Haven't been here in over a decade at least but it's still just as good as ever.

We have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years. Always great food and service! Brownie is probably one of the best waiters in Halifax!

Came with a friend because of the name of the place. Found it soo hilarious and loved it even more when served with such good food and great service. Definitely visiting again!

Great pub in downtown Halifax. Food is decient and the beer is cold, can't ask for more.

Decided to stop in to grab some supper during a day out on a nice hot day.
Our server was absolutely fantastic,
Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great.
Only reason I gave a 4 on atmosphere is we were on the rooftop patio and found that there wasn't enough umbrellas and the sun was directly in my face the entire time. But that is a very minor thing and really didn't take away much from a fantastic experience

One of the best spots on Spring garden, the rooftop patio is quite nice and the fries served anyway here are great! Definitely one of my favorite spots to start a night out with friends in city! Reasonable prices as well!

Taco bowl was delicious! I keep forgetting that the food here is top notch. The fries are the kind that are battered and are so good.

Seems like an ordinary pub, until you get your food. Exceptional. Great portions and really unique flavours. Lobster mac n cheese is actually worth it (gorgeous gouda and big chunks of fresh lobster) and the pad Thai is actually creative (if a bit sweet for my palate).

Food was ok, nice setting on the rooftop, but unfortunately we ended up next to the AC unit and the sound was not great!

Really decent service and reasonable price for the high-end. I was visiting a friend who lives in town and we were happy to see each other once again! I ordered the lobster roll and the nachos with a Dirty Blonde Beer 12oz. Good times and very satisfied!
PS, the crude joke in the men's washroom? Genius!:)

We had an amazing experience here today for lunch on the rooftop patio!
Very kind helper, tasty food (both Pasta & Fish), super fresh salad, cold drinks and super clean tables!
Food was ready fairy quick and it was hot enough to not get cold on rooftop of 19°C if you take your time.
We got what we asked for very fast and liked the name and internal decors!
If you're visiting Halifax Public Gardens, this place is right at the corner for a quick bite!
The sandwiches, burger and nacho looked amazing, made me regretting not ordering one! But, Fish was very delicious and cooked perfectly!
Also, the bathrooms were really clean.
I strongly recommend this place to all.

This is our fav place to eat when we come to Halifax. When we asked the kids what they wanted to do when we came to Halifax this restaurant was top on their list. Great food and always friendly staff.

After a fly landed in my wife's supper the waitress ask us how the food was besides the fly. She never finished her supper and we were charged full price for both meals. I paid and we left because my wife did not want me to make a scene, as we were in the city for a hospital appointment.
We have eaten there lots of times in the past but this will likely be my last visit. Very disappointed in the service this trip.

I didn't see their old French Onion soup on the menu. Instantly lost a star because of that. Otherwise absolutely go here!

It's big, thats for sure, looks like a lot of floor space.
Prices weren't bad, good was good, I had fish n chips and a few beer.
Prices weren't bad at all, atmosphere was nice, staff was friendly.

Not a bad pub. Plenty of beer selection from local favorites to your big brand options, and lots of screens to watch whatever sporting events are on. The food is okay, not great, but not bad. The patio in the summer and view out the front window of Spring Garden Rd are nice.

Had the haddock special & ut was really well done! The view from rooftop pation is great and atmosphere good and staff good.

Nice clean restaurant. Did not eat there had drinks on rooftop patio. Has the funniest mural over the men's washroom urinals

Went last night with my family and it was the worst service we ever received after not being there in a few years. My 2 kids ordered a plate of potatoe skins. The waitress did not even let us know they had a bit of spice to them. We waited 20 mins for a drink. We werent checked on, she was extremely rude and I will not be returning.

Great bar with an excellent collection of beers on tap. The rooftop patio was great as well when it's nice out.

Good collection of bar food, and their fries are particularly good. Service was fast and attentive, even in the lunch rush.

Great and fast service, got my food hot and ready within 15 to 20 minutes! Great music and awesome atmosphere! Prices are also pretty good!

It's a nice pub to visit, enjoy music/ sports with some nibbles or food. The staff is great and prompt on answering.

Amazing experience! Just arrived from Toronto today, and this was a first lobster dinner! Our server Chris was amazing, and made it super enjoyable. Definitely set the tone for the trip.excited for more lobster dinners! Thank you Chris!

4.47 stars.so rounded off ~ our Rochelle was too shelf all around.we just across.from the LNH that night. MF'sM happy crowd says volumes ~ did put it to Rochelle to choose a fav for me, pulled pork pulled it closer to a 5 here. Thanx R for putting up with me Have known of this place for decades but being too far out I seldom venture.well worth it - Thanx folks!

Great food.really hot and very friendly service. Our server was so helpful when we were making our choices. Our fish and chips was extremely fresh and I would recommend it ro be tried by everyone.

A comfortable place with good food fast service and polite staff all in all a pleasurable experience

Beer was good and the atmosphere was nice, but the food was not great. Soggy calimari, way over cooked buger and soggy haddock. Fries were good and staff was friendly

Great food and Great Service. Like most restaurants in downtown Halifax I wish there were a homemade fries option. I had the Chicken and Waffle Sandwitch, Awesome.

Great rooftop patio. College-vibe upstairs, a bit older crowd inside. Not quite staffed well enough for the number of people.

Pokestop in reach which is great. Very close to two gyms, so it's just a quick duck out for a raid if you want. Spawns aren't super, but not awful. The service is nice. Lots of taps, including cider options so that is lovely. The food is.not great. It's FINE. But, you know, just FINE. Do not order the pub club tho. Unless you are the kind of person who likes a plate of beige and then DEFINITELY order the pub club.

It's been a while since I've been back and nothings changed in the best way. Jenna was our favourite waitress we've ever had. Love that woman!

Not weelchair acessable. You have to go up a narrow set of stair to get to the restaurant. The food was awsome, the fries were great! The patio on the roof is a beautiful place to sit. It was very loud for the amount of people inside.

Wings are amazing the atmosphere is cool but it can get busy and the waiters take time to take orders and serves table

No brunch served on weekdays but still had a tasty breakfast sandwich with great service and very neat moustache/beard themed atmosphere.

Loved the rooftop patio and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Pub Club sandwich and it was outstanding. Great craft beer selection too.
