Always awesome. Took the teenager, who claims the double-double burger is one of the best he's ever tasted (this boy knows his burgers!) Reasonable prices, friendly service, always a pleasure to stop here!

Been here a few times. Lovely outdoor sitting area overlooking ocean inlet. Picnic tables and umbrellas. Staff Very friendly, polite. I had smoked meat sandwich delicious and my wife the reuben also delicious. Nice spot to stop on the way to/from Peggy's for a light lunch. Numerous bakery items also (not sampled).
Note: it's on a winding coastal road so it could be easy to miss.

Saw this cute little deli and bakery featured on CBC news and knew I had to go. So happy we did. Coming from Ontario we had it as a must to see. My husband ended up talking to the owner and he said that they were feeding the firefighters. That and their donations to the children's camp alone should make you want to visit. The turkey sandwich and poutine were delicious and the treats were tasty (Kennedy's squares the best).
This young couple have been working tirelessly to give back to their community as well as run their bakery. Best wishes and happiness on your new adventure!

I can not say enough good things about this place. This place? Is a MUST. Not only is their food worth traveling for they are the most kind hearted people I have ever seen run a business.
I don't know them but watching them feed firefighters and the community during the worst fire Nova Scotia has ever had?
Stop there for a true taste of what being a maritimer is all about. You will not be disappointed.

Seasonal bakery. Great place to stop on way to Peggys Cove. Has nice outdoor seating area with multiple picnic tables, some with umbrellas overlooking the water. Has great grab and go take away options as well for lunch on the road.

Really good sandwiches and baked goods. Friendly staff. The Reuben sandwich was amazing and the home cut fries are amazing.

Went there on Thanksgiving Holidays for Lunch October 2022, Take out. I had the Montreal Smoked meat, WOW! Added sauerkraut and Dijon. The Best east of Montreal got home grilled it. Awesome.

Not what it was. Had the most Amazing Coconut Cream Pie when the new owner opened up in the spring of 2022, and then by June 2022.they were half the size & just terrible tasting, pastry was pitiful, Sobeys does a much better job for less than 1/3 of the price. However their smoke meat sandwich was great, if they don't change it too.

Nice little bakery. Got there just before closing so had limited stock, but what we got was great. If driving by is in the cards I would stop again.

Lovely spot, the exit can get a little hairy in heavy traffic, food: awesome, desserts, always a difficult choice between everything, because everything IS AWESOME! Cannot wait to go back as often as possible.

Great fries but the smoked meat sandwich has really gone down hill. Used to be excellent but after today's visit to say it was average would be generous.

Love this place. We make a trip a few times a season for the sweet potato bread (so good). Today I decided lunch was in order since we were there. It did not disappoint. Smoked meat sandwich, a a Newfie poutine was enough to feed hubby and I, and share with the kids. Will be back for sure.

Amazing! Smoked meat sandwich is just as I remember from Montreal. Fries double dipped for fry connoisseurs, took home a tourtiere to bake can't wait to try it, and cinnamon rolls were sooooo good. Totally worth the drive, owners clearly strive for quality and service super friendly

Amazing food and the friendliest people. If you are driving past this place and not at least stopping for some sweet potato bread than you are seriously missing out!
