Lovely park with no entry fee. You can get to the falls if you walk all the way to the end and avoid the stairs. The water looks pristine. Near the falls, you can actually go for a swim if you'd like. They just advise against diving or jumping.
Note that the stairs are a single beam of wood. These are very thin stairs. Take your time going up and down.

There are plenty of benches located throughout the park, so don't worry about needing to find a spot to catch your breath or to eat a snack.

Great place for a walk. We were visiting and appreciated having such nice trails to stretch our legs.

I went back to recall an earlier visit some 30 years ago, it's a great place to hike. I'll be back, hopefully soon.

Very beautiful place for hikers. It has 2 falls which are plenty of water if you visit after rain. We'll groomed trails and boardwalks, steps are well maintained.

Beautiful park with so many trails to choose from. I only wish that the signs before Jacob's Ladder made it clear of another path to the falls. Climbing all those stairs only to go down another shaky set was more than my fear of heights could handle.

Our walk through Vibert (I swear fairies live there) brought us to the dam. Not a very impressive dam. It was much smaller than what we were thinking and not worth the "mountain climb" for our knees. (We were grateful for the benches along the way.) What made that walk worth while was spotting a deer on our path. We also saw some flood damage along the path. Fallen trees and eroded paths painted a picture of devastation that happened just 2 weeks prior.

Still lovely; I'd go back and try locating that waterfall without Jacob's help.

Lovely park with waterfalls, hiking trails, a playground for kids, and lots of greenery. Short walk to the waterfalls that is mostly accessible, just near the end there are a few tree roots that make it a bit more challenging for pushing a stroller. Waterfalls are pretty nice, not the biggest in the world but fun to see. The kids playground has a lot of nice swings including an adult and child swing so you can swing together with your kiddo. Lots of parking here, bathrooms, and spots to picnic.

I'm writing this review with the phone I lost at the park. Diddent notice until I got home.called it the next day and a older fella picked up my phone and said he found it by the water fall.he held it for me until I was able to get it Wich was 2days later. Thanks Henery.the park itself was great.roughly 175 stairs from the bottom to the top of Jacobs ladder great little rest spot over the hill to. 4 star

We are from Halifax and don’t get as much time as we would like to explore this park, but the more we do, the more we love it. It is much more extensive than we thought, with trails that go on for miles. There are bike trails as well as walking trails, trails for dogs, beautiful streams and waterfalls running throughout. You could spend a week here and not explore everything. It is one of the most extensive parks in Nova Scotia. They have great washrooms, picnic tables and play areas for the kids.

Mesmerising view for Nature lovers. Enjoy the waterfall, a silent place to invest time in nature laps. You can do activities like tracking.
Due to covid 19 restrictions public washrooms and cafeteria are closed.
Few small swings for kids.

Lovely little playground for the little ones here. Public washrooms would have made a difference, but we are in a pandemic at the moment, so it's understandable.

Beautiful trail with an amazingly touching tribute to the victims of the Portapique tragedy. Very emotional walk in memory of those who lost their life

Absolutely beautiful! The stairs can be tricky for kids and dogs but plenty of options for trails without having to walk them. Lots of parking, lots of garbage cans throughout, dogs are on-leash, and several picnic tables and benches throughout. I can't believe I lived this long in NS and never knew this place existed. 10/10 would recommend!

A really nice park. I went multiple times over the weekend to walk my dogs and almost always took different trails. The trails are clean and beautiful. There are signs everywhere so you always know where to go.

Perfect place to spend the day or a few hours. The park is just beautiful, complete with waterfall and wishing well. If you have kids there is a playground for bigger and smaller children, splash area, picnic tables and a small canteen. There is even a small pool. There is Plenty of space to spread out. It is one of our favourite places. Something to keep in mind is some of the stairs are quite steep but there are some ramps.

Very nice trails, miles and miles of wilderness. Jacob's ladder is INTENSE! The waterfall was a bit anti climactic as it was more of a trickle when I was there but the park itself is beautiful!

Very very pretty hemlock conifer forest. Surprising assortment of trails. Worth while cardiovascular workout on the serpentine road path and a very good place to walk a dog. Seems to be a very well used park and in summer must be a wonderful place to visit as it has a pool, playing fields, a well accessorized playground for younger children and a pretty stream and water fall.

Victoria park is beautifully sketched with bridges, green hoods and trails which will trick your feet into a runner code!

Nice park with play area, pool, tennis, and walking/biking trails. The main parking lot is in needs of repair - large number of deep potholes.

What a beautiful park! With roughly 1000 acres of land, there's no shortage of hiking, walking, or sight seeing. Home to two waterfalls with pools at the bottom. Plenty of paved or gravelled trails to explore, loads of tree cover. There is a lookoff, and the main parking lot has a swimming pool, climbing area, and apparently a canteen (not sure hours)
