Actually a great campsite with a beautiful view.friendly staff, the sanitary facilities need to be cleaned thoroughly. The shower and toilet are comfortably large. Had to let water run for a long time until it was at least lukewarm. I didn't have a picnic table and although there were a few unused ones on the site, there was probably none left for me. I asked about it, but unfortunately they forgot it or didn't take it seriously?

My best friend flew in from BC, so we tried to use the "Rent a Tent" option. The website states that all a person has to do is bring their clothing and food. Which we did only to discover there was no way to cook our food. While there was a propane stove provided, there was no propane, and even if we found a place to purchase propane, it would still be useless as there was no adapter to hook up the propane. The office was closed (we arrived at 5: 15pm) so we could not even purchase kindling/ firewood or inquire where one would find these items. So we had to leave the campsite and find a restaurant open we could eat at, while our groceries went to waste.
We returned when it was Dark tried to get a good sleep on the half inflated airmatress. In the morning, we rushed to get to the showers as we had to catch a ferry in time for a Whale watching trip. Sigh.someone had pooped in one of the showers.we wanted to tell someone, but the office was still closed. We managed to catch the first ferry to whale watching, but it was canceled, and we had an unexpected medical issue that needed intervention ASAP. We turned around and went back to the campsite and finally found an employee. We felt awful having to be the ones to let her know of the poop in the shower, as she was super understanding about our medical issue and assured us we would only be charged for the one night. Otherwise, it's a cute campground. Great potential. They just need to tweak the "rent a tent" option to inform campers to bring cooking fuel.don't know what to say about the poop; obviously, a camper who either didn't know or didn't care that there was a toilet one door down.

Wonderful campground! Second time here, and it is still as quiet, peacefull, and just a great spot for venturing. The people here are awesome, although they don't get to the phone, a message left always gets a reply. Plenty of bathrooms, showers and it is super clean!

Oh and of course the brilliant firepit mower lol

Tyler in the office is lovely. She was very helpful with advice about what to explore in the area. They have bathtubs!
