People were great, the room not so much. Major leak in the bathroom from a shoddily installed pedestal sink, burnt wires from the air conditioner that were laying on the baseboard heater.

Absolutely beautiful, clean, well appointed room. Arrived late, no booking, was very well accommodated. Sit down continental breakfast in the morning is included. It's Fall, was disappointed I couldn't stay longer and enjoy the beautiful pool. I've stayed many places, this is one I'd make a point to come back to.

Hi there, I would just like to make note on the quality of the room you have booked us.your website represents absolutely nothing what you are advertising… we booked a basic room. (117) and when arrived, the room had mold all over the ceiling and fruit flies flying all over. When we went to question the state of our room we were treated like we were crazy … once we were placed with our “new” room.they were booking a family in the room we were changing. Which is non acceptable to sleep in.

Although our “newer” room was slightly better there was still mold on the ceiling and had bugs, cobwebs and dirt throughout the room.to the point my partner and I slept in our car for the night since other locations had no vacancies.

Myself, with an asthma issue, realized this is a terrible location to situate ourselves in left us with no other choice. I have contacted the Nova Scotia health and safety as well and the Canadian health and safety because of the state of the stay at willow bend has expected us to have is inhumane.

Great room, kind service. No conplaints about the room or service, though the continental breakfast was lacking.

Was a clean fully equipped room. Was disappointed that they ran out of food for free breakfast ended

Wife stayed for 3 days. She had to switch rooms due to mold on the ceiling. A representative at the front desk said "That's not the bad mold. The second room had stains on the ceiling, also. The deadbolt would not lock, the window wouldn't lock. This room was street level. For a female to be given a room in which neither the door nor the window can't be properly locked is horrible. The bathroom lacked a functioning shower.

It felt better than the bigger chain motels, room was newly remodelled and smelt nice and fresh. A very good breakfast with lots of different stuff. To be honest at the end it felt like we could even have paid more for the same experience.

Recently stayed for 5 nights. Room was great on arrival, however, room was not cleaned or refreshed during entire stay. Garbage never emptied. Had to call for toilet paper, and fresh towels. Although weather was not cooperative, pool was not yet open for season in mid June.

Absolutely terrible management. Trying to charge customers for stains on sheets. Any decent hotel/motel have good laundry services to deal with such things. Unreasonable to deal with. We have stayed there for years, with my first stay being back in 2002 but now the service leaves much to be desired.

*if the laundry can’t get a small puppy pee mistake out of sheets I truly question the quality of the cleaning supplies being used. Also one set of sheets is not 200$*

Lovely, Lovely, Lovely. I can't say enough about this little jewel of a motel. The room we stayed in was so clean and bright, comfortable bed, tasteful decor, even had a little desk to work at under the window. It is on a main road but most of the rooms are well back from the road and the birds in the tree outside were noisier than the road!
Free breakfast and helpful service. We were there in April, but in the summer it has a small heated pool with a patio that looks nice.
I have stayed in lots of motels this trip and this one is head and shoulders above the rest.

Willow Bend motel is really we placed in Truro - very close to Victoria park, some of the main stores, etc. It's a great place to stay, especially if you're on a road trip through NS/NB. There's a heated pool, you're welcome to use the BBQ. There's complimentary breakfast as well, which is a great add for those who are in a hurry in the morning. The check in was easy and quick - professional staff. Rooms clean, with a fridge, pretty modern. TV's a bit old, and weren't able to connect a USB or anything in particular. Plenty of parking spots as well.

The cleaning staff stole my cell phone charger then claimed it was an accident. Not possiable as it was set up a certian way not able to steal it accidently. She went to a lot of effort to accidently steal it. Liars and theifs.

Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. The room had recently been updated. Wonderful soaker tub. Also a lovely breakfast included in the price.

Based on other reviews we decided to stop here overnight. We loved it and highly recommend it to others. The rooms have all been renovated, it appears. Calming colors, clean room and very comfortable bed. Add to that an excellent continental breakfast in a lovely, spacious breakfast area. My husband's favorite part was that he was able to back up our car right to the door of our unit to unpack, rather than parking far away, going up elevators and trekking down long hallways.

This motel is newly renovated. The rooms are very clean and the mattress is so comfortable. It’s well worth the price we paid. Its location is close to everything. They offer a huge continental breakfast. The owners and staff are very friendly. It even has an enclosed courtyard with an outdoor pool although it’s not the right time of year to use it.

We have stayed at the Willow Bend 3 times since May. Friendly staff, large rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast and always clean. Our go to every time.
