Professional, essficient and fast, no job too hard, tidy and cleaned up any messes that the ‘junk’ made while moving it. Will be calling them again for other jobs.

I needed to dispose of some old deck lumber. I had already cut it into smaller pieces and filled about 15 heavy-duty but manageable bags, which I placed in my front yard. I checked various companies but 1 800 Rid-Of-It was the first to respond. They made booking an appointment easy over the phone. The truck arrived on schedule and the very polite operator loaded it up speedily. Everything sorted. No bother. And a fair price for a quarter truck load.

Rid of it is my go to junk removal service in the GTA! They have an excellent team, great customer service and speedy replies.

Deborah was excellent and responsive, answering my questions as I researched a company to remove boxes of donations and get rid of old furniture from a 2- bedroom condo. I decided to hire them and am happy I did so. They texted me before arrival on the day of, the two workers, Will and Vadim, were perfectly punctual. They were very careful when moving big couches to ensure they did not damage the ceiling lights and walls. They finished quickly, in 1 hour and were very pleasant. Highly recommend them to anyone. Reasonable price and excellent service.

A really quick sale of my late grandmother's house had me scrambling to have everything removed and cleaned prior to the closing date.

I hired this company on behalf of a disabled friend to clean out a 10x20 storage locker that was jam packed and very dirty with 7 years of accumulated dust, rodent droppings and pest control chemicals (Public Storage will NOT be getting a positive review from me).
Deborah, Rid-of-It’s Office Manager, was pleasant, helpful, and outstanding on follow ups.
Will and Vadim, the dream team below, worked non-stop for several hours, even taking one load to the dump and returning for a second load same day so I would not have to return another day to finish the job. Will is a master packer and Vadim is a super quick worker - they work well together as a team. They were friendly and did whatever was asked of them. It was a hot dirty day, and they were uncomplaining and pleasant until the very end.
I chose this company because they specifically mention storage locker clean out as a service. And now, my friend has piece of mind, no black cloud over her head, and a ridiculous amount of money back in her pocket every month.

I used their services for the first time recently when my father and I needed my mothers furniture disposed of.
The owner was very responsive, polite and so extremely kind.

Very happy with the team of Kevin and Vadim. They were courteous and did their best to be as quick as possible. It was not an easy feat as we have only 1 elevator in our apartment building. I really appreciated all the help and I would use them again.

I needed a large freezer removed from my home. It was a bit of an emergency. I emailed several companies. These guys responded much quicker than any of them. Thank you Deborah for the quick reply! She was helpful, cheerful and a pleasure to speak with. She sent Kevin and Everton out the same day. They showed up and got to work right away. The freezer was heavy on its own, but they managed to lift it up and into the back of the truck in no time. They were both professional and were pleasant as well. Needed 1-800-Rid-of-It in a crunch - and was given the next day/time I asked for. Super nice scheduling person and Kevin and Will kept me in the loop with ETA, arrived on time, and was in and out in in well under 20 minutes with that garbage job. Most excellent. Would highly recommend, especially if you need junk pickup in a crunch.
