoeuvre with a dog leashed or in arms. And we’re sad all the jungle animals left and now the giraffe’s alone

Super friendly, helpful folks working here. Always eager to help and answer questions. Willing to work with different constraints and search for alternatives to make your and your pets’ lives easier

Id like to thank Dr MacNeil and the staff at vetwise for being so kind, thoughtful and gentle with myself and my kitty sofie. I had to say goodbye to my best friend on may 9/2023 it was a sad, and devastating day for me. We were treated with nothing but kindness and love. Thank you for helping my baby cross the rainbow bridge. Rip my baby.

They have always given top notch care to my 2 dogs. I wouldn't trust to take them anywhere else

I was able to get my dog in on a time crunch. My dog felt relaxed and the service pricing was reasonable

The team here helped us when in need 2 days after a huricane. Very caring staff with prices and service that made me want to tip generously for services. I can't say enough good things about the team here.
