Wentworth Falls

Just a little walk about 5 minutes.overall a good spot if you want to stop there for a bit.

Absolutely beautiful waterfall. Follow the rough trail to the left of the falls and you'll reach the tunnel that was blasted to redirect the water

Very short walk from the highway. You have to park on the road shoulder. You can stop and park if you see the sign WENTWORTH VALLEY.

Stop on NS-4 where the big "Wentworth Valley" billboard is and take the well marked trail on the west side of NS-4

Great place for an easy hike to see a great falls (when there's lots of water). I would suggest bringing a chair to sit. No benches there if you want to relax and enjoy the falls.

These falls are beautiful and so easy to get to. There’s a cave up over the falls too, which is where my wife and I had our first kiss! Soo these falls definitely have a place in my heart. I highly recommend going in spring or fall, when the falls are full. Even when there isn’t much water, they are still impressive. It’s a super easy gentle walk to the falls, which is suitable for anyone.

You stop where is the sign Wentworth valley and cross the road is an entrance between trees. Verry beautiful place, swim, picnic, hike!

I love water falls and this one is just as beautiful as the next. Easy hike to get to and not far off the road. You can climb to the top, it is a steep climb though.

Bit tough for 2 year old twins to get down, but beautiful little spot! For young kids, just wish there was actual parking spot rather than side of body highway.

The waterfall was dry when we went, but still a beautiful and relaxing place for a walk. Will definitely visit again in mid October to see the colors and actual waterfall.

Great waterfall, easy walk in but definitely worth the trip over the top to the other side of the tracks!

Been here many times sharing the experience with first timers. Hike up the hill over the tracks and back through the cave, it's a fun experience. Careful though, the slope is pretty extreme. Proper footwear is key. The falls after a significant rain fall are spectacular!

Wentworth Falls is a must if you are traveling through Wentworth Valley. The falls can be reached by a quick and easy 3 minute walk. If you are fit enough and comfortable with the risks, it is worth it to visit the tunnel above the waterfall.

Always appreciate the natural beauty of the falls and surrounding area. Great spot to go hiking, and there's a tunnel going through the hillside about half to 3/4 of the way up. The tunnel is a great spot to cool off on a hot summers day.
Just don't bother to visit during the dead heat of summer during a dry spell with a fire ban on because there will be very little water Early spring and after heavy rains is the best time.

I love wentworth falls. I've been visiting these falls since I was a kid and I now take my own kids whenever we are traveling passed them. They are a short 5 minute walk from the road as long as you take the right path. Along the side of the road you will see a bunch of big rocks at the foot of the path you want to take. On the same side of the road there are big cement blocks as well at the start of a path, that path is a bit longer but it will still get you to the falls.

The falls are beautiful and if you have a hammock I reccomend taking it and setting it up for a bit to relax. At the top of the falls there is a cave. I do not recommend taking small kids up there to look. You cant really swim at the falls but you can dip your toes in and cool off.

Beautiful spot for a picnic. Not commercialized at all. You can hike up through the tunnel underneath the railway tracks. It gets quite dark in the middle and it has water running through it. Lots of fun to go through it though. Watch your footing as the floor can be uneven and slippery. It is not very difficult but I would not recommend very young children or not physically agile to attempt the hike through the tunnel.

This is a lovely spot for picnics. It's just off the road into the trees. A beautiful waterfall and a nice open forest. It was a beautiful evening. We had supper here around a fire. Just before dessert it started to rain but we bundled up and had fun until we had quick eaten. Then we walked through the tunnel. It is awesome fun but be very careful. I have heard of people seriously hurting themselves when they step on wet rocks. Afterwards we hiked over the train track since it had quit raining. Also at your own risk. As we gathered back at the fire at dusk we started singing some songs. I recall coming here ever since I can remember. Great memories of family picnics. It has hardly changed since those days. I hope you too will make memories youll never forget

For an experienced hiker it was a piece of cake. But the waterfall was beautiful, and was worth the visit.

Really beautiful. It is a super easy hike, takes about 5 minutes of walking to get to the lower falls, and there is an upper section which is cool for pictures, but is a little more of a hike upward.

It's a peaceful quiet natural setting. We came for a birthday party that we'll long remember. And don't forget to hike to the top of the falls and through the tunnel!

Beautiful spot, short walk from the road. Actually was looking forward to a nice walk so was disappointed it was so close.

Just a few hundred meters from the highway Wentworth Falls is one of the larger and most accessible falls in NS!

This place gets busy but an short easy hike almost everyone could manage. Get there after a good rain!

Awesome waterfall that comes out of a man made tunnel. I always stop here when driving by on the highway.
