We couldn’t be happier with our dealings with World Wide. Debbie made the process easy and fun while selecting fabrics, colours and even the pillows. Never any pressure. Just excellent customer service.
We had challenges at delivery that had zero to do with the business. They worked with us and now we have a beautiful new addition to our home. We wouldn’t consider going anywhere after this. If you want a great product, excellent selection and genuine customer service give them a call. Ask for Debbie. You’ll enjoy it.

Very poor experience. Do not deal with Brian for sales. Dishonest, sneaky and condescending. He washes his hands clean after he makes a sale and gets the commission. He will not hear any concerns and will pass you off. The manager TIM BOYD is very unprofessional, condescending and insulting. Extremely disrespectful. These employees do not care for their customers, they care about the sale. Tim was very passive aggressive and proudly did absolutely nothing for the trouble we had after we made purchase. He treated the situation as a joke on us. Very disappointed to see how they treat customers. We had many issues after purchasing a sofa from damage to miscommunication to changed dates.

Got a bedroom set but the only one they had available was the floor model, dressers and nightstands were already put together so all we had to do was put the bed together, but with no instructions it was quite confusing, where neither of us put a bed together like this one. Plus the people in the warehouse gave us the screws for the bedframe/headboard and we were missing 3 screws. So that was no good either.

Do not buy from here! The sales person never calls you back when she says she would. Gives wrong information. Sofa arrived damaged, broken frame, stitching so bad you can see stuffing, gaps in between cushions that you can see the floor and the sales managers said “ this is normal”. No it’s not. Out of my 5 piece sofa 3 parts need to be replaced.

Stay away from this website. They import the cheapest Chinese merchandise into Canada selling it at regular prices. Fake product photos, fake materials, fake everything. Not everything coming from China is bad, but do your research and think twice before making my mistake and donating your money to this seller.

We were greeted by Carolyn at the door, she introduced herself, asked what we were looking for and directed us towards it. Then she left us to wander. After a good amount of time she came to ask if we had questions, we did, and she answered them. Then she left us to continue again. She really has a knack for knowing when to leave the customers to do their thing, and when to approach again.
Hopefully the furniture is half as good as Carolyn is at her job:)

We are very happy with the sectional couch we bought. The sales person (Gary?) was very helpful but the delivery team were excellent. When we realized that the couch would not fit through any of our doors, they agreed to come back again later after I removed a window and then they lifted it all through the window without any issues. Great service.

Lots of selection under one roof! Although my go-to is still Leon's as their prices are best, Atrium has several stores under the same roof and is good to check out the different styles available. Worldwide has some great sales as well- but only last until their stock runs out so you have to act fast!

Their people are very polite and helpful. But out of numerous purchases, often between them and Ashley’s in which both their sales reps say things like “we can group your orders to be delivered at once”, they have now clue how to navigate their record keeping systems.

It’s painful every time knowing my name and number is on their systems to watch them struggle to find it and complete the purchase order, or later find parts of my order that where not delivered.

We first went to Leon's in Burnside and found 2 beautiful chairs! Wanted to buy them cash right away! But the salesman Joe was so abrasive and rude about not giving them to us because of the wait time of 4-6 months! He also advised us that if Leon's can't get it no one can! Needless to say that was not an answer we wanted to accept or tolerate.
Walled into Worldwide the next day and Carolyn was quick to greet us and advised us what to look for on in stock items. Showed us some things in our budget and was quick to help us in any way! We found an electric loveseat that was perfect for us! The process was quick and easy! We pick up this Saturday!

We got help almost immediately after we walked in, we were not pressured into buying more expensive furniture, purchasing the furniture was relatively quick. Only problem was the we felt a little rushed, almost as if we were supposed to be quick with our decision.

Store was very clean and display furniture neatly displayed. Our sales rep was friendly and was able to assist me in finding the right dinette set I had in mind. I would have provided a full 5 stars, but the dinette set was missing 2 chairs and are backordered until November and no offer of a discount for the inconvenience, due to A) the dinette set was on sale and 2) most of the furniture is on backorder.

I would shop again at Worldwide Furniture.

We had to purchase a couch rather quickly and they had a ton of selection! Our sales person, Brian, was friendly and helpful. Delivery took nearly two weeks (which is a long time if you ask me), but the delivery itself was less than 10 minutes in total.

The only downside is the sales training that was clearly taught or ingrained. It was dead obvious to me and my spouse that they are trained to sell to the wife and the husband just pays. When we finally made our choice, Brian only spoke to me and didn't even acknowledge my spouse really.

I'd buy from here again, but wish they would go away from their sexist and heteronormative sales training.

We had Joe help us choose a new couch for our home. We told him what we wanted in the couch and he brought us to exactly what we we're looking for. I enjoyed our experience, he left us to sit on all the couches he showed us then came back to see if we made a decision. Never pushed for a decision, helped us make the decision and we ended up buying a Canadian brand that had excellent warranty.

Purchased a table set from here. First time someone sat on the bench (female who weighed 130 pounds) it broke. They assured us a replacement had been ordered and was on the way, could take awhile, and now they have stopped responding to emails and aren't answering the phone.
Next step will be dragging it into the store and demanding a refund. Don't be tempted by the lower prices, not worth it.

Edit- New bench arrived, assembled quickly and assured it wouldn't break. An hour ago, while a friend was sitting on a separate chair, we realized it as well was broken. We rarely use this table and chairs, except when we entertain (not often during covid) and within a YEAR two separate pieces have broken after having someone sit on them. Awful.

Wish I could give them a zero star. The bed we got last fall has super bad quality, had one leg supporting the bed at the bottom broke down after 2 months use. And after waiting a long time for someone to come fix it, it didn't get fix properly. The support part of the bed started falling apart not long after the came fix it. After we contacted them again, didn't receive any good solution for 4 months. I am very disappointed about everything, terrible quality furniture and bad service!

This place is horrible. We purchased near 4000 worth of motion furniture. The chair was
stained with a handprint. The liveseat had a scratch and creaked after a week. We called the same day it was delivered and told them about the stain and scratch. To this date almost 5 months after receiving the firniture, the stain and scratch have not been addressed. They took our furniture for a week and, after initially yelling us nothing was wrong, they said they fixed it. Here we are two weeks later and it's back to creaking again. Never again will I purchase from the atrium.

It's always a challenge for me to find a sofa and or chair that will be comfortable as well as durable. Something that will stand "the test of time" as they say. We chose a Deco Rest set as well as an accent chair. I really like that they are Canadian made.
Not oversized, comfortable, structured with somewhat of a firm support but not hard. The accent chair was also comfortable. I am not a fan of the puffy back sofa that sagas and looses it's shape in a year or so.
Deco Rest has built this particular soda with that inner lining that holds everything in place. If your sofa or chair do have some wear over time and you find they are not as firm as they use to be, you can have them refilled just in that one seat or back.at a reasonable price. Much better than having to buy a new sofa. They have a wide selection of colors to choose from.
As far as the service, there was always someone waiting to great us when we entered the store. We were dealing with the same sale person each time we entered the store. He was able to answer all of our questions.
Just a little disappointed with the actual wait time for our order. 5 to 6 months. The manufacture had closed their doors for a month because of covid. Which would explain the long wait times. I guess being in the middle of a pandemic everything is a bit of a struggle these days.
Overall, our experience was a good one.

Dissapointing experience as I paid for a sectional couch with delivery in advance, I was contacted and informed less than 24 hours before my delviery time they could not honor the deliverly to my home (brining it to my house, assembly), but could drop it off on the curb for me.

I agreed to accept a drop off to deal with brining the couch up two flights of stairs myself if they would simply refund the delivery charge, they offered to refund half. Dissapointed to have what I thought was a professional company passing costs like this off to a customer, when they could not fulfill the agreed upon terms. Returned my purchase and requested a refund for the lack of consdieration they showed in the circumstance. Will be taking my business to a competitor.

When I'm shopping for a particular piece of furniture, I like to check out the go-to furniture stores in the Halifax/Dartmouth area. I always seem to end up at World Wide Furniture. My most recent experience was awesome. Joel, our salesperson, was excellent. He was well-informed, pleasant and provided great customer service. I would highly recommend asking for him if you're looking.

My wife and I went in to the Atrium in Dartmouth browsing today and noticed a couple of the salespeople were busy. We browsed through the living room furniture, testing any piece of furniture we thought would fit our needs and there was a couple sales people who walked by and did not pay any attention to us. We did find something we liked but left and browed elsewhere. We went back to Worldwide and when we walked in one gentleman (Joe S) came and asked us what brought us in today and we said we were in earlier and liked a sofa and said he asked if anyone was helping us and when we said no and he was quick to apologize and asked us what we were looking at. Joe was happy to hear we liked a product and was more than happy to help us with the sale. He made sure we were aware of all the terms and conditions of the sale and made sure we made the right purchase. He looked into pick up vs delivery options and couldn't do enough to help us. My wife and I are happy to give a five star review to Joe S.but as far as Worldwide goes we were not happy with their sales service.

If there was an option to give fewer than one star to a business this would be the place to exercise that right.

When I was moving to Halifax my girlfriend and I decided to take a peak into Worldwide Furniture and were initially captivated by the seemingly competitive prices, and a superficially helpful salesman. I was happy to make a sizeable order on the condition that my furniture (including a bedframe, mattress, dining table, chairs, couch, etc.) be delivered by a certain date, which was about 1.5 months in the future. The salesman assured me that this would be no problem and I happily slapped down the full payment (totalling in the thousands of $$$) in advance, buoyed by the confidence that when I moved to Halifax for good, my furniture would be waiting for me.

Alas, this was not to be. I arrived in Halifax at the expected date, and rushed to my apartment in anticipation of my upcoming furniture delivery. I was at first surprised and then dismayed to wait for about 3 hours after the anticipated delivery time, at which point I phoned the office to inquire about my missing furniture. The previously apparently friendly salesman was off that day, I was told, and nobody seemed to know anything about my furniture. At this point, it was in the late afternoon and I was wondering if I'd have to sleep on the floor of my empty apartment. I called WWF back and was told that there had been a significant delay in my furniture delivery, and that it would be another month before I saw my order delivered. Obviously, this was suboptimal. After a significant amount of back-and-forthing WWF agreed to send a single mattress, which was unceremoniously dumped in front of my apartment, still in its plastic wrap.

The next few weeks were a nightmare of phone calls and excuses from WWF, and included such charming events as being told I needed to pay extra for rush delivery for my solo mattress, despite previously paying a full delivery fee for my whole order (which was significantly delayed) and being accused of lying about my initial agreement regarding delivery time for my order.

A month after the previously agreed time, my bedframe finally arrived, and was assembled in my apartment while I was at work. That night the frame nearly disintegrated when I sat down on the bed, and on closer examination the Allen-keyed screws were loose AF. I had to then tighten them myself, despite paying for assembly of my furniture by WWF.

Of course, no effort was made by the company to offer any kind of compensation or apology for this kerfuffle, and I am starting to believe that this may actually be WWF's standard operating procedure.

In short, my experience with this company is far below what I'd expect for an apparently legal business operating in Canada. Between the missed delivery times, shoddy customer service, deplorable home assembly, and overall questionable quality of product, I would encourage any prospective customers of Worldwide Furniture to steer clear of this disaster of an establishment and instead check out the newly opened nearby Swedish furniture and meatball purveyor.

AMAZING! Was at a big box furniture store to buy a dining room set. Was told it was out of stock and could take up to 3 months for delivery. Left there disappointed at not getting the table we wanted and headed over to Worldwide Furniture to see if we could find anything we liked.
To our amazement, there was the exact dining table set - for $300 less. It was in stock and is being delivered in 2 weeks.
Loving our experience, we looked around and also bought a beautiful coffee table and end tables too.
Great service, great prices. Lesson learned.next time we are in the market for furniture.we go to Worldwide Furniture first!

We purchased a couch two weeks ago and each time we sit on it there is an audible creek and movement in the lower frame. We can also see a visible bend in the frame which appears to be bowing. We’ve contacted their location several times and were told it would be reviewed by their service department which for some reason could take several weeks as they’ve “outsourced their service (?) ”. In the meantime we have a brand new couch that we are afraid to sit on and nobody will get back to us. We were recommended their store by a friend who’s made many purchases there but are highly disappointed by the quality of our first purchase as well as the service.

Brian greeted us at the door and asked if we needed help, explained a few things about the sale that was going on as well as explained a few things about the leather section as we showed interest, and then left us to shop in our own. We were very appreciative of this, as we have been hounded in the past by sales people while buying furniture. Once we decided on our purchase, Brian was extremely helpful, and our experience was wonderful from start to finish.

On Aug 19 I purchased a $1,700 chair. On Aug 21, I picked it up And over the weekend using it there was a loud clunking and snapping noise from the left side every time the chair was rocked. We reinserted the back multiple times to make sure it was seated properly but nothing changed. Called Worldwide 4 times over the next 2 days and left messages but no reply until finally someone answer. They said they would refer it to the service department. It is now a week later and no contact with a time or other information on their so called “Service Department”
They still a small amount of time to redeem themselves but this is a terrible way t9 conduct business. I have made other purchases here but no more.

Bought a couch from here and just over a year the wood completely broke on both the back and the bottom. Called and they said they couldn't do anything about it since we had not gotten the extended warranty. It had been a week after the warranty expired. Now I need to buy a new couch. Won't be shopping here again.

I shop for value / quality / price along with after service which may be required on any furniture purchase. This business I think plays fair ball all the way around.
