My son has started his treatment which includes expanders on his upper teeth and Invisalign on his lower jaw. It was a tremendous relief for us to have this treatment plan- it saved my son from having to wear headgear all his waking hours and from another expander style that screws into bone instead of being fastened to teeth. Dr. Sama’s care and attention to detail has been amazing. We have been able to get our questions answered throughout the entire process. Overall an amazing experience with all staff at the office. My young daughter has needed a lot of dental work over the past year. 16 Mile Dental has been extremely patient and kind while working with us, to the point that she is often asking us when we can go back to the dentist! They pay attention to details, taking time to explain everything thoroughly.they take great care of their patients, always remembering to give my daughter stress balls to fidget with while they work on her. Dr Sama is very knowledgeable and personable, she takes her time explaining and answering patients questions and concerns. I don’t think I ever had to go back to her following a procedure to fix or redo the work. The staff also are all kind and friendly!

There is never an issue coming to 16 Mile Dental. Even with the impact of Covid over the last few years, there was no negative experience. Dr. Sama gets to know you and ensures you are satisfied. Nanda, the Hygienist did a thorough job on my cleaning, and also kept me informed throughout the procedure.

I am so incredibly happy I went to 16 Mile Dental! I had a huge fear of dentists due to some incidents that happened in my childhood/teen years and as such, avoided dentists for a very long time. I'm now in my 50s and as you can imagine, my teeth were not in the best shape. I asked for recommendations for a dentist after I broke two molars and knew I couldn't avoid going to a dentist any longer. Dr. Salim's name came up many times so I made the appointment. She was incredible. So caring and non-judgemental (I was very embarrassed at the state of my teeth). She came up with a plan for me (including fixing the molars) and made sure I was a part of the decision making process (i.e. For me, a few cosmetic things were higher on my list of priorities). Her team was incredibly compassionate and even held my hand when I was getting my mouth frozen for the work. I'm about halfway through everything I need done and I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Dr. Salim and staff for getting me smiling again.

I started attending 16 Mile Dental this year, after now being a client for almost a year, and many appointments (Cavities - Not just a kid thing apparently). The staff are very friendly and professional, the office is very clean, the tech seems to be top shelf. I would recommend 16 Mile Dental to anyone looking for a welcoming place, with friendly staff, and a very competent dentist. Honestly, it was the easiest freezing needle.ok, fine, needles, plural, because I had a few cavities, and it was the most pain free freezing I've had done.
I would also recommend to use them for your whole family. My 3 step-kids go there and they like the dentist and the other staff there. I really only started going after asking the opinion of 3 very honest young ones.

Everything is top notch about this clinic beginning from the front office to the dentist. On our very first visit I had the opportunity to observe an interaction between the front office and a gentleman who seemed to be a technician/contractor. The gentleman was offered a place to sit and even a glass of water while he was about to commence his work. Not many organizations are so courteous to contractors. A big shout out to the front office staff!

I saw a Facebook post someone posted looking for suggestions for a dentist in Oakville. Of the 25 recommendations made, 18 of them were for Dr. Salim and 16 Mile Dental. I immediately visited their website, as I have been extremely unhappy with my previous 2 dentists in Oakville, and have many years of horrible memories of dentists and orthodontists. I filled out their form asking for an appointment for a consultation on Thursday morning around 4am. I received a phone call from them at noon the same day, and was offered an appointment for the following day at 10am.

The staff was so warm and welcoming when I walked in. They made sure I was comfortable while I waited for Dr. Salim. Dr. Salim came out about 5 minutes later and introduced herself. First impression, she was so friendly and gracious that I chose to see her. I was immediately at ease and actually stopped dreading what I was doing.

The hygenist, Elizabeth, was one of the most kind people I have ever met! She made sure I understood everything she was doing and seeing. She gave me in-depth detail of the state of my mouth and things I should be doing to ensure the best dental health possible. The technology they use is state-of-the-art and shows everything down to the amount of pressure you exert when you bite down! I was amazed at how thorough they were! Elizabeth did my cleaning (which was long overdue) and noticed a small gesture I made indicating I was in pain. She immediately stopped and applied a topical numbing agent. The rest of the experience was painless!

I honestly couldn't be happier with the decision I made to see Dr. Salim. I have an appointment in a couple of weeks to have a cavity filled, and for the first time in my 36 years of life I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING TO THE DENTIST!

Dr. Sama Salim is the kindest most caring and gentle dentist I know! My previous dentist retired so I booked a few dental consult appointments, my choice was made instantly after meeting with her! My 3 year old son and I have been under her care for the last 2 years now and we couldn’t be more happy!
