Great view! Even it was windy 45KM/H, we enjoyed the views. It’s not difficult, a regular walking shoes is ok.

Spooky, moderate difficulty due to rocky terrain. The path was mowed making it easier. I'd say high effort to reward ratio.

To someone unfamiliar with White Point, as I am, it's not at all clear that there even is a trailhead. No signage. By observing others, we gradually came to realize there is. Those really in the know where able to take advantage of the two or three parking spots near it. Others parked in the dockside lot below. From what we could see, the beginning of the trail was basically an exposed, rocky, Jeep or ATV road. Not very inviting. Presumably the trail gets nicer or at least the views are worth it.

Sentier et paysages bien plus beau que celui du Middle Head au parc à Igonish. Pour ma part c'est un arrêt obligatoire.

Only did a quick stop here but it was worth driving to because of the amazing views! Good photo opportunities as there aren’t as many people / tourists around.

Super sentier, très facile. Venir avant 9h pour être seul et profiter de cette nature incroyable. Point de vue magnifique, pensez aux jumelles ou un bon appareil photo.

This is a beautiful hike and area. I would rate it as easy to moderate the path is rocky. Saw grey seals on rocks at the point. There is limited parking going up the hill. Maybe 4 or 5 small cars. You can park below in lot by public beach area. Be mindful and respectful of village residents and children.

If you've been to Cabot trail and did not go there, you missed a lot.

Most amazing view in our 1 month trip.

Go there when it's windy for extra fun!

Lesser known trail. No signs or boards. You'll have to trust GMaps to take you there. But it's worth the visit. Couldn't do the full length of the trail.

It was an easy trail and the scene is only second to skyline in cape breton imo. We spent two hours there and there was nobody else.

A lovely walk that was fairly easy. Windy so dress appropriately. Steep cliffs, caution for little children.

A very unexpected hike! Wasn't associating this with the unknown soldier and didn't really know what to expect when we parked the car at the dock and decided to hike up - worth it!

Amongst the best viewpoint on the whole parc. Yes it's a very easy walk but it's definitely worth the extra drive out of the Cabot trail. Parking is pretty tight at the trailhead so you might want to stop on the street just before (a lot of people did that).

Easy trail with a nice view. However, parking at the trailhead could be a problem when busy. Alternative is to park on the street right below the trailhead.

Off the beaten path from the Cabot Trail, this is worth the trip. Hike all the way out for stunning views!

White Point Trailhead is not right on the Cabot trail, so it takes some effort to find it. It is also not handicap friendly because the trail is very rocky and uneven with significant inclines to hike. However, if you are in decent physical condition, do make the effort to find and hike White Point because it may be one of the most beautiful locations in Nova Scotia (and that's saying a lot)!

I am giving this four stars instead of five because the drive up to the trail head and the parking lot are very rugged and have been washed out. For those without a 4WD vehicle with a high clearance, you're better off to park along the street of the village and hike all the way up.

Beautiful place. The trail is easy, goes around the point so you get views from both sides. We saw a seal swimming in the water.

Very scenic trail! As the road ends at the docks - there's a dirt path that heads up the hill. You can either pull up there and park (there's room for 2 or 3 cars up there) or find a spot along the road. There's a short hike out around the point, and then a longer path you can follow along the coast. Typically you'll see seals in the water, and it's a very enjoyable coastal hike that's not overly challenging.

Easy accessable trail right to the point for all ages! The grounds and view are worth the visit.

Well worth the drive out of the National Park. Beautiful views. But do be forewarned that the trails are rocky and narrow, so come prepared. This park is at cliffs edge, and you want to take that seriously.

This is a must see while on your way to another "off Cabot Trail" delight. Meat Cove.
