Whale Interpretive Centre

Great quick stopover. The information on whales was good to learn about. It is super cheap too. And the person who attended to us answered couple questions for us, she was super kind. Clean restrooms.

It's a fairly small but interesting museum with a gift shop. Some of the info is set up for kids but there's still plenty for adults to learn too.

Fantastic place! Lovely staff, very informative and genuinely passionate about the place. Also gave us some fantastic tips about driving the steep and windy roads in our camper. It's a not for profit store, so all funds or donations are well used. We were able to use the bathrooms indoors and fill up our water bottles there.

There's even a computer to use if you don't have data/WiFi. There's a little whale museum / exhibition indoors, and you're able to book whale watching tours if you like. Great stopover! We could even see whales in the ocean at the end of the road, there were so many!

A nice little museum. It's small, but that means it's quite hands-on: you actually get to touch whale and dolphin bones. The displays are modern and well written. There's a craft corner that the little one enjoyed, and there was a scavenger hunt that the older one completed and had fun with.
