Walmart Supercentre

I am really disappointed with the staff attitude towards customers. Today I had a bad experience from one of the lady staff working near the checkout. I am so happy to verify my checkout. But she was so 'rude' and did not ask it in a polite way.i believe it s against the culture and not totally unacceptable. I hope who ever the concerned authorities has a review with staffs and don't happen it again. I personally don't prefer Walmart anymore

My husband and I went to buy new glasses at Walmart Optical. This is hands down the absolute best place to purchase glasses! Sarah is just amazing the best Optician you could ever get. Best optical store in all of Halifax and Dartmouth. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service making the customer feel like number one. Erinn was friendly also. 1000 % satisfaction. We each purchased 2 pairs of glasses and I would recommend this Optical store to anyone and everyone.

Very disappointed with their customer service support at Mumford. I was looking for an item in the International Food isles an was find hard to find a item. Since there was no walmart employee on that row, I went to adjacent row to find and Indian employee with a scanning machine and asked for help to find a item. He was very reluctant to help and asked me to go find the person who stocks it. I asked him where I can find. He said me to go and find. I went around couple of time but couldn’t find anyone else. I left store without purchasing anything. I am done with Walmart.

I guess I didn’t pay enough attention while shopping over the weekend because I ended up bringing home expired chocolate milk (5 days expired) and a case of YOPS (half of which were expired already. The others expired throughout this week).

I had to go through self checkout because the other lines were super long.

Update your hours properly. Drove out of my way because it says 11pm then you’re closed at 10.

Good location for groceries. How ever stocks runs out very fast I wish they fill it up soon. Also the grocery store closes at 10pm not 11.

They used to price match and now they don't. Walmart lost their competitive edge completely. 0 Stars for not being competitive.

I nearly forgot this location also does not follow the laws for scanning code of practice, and their manager is literally breaking the law by creating his own rules. NOT how it works.

I’d give a zero if I could. Spend roughly $1000.00 a month on groceries here for 2+ years, been doing grocery order through other locations years prior and almost every order I receive from bayer lake has rotten produce or they say items aren’t available but if I go into the store the items are there. I’ve had many dealing with Craig the store manager I’ve received many gift cards & refunds. I can’t understand why this store continues to allow rotten moldy produce be sold to customers. The assistant manager just claimed they do quality control through out the day & I just showed/called her & the two guys working in produce out on it in the store. Why is it so hard to hire employees that know what quality control is let alone finding item that are on a grocery order. Yes I could shop elsewhere but Walmart has the better buys on most items and if the employees actually did their jobs they wouldn’t have so many bad reviews about the same thing over and over. Just pure laziness & incompetence & managers not doing their jobs holding staff accountable! I’m sorry but it’s been 2 years and nothing improved Craig so maybe their needs to be a change in management ….

oh not to mention every time you call the store customer service doesn’t answer the phone. After finally getting through today after 3 calls and 10 minutes, I drove from sackville to bayers lake on hold walked in still on hold to the assistant manager and the customer service employees standing around talking. Held my phone out and say I’m still waiting for management to pick up…

I only shop at this Walmart occasionally because it is nearest to my home. If I have time, however, I will always choose to go to the Walmart in Bedford. That location is always better stocked, cleaner and has a parking area that is much easier to navigate.

The customer experience team is quite helpful.
Madhvi, she is a salesfloor customer experience associate, she helped me in getting "sher atta". She went above and beyond and made sure I get the grocery item which I was looking for even though the store was closing.
Quite impressed with the service which is not common in another Walmart store.

There is virtually no way to contact the manager for chain lake drive. I know there’s a lot of traffic in this store. However, every single thing I had on my list to pickup today was not an Available. Tried to buy hanes women’s underwear but there was nothing there. Empty racks. Womens pjs, very little and about 50% of the stock is incorrectly put on hangers with the wrong size label. Cosmetics-nothing left. Empty shelves. Almost no salsa choices. Not much in the meat dept left. Dogfood none left. Seemed like everything I tried to get was out of stock. It’s been like this at this location for a long time. I will start going to other chains as I’m so frustrating

Online grocery when you choose delivery is HORRIBLE. Tons of items "not available" because the Instacart driver is too lazy to find them. Somehow there are never substitutions either. Tonight our order never even arrived, not at all. Walmart chat tells me to call Walmart call center. Walmart call center tells me to Instacart (at a not-toll-free phone number in California). Walmart, either get a third party partner that can actually pick groceries can deliver them, or don't offer delivery.

If you want rotten kiwis and mandarins go to this Walmart!
Did throw 4 rotten kiwis and 5 mandarins in the bin once I was back home, unbelievable.
No idea what kind of inspector there is horsing around but must be blind as a chicken

The veggies here are in bad state. They don’t remove the rotten veggies but let them stay on the racks which makes it a horrible experience to scroll thru the veggies aisle

1) A mouse was running around under the pellets in the fresh food section; told 1 employee, who said "They're in all the supermarkets" & didn't care at all (told another employee who did), &

2) Paid for this item, took it home to cook, and basically paid for only half the box. Shrinkflation at its finest. Won't be buying this again!

I was looking for my stuff in many different stores but couldn't find it. I cam in to this Chain Lake location and employee name Gurdeep tried to help me but when she couldn't find it she called her co worker named Kevin and with his great knowledge of store he got me what I was looking for. Thank you so much to both of you for your help it made my day.

They removed healthy, raw sunflower seeds, and raised prices on the unhealthy roasted salted varieties!

Updating review to 1 star for not keeping the opening hours up to date! Closes at 10 and not 11! I don't appreciate wasting my time.

Never order anything besides groceries online from Walmart. I placed an order for a hard shell travel bag back in January. The delivery date came and went and it never arrived. It wasn't even shipped after investigation. Customer support was useless and refused to refund me. I will never purchase online from Walmart again.
