Great pricing. Would be nice if they shipped a little faster. Seems to take a week to process and receive an order that is only half hour away. Might consider picking up my next order. Otherwise a great company to deal with so far.

Don’t get sucked in for their promotion for free cleaning products if you pick up instead of the free delivery option. Terrible customer service. After writing the review I finally got a reasonable explanation from customer service. They should explain their promotion better.

I had 2 bad experiences with parts avatar, their parts are low quality and won't last long. I bought a brake pads that was faulty and it took them over 45 days to complete my refund and I had to send them 15 emails. Last year I bought a tie rod for my Hyundai Santa Fe, 4 month after it went bad and I had to replace them with better quality. Be aware don't fall for their low prices

**Update** someone reached out they reviewed my complaint and offered a compensation. I'll give one more chance. Thank you.

I have placed multiple orders through Parts Avatar. Out of them, one order had sent me the wrong parts, and now four times they were delivered after the delivery dates stated. They have messed me up on multible jobs, costing me quite a bit of money as I have to buy the parts else where to avoid a bad reputation. I am then stuck with extra parts because they charge a restocking fee to take them back. I have had about 1 or 2 good experiences with them and I will try to avoid the company in the future.

A long story, I found them through internet, quickly found the parts I needed, online sales were helpful for the order, after two days parts arrived, thermostat missing gasket but in the product photos it has, sec of all, the radiator has a straight cut.luckily I did not install with full inspection.otherwise coolant will be wasted and installation as well.now I am stuck in the middle of no where.
If the company doesn't have phone to reach out, you should take precaution to deal with them in case of after sale matters.

It was easy to find the part I needed based on my car profile, and I like that you suggested the upper and lower rad hoses to go with my Radiator. I wasn't thinking of that but it makes good sense.

after 14 days Partsavatar send 266.18$ to me as refund.they did not send any bill to me.so partavatar where is the reset of my money (46,97$).

Don't give these crooks your money. I ordered a new wiper motor for my sedan which the website said was compatible with my car. Not only was I given the wrong item at pickup but when I returned it, I was charged a 15% restocking fee. I immediately spoke to a customer service representative and he said it's part of the policy and he can do nothing about it. I mentioned how they sent me the wrong item and that it's not my fault. He said it fits the wagon model of my car, therefore its under the policy even though I specifically selected the sedan on the website. Unbelievable

Edit: Apparently several other reviewers have had this same issue. Not the kind of company to waste your money with

I am up reviewing this because parts arrived quite fast, packaging on one was totally damaged but part is fine. Their customer service is terrible, those online chats log off when they cannot provide you with information you require.

Terrible warranty service. Couldn't even escalate to a higher level as they only have chat. Terrible customer service. Defective $14 wiper blade and then have to pay $13 to ship it because it is less than the $49 cutoff for free shipping. Beware of their Warranty terms and conditions.

My parts from the USA are here and I am still waiting for my Shipment from Parts Avitar, 2 hours away. Used the chat function to ask for update, all I got was please be patient, it’s been 6 days…

Don't make a huge mistake and deal with this company I ordered front and rear rotors and pads and gave ALL the data required including bolt pattern, first delay they could not find ceramic pads, then they say they were defective then they tried to substitute metallic for same price, when they finally arrive 2 weeks late, fronts are 7 bolt and rears are 6 bolt their answer is oops send them back and start again by placing new order. They don't care that it has cost you time, money and inconvenience They have no concept of customer service. There are other suppliers that want your business and will not rest til you have the parts you need, not this company. BEWARE.

Très mauvaise expérience. J'ai commandé 4 items et j'en ai reçu un deffectueux. Le représentant m'a dit de suivre la procédure de retour. J'ai donc payé le transport et ensuite je dois racheter la pièce et payer le transport puisque <49$. J'ai n'ai eu que le remboursement de la pièce deffectueuse et la compagnie ne veut pas me rembourser les deux transports. Les représentants du service clientèle sont comme des robots et ne prennent pas le temps de répondre au problème et ils font du copier/coller de réponses déjà écrites.

Very bad experience. I ordered 4 parts and received a faulty one. The representative told me to follow the return procedure. So I paid for the transport and then I have to buy back the part and pay for the transport since <49$. I only had the reimbursement for the defective part and the company does not want to reimburse me for both shipping. The costumer services are like robots and doesn't take time to answer the problem and they just copy/paste some already written answers.

Good selection of parts. Great prices. Decent shipping. Customer service is mediocre, return process is terrible. Received incorrect part, (even though website indicated otherwise). Contacted customer service, it took a while to figure to sort things out, and the conclusion was that I have to return the part, and follow their return process. Comparative picture of the received part and old part were required in process. Makes sense. Took some time to dissamble the car to get to the old part. I understand that there are policies in place, but such a run around for a$30part. Don't forget the shipping fees.to ship it back, and potential restocking. Could have let me know that they can't so anything and just request ro return the part as per return procedure. Just wasted time, mine and customer reps'.

When browsing the website it seems great but the stock is not accurate.

A radiator I ordered showing in stock was cancelled the next day, and this put me one day behind on the repair.

Also, a chat representative told me the radiator was incompatible with my car but I had to find out on my own that it was indeed compatible.

Also ordered some oil filters and they contacted me a few days later asking for wanted to cancel the order as they would take longer than anticipated to get.

Overall this website is very impressive in terms of their stock and prices but I think the reality is a lot of the stuff on their website is not actually available.

This is one of the better autoparts online I have used; BUT there are delivery and longer transportation delays that you are NOT informed with until after the fact. First excellent auto parts inventory and assortments, Cheers to that! But the fact that they used Puralator is nice, except Puralator dumps it to Canada Post lol. This creates a lag transportation delay. Worst you still have to go to the main Canada Post Office to pick up your auto parts lol. How is that door-to-door delivery? I used Autoway parts Canada for years on all my cars, always door-to-door. Avatar needs to improve this ASAP. As for transportation estimation from October 13-20th considering I placed the order on October 9th, it only all finally arrived today October 25th.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a part had it installed at garage to find out it didn't work-defective. They did not have a replacement part so had to order elsewhere, only to be charged a restocking fee for a defective part. Not my fault their part doesn't work. They probably put the part back on the shelf to screw someone else with it. Terrible customer service.

I order part #PGD1469M for my 2012 X3, both PartsAvayar website and Raybestos show this part is compatible with my vehicle built November 2011, but when I tried to install the part, it turned out not the right part for my car. But the website and Raybestos manufacturer said it should be right part for my car. And then I have to go long process of taking my old parts down and took images of old brake pads and the one I ordered, sending images to them. And they found out part # PGD1473M is compatible with my vehicle instead of part #PGD1469M. But the PartsAvatar website and Raybestos manufacturer's discription show Part #PGD1473M is only compatible with vehicles manufactured till October 2011. The conclusion is I ordered right part for my car according to PartsAvatar's website discription, but not the right part for my car, and I have to ship the part back on my own charge to get my refund. It is really a joke.

So whose fault is it anyway? I did everything right, buying the parts strictly follow PartsAvatar's website and Raybestos manufacturer's discription. But the parts are not compatible with my vehicle and I have to bear the cost though I did nothing wrong. It is not a good practice to do business.

I ordered front and rear brake shoes on Oct. 19th. One of the orders was out of stock although the website listed it as available. I was offered replacement parts at an additional cost but it took 11 days for them to move them between warehouses. My shipping label was not created until Oct. 31st. If you are hoping to get parts quickly, I hope you have a better experience.

I chatted with a customer care representative about what I need, I gave him the necessary information for my car and he sent me the link for complete front struts assembly left and right for my 2008 335i. Upon taking it to my mechanic, he said I got the wrong part. I have returned the parts via Canada post paying 60cad for xpress shipping. You guys should refund my money as soon as possible.

Terrible customer service, twice now I have had problems. And I've only ordered from them two times. Last time they sent me a faulty alternator and made the return process extremely hard. This time they shipped my order all in one box with no packing material. Both the flywheel (40lbs), the tiny driveshaft seals and everything in-between just flying around inside. Absolutely terrible service, I go out of my way to not order from them and you should too.

Aug 24/2021 Update:
Partsavatar has refunded the purchase of Raybestos rotors after few online chats (they were not very helpful). I decided to change the rating to 4 (minus 1 due to I had to ship parts at my own expense).
It was a good gesture that they refund the money and I can decide to buy different brand of rotors (not get stuck with Raybestos coating rotor again).
In future, I may still consider use Partsavatar service but with caution (make sure known good part before ordering).

Thanks for store owner refunded my money.

Ordered 2 Raybestos rotors, they had coating on braking surface. Within 5Km both rotors showed deep scores I believed coating trapped under brake pads and caused scores. I asked Partsavatar for help to get replacement parts. Basically they wanted me to order the same parts, shipping back rotors with my own pocket, after they check if qualify for refund, but I still pay for shipping cost. Never to buy stuffs from them again.this first time also the last time.

-August 10/2021 update- Removed Resbestos rotors off the car, the rotors and pads were destroyed by coating after 15 minutes driving. Asked dealership the price for OEM pads were quoted $170. Wrote to Partsavatar customer service, not helpful.no return label and estimate cost to send back rotors ~$60 my own expense. If this was Amazon or Rockauto, they would send me replacement right away.
I am going to take the loss of $274 I paid for rotors!

Paid someone to drop off 2 rotors to Partsavatar Mississauga location, weight 25Kg last week. I have assumed they will send me replacement parts. When I asked the support online today.the answer was "NO". Basically they wanted me put in order again and after review for refund. There is no 100% they will refund then I would be end up to pay twice + shipping RMA parts. Never do business with them again!

Then they Lie about not answering phones because if COVID.have a look at the text response in the image. A vary poorly run garbage operation. I wanted to support local and this is what I get. As a first time customer my experience was very disappointing to say the least. Prior to completing the order I was prompted that it would take 24-48 hrs to process. I was ok with that and selected pick up the part. 24-48 hrs has expired 3 days ago. I contacted customer service on the chat and was now advised 24-36hrs. Today contacted again and was advised 2-3 days. At that point I was asked wether I would like to cancel the order which I did based on the the continued wait time to process orders here. In the end I would never have ordered these parts if I knew it would take this long. Now I will wait to see when my credit card will be reimbursed as to whether I will ever return as a customer. Let's see?

Ordered brake rotors from here. Site said they were in stock and would arrive within a week. 2 weeks later the site said my order was delivered (it wasn't), but when I contacted the online chat I was told the rotors are actually on backorder and won't ship for 3 to 4 weeks. Impossible to get ahold of anyone reasonable to speak with. Avoid the headache and spend the extra few dollars somewhere that can afford a sales team.

Ordered couple of parts for my car and nothing came. Looks like purolator lost it and was not willing to help. Purolator support told me that partsavatar has to help me and these guys told me that Purolator has to help me!? ! Support from these guys is non existent. I'm out almost $ 90.lesson learned.never again. BEWARE. UPDATE. I see that you're answering with asking me to get in touch WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE? IS THAT THE SAME CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT ASKED ME 15 TIMES IF I CHECKED AROUND THE HOUSE AND ASKED MY NEIGHBORS? Truly entertaining! I think I will pass.

Slow. Slow processing, slow shipping, slow communication. Part arrived damaged, box was fine. Part was damaged before being packaged, returns process long and overdrawn. Order somewhere that appreciates you as a customer.

Bought an ac compressor from here at a good price, no problems with shipping or recieving the package. However, after I had the mechanic install it and recharge the system, it turns out the compressor is faulty and has no resistance inside so the clutch can't activate. Contacted customer support via their live chat and the agent told me that I since it was installed, they couldn't return it. How am I supposed to test if a part like an ac compressor is faulty without installing it? Instead they told me I had to have it uninstalled (at my own expense), shipped back (at my own expense) AND I have to buy another compressor before they can claim warranty and THEN pay to have it installed and charged again and hope to god this one also isn't faulty. All the while the car I need for work and daily errands is sitting in the shop. If you sent me a faulty part why am I, the customer, on the hook for miscellaneous expenses? That's just bad business ethics. I'm just taking the loss on this but writing to warn others. Just wished I read the reviews before ordering because this seems to be the case without a lot of people. Spend the extra 60 bucks at your local parts store and save yourself the headache.

Bought a muffler and (I thought) tailpipe and when it finally arrived it was a muffler with no tailpipe. Useless. Their response. "We have checked the part details and found that it comes with muffler assembly only. It does not include pipe. We accept the fact that there is an error in our catalogue. We are extremely apologetic for the inconvenience. We are taking this incident very seriously and are making plans to ensure that it will never happen again. " Clearly false advertising as more than 1 listing showed the tailpipe and exhaust tip. Offered a 10% discount. HOW ABOUT SEND ME WHAT'S IN THE LISTING PETER OR ALDO! I can buy an MBRP exhaust system for what they want for the muffler and tailpipe. Not doing business with them again.

Good place to pick up most auto parts at a cheap price. They don't stock stuff here though, you have to order online a day in advance, then drop by to pick up. They even do free returns if you drop off in person. Handy if you're living in or near Brampton.

They part was hard to find in Canada this was the only place that I can easily locate without hassle of phone calls etc shipping beats ordering from eBay and we had it in a day or two it was fast! I didn’t give full 5 stars only because some parts are more expensive then eBay, and I couldn’t track it as it was here so fast I never knew it would arrive that quick, to be a perfect service a phone call automated or a text, or email that item will be delivered that day would be nice so we can watch out for it. Instead we just say a giant box on back door deck. I’m contemplating ordering the fog grilles but instead of package deal like in the states this part offers individual costs so have to pay 5-6 $ more then eBay. I will see if I can get match pricing. And maybe they will earn the 5th star. All around pretty impressed by the delivery and fair prices

Sent me the parts that would not fit my car, They told me if it was their mistake they would cover the cost of shipping. I proved it was their mistake and they stopped emailing me. They refuse to allow me to speak to them over the phone and they would not allow me to drop they wrong parts off in person as I work close to their warehouse. I will never deal with them again after my experience. Very unprofessional and they refuse to allow me to deal with management.

I want to make this review as accurate as possible. I purchased a brake drum puller on Sept 11. It showed up as shipped on Sept. 12.with an estimate arrival of Sept. 14-21.and showed "waiting for carrier" up until the 24th. Spoke with "Chat" on several occasions previous to this without any results. The Canada Post tracking number they gave me said "Not in system". A "Chat" on the 24th got Partsavatar to call CP and then it finally showed up in Canada Posts system, but the part was still sitting in Quebec where it started. I still don't know whether if this is Partsavatar's fault or CP. Eventually it showed up at a sorting station in Ontario. CP tracking said it was on it's way to it's destination but the next day it said it was being processed AGAIN. Partsavatar site still shows it as being in transit even though I got the part yesterday. I was told Partsavatar's site is linked to CP but apparently not. After many calls to CP it must have worked-CP called me later the same day to verify what their tracking said
was correct. (delivered on the 27th). When I first ordered this part, Partsavatar said I would receive a printed invoice by mail to my mailing address which has not been received. I am happy that I have received the part but honestly believe without my intervention it would still be somewhere in Quebec. I also do not like the fact that it is impossible to reach Partsavatar by phone. I realize that problems happen but this was completely aggravating and I will deal with people that are accessible by phone in the future.

I really had a awful experience with the parts avatar customer service. First of all their contact phone number doesn't work and client has to leave the voicemail for someone to call them back which they never did. I contacted them through chat platform and agent provided me email address to contact the shipping department. They were very unprofessional in their language as they simply say no to my return as I ask them free shipping label request as the parts doesn't fit properly in my vehicle. They ask me to send the snap shots which was inconvenient and have to jump through many hoops to get the refund finally but if I want to place the order again on their website I have to pay for the shipping again if order is less than $99 and lastly they accept the return with 15% restocking fee and client has to send the items by themselves within 30 days. I would like to purchase the items from my local store for future onwards as it was a lot of hassle to make a return or parts exchange

The parts I got were correct and the timeline to get them was great. The reason I only gave 3 stars was because of the packing of the parts. There was no packing between the parts boxes, they were just loose in the big box when I got them. Some of the parts had broke out of their own boxing exposing seals that could have been damaged. Fortunately none were. I would think twice about ordering again from here because, do I want to take the chance of receiving parts that have been damaged due to poor packing? It would be a waste of my time and money if I did.

As with other reviews this place has horrible customer service. Their website had the wrong part number for my car which I discovered once I had the car on a lift and the old parts out. I returned the parts only to get a partial refund despite their error. Tried calling customer service and no response referring me to their website. Web chat resulted in them asking me to send an email to customer service. Multiple emails to customer service explaining the issue and showing that their website has the wrong part number for my car resulted in no response nor resolution as I never received the proper refund. Additionally, I'm also out the return shipping costs and time wasted having to disassemble the car twice. They are quick to take orders and charge your credit card but no support or customer service. Avoid this place there are way better online places to get the right parts and with proper customer service.

First time customer and everything went smoothly, and I saved a lot of time and money. Napa wanted $10 more for the exact same part (same brand too), they were going to charge me an additional $15 to have it shipped to a local store, I would have to go to the store first to pre-pay, and then go back again days later to pick it up. All together, it would have been almost 2.5 times more expensive and an extra 40 minutes of my time! Of course, it helps that Parts Avatar is close to my house. But even if I had the part delivered by Parts Avatar, it still would have been cheaper. I'll definitely order from them again.
