Wildwood Motel

This was not accessible. We had 11 traveling in our group, including one with limited mobility. We had to borrow the ramp from reception to get this member high enough to lift he and his chair up into the room.
It advertised breakfast when we booked it, but we were told during check-in that they don't do it anymore. It was forgettable and we wouldn't stay there again.

They staff were a friendly family who appear to be making improvements. It was just a place to lay our heads for the night, and it delivered that. However, they have no amenities to justify the cost.

On the site it stated breakfast included. Luckily on check-in when we asked what breakfast time was, we were informed that there'd be no breakfast. They did refund $19.00. Had to ask for a spare roll of toilet paper as the roll in the bathroom was only a 1/4 roll. They did replace it with a new roll and also spare roll. There were two "daddy long leg" spiders in the bathroom. There were two more items that I could mention but we made it through the night.

This hotel falls short of expectations and fails to justify its price tag of $150. Allow me to elaborate on the reasons why I strongly discourage a visit to this establishment. Firstly, the bed pillows are incredibly stiff and uncomfortably hard, providing an unsatisfactory sleeping experience. Secondly, cobwebs are pervasive throughout the premises, raising concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance. It begs the question: Is there a lack of care for potential repercussions? Furthermore, the check-in area is in a state of disrepair, with a conspicuous absence of a roof, exposing the interior to the elements. Such neglect is disheartening to witness. Lastly, the lamps in the room fail to function, leaving guests in the unsettling position of grappling with darkness. As a conscientious traveler, this disappointing experience has left me greatly dissatisfied.

Terrible. The seats had white stains which looked like bodily fluids. There were dead bugs all over the floor. Burns on the floor. Mold under the bath mat. They wouldn't even refund or accommodate a free night. It was almost like a "too bad for the customer" situation.

Very sad how this place has gone downhill. I needed a place to stay for one night, and the only place was one of their hotel rooms. Looked ok when I went in, very very cold. After getting it warmed up, went to plug in my phone and upon moving the end table beside the bed, found very very dirty underneath, and the baseboard heater was AWFUL! It had not been cleaned in a very long time. This was the most expensive place I stayed on my journey from Ontario to NS.and the least clean. I left the end table in the middle of the floor with a friendly note, really need to take care of these small details! Not a good value for the price.

Terrible experience. No working wifi, No Tv, No breakfast, No room service, but you can find all kinds of bugs in your room
