Service was exceptional!

Only downfall is I found it a bit cold and missed seeing the fish in the aquarium

Went here to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. The staff was courteous and felt as if they were a part of the party. We had a nice area of the restaurant to ourselves. The food was great as well. I was quite impressed with their sides.

Attention to detail, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. If you haven’t tried here - you’re missing out on a delicious experience.

I went here for Mother’s Day with my family and we enjoyed every moment of it. Walking in, it looked really quiet but the decor was very classic, from carpeting to the paintings to the furniture.

Our server was amazing and his attention to detail was really impressive.

Food wise, everything we had was amazing and that’s really hard to say these days. It also all arrived in time which we were pleased with. It was well worth the price

Warm settings very cosy perfect for special occasions and even special events staff is very friendly and welcoming food was amazing!

My husband and I went for our 8 year anniversary. The gentleman that served us was very attentive and nice.
Food options could be better priced, an appetizer tempura shrimp is $40.00 I thought that was a bit excessive. We both ordered steak with the twice baked potato, the potato wasn't edible the worse I have ever tasted the server brought it back at the end we asked for the bill and to my surprise the baked potato I ordered but didn't eat was still on the bill? Wasn't the worse experience I've had but I definitely wouldn't go back. For the price I'd rather go to Ruth Chris.

I went there for my wifes birthday and all the food was really good, the mushroom risotto is really really good as well as the Alberta beef mmmm so freaking good, the wine and atmosphere, the waiter was soo nice and had a great sense of humor, the sparkling watter and the wine Moscato I believe it was all really really good. I recomend this place 1000%.

The steaks they have are amazing, very fresh oysters. I am usually not a fan of risotto but their mushroom risotto is so tasty!

I personally worked here as a server. And I for one can tell you not to work here or to come visit for dinner/lunch.

Management was the worst I’ve ever seen or experienced. Owner owns sugar daddies next door and goes there for drinks and to party. The food is good, but the management will make you want to stay away from this place.

We are visiting from Missouri and this meal the best we have had on trip. The food and service was fabulous. The bass was delicious, and the risotto was so delicious.

Staff do not wear masks at the bar and when people are not near.

They are a steak house: get their lamb and stake (and maybe the scallops), everything else is mediocre at best.

It was the perfect charred steak i loved it! Also they served the real Caesar salad which was a bit on salty side but lemon helped to neutralize the saltiness tho.
Too bad i didnt take photos this time but i was impressed for sure. This place is going to be my go to steakhouse for sure from now on.

110% the best steak I've ever had. Better than salt baes Nusr-Et restaurant in the USA. I got 8oz wagyu and it was very very fairly priced. Mac and cheese was also delicious!

Just had a group of 20 people for dinner and my group cannot stop thanking me for such a great dining experience. This place never disappoints. Our server Julia was awesome. Thank you Victor and Staff.

Probably some of the most delicious food I've ever had. My only issue would be the parking in that plaza but it's worth the struggle.

Will never return. Walked in to get a table for 2. Lady at the bar asked if we had reservations, I replied no. Then a male worker says well we r not accepting walk ins in the rudest tone ever. Meanwhile the bar area was completely empty with about 50 open seats! Never ever

The restaurant is beautiful, I loved the decor and ambiance. Now on to the food and wine, I enjoyed a lovely glass of moscato, the wine was quite responsibly priced, $11 for 6 oz was pretty good compared to the overpriced food. Now on to the food, the fresh bread was great! The fries were good but I mean, fries are pretty easy. I ordered the chicken, from the moment the chicken placed in front of me I knew I couldn’t eat it just from the smell, it’s was a scent that tickled my gag reflex, I decided to try anyway considering I’d be spending $36, for an undercooked, under seasoned piece of chicken breast and boneless thigh, the menu said half chicken but there was no leg, I guess chicken legs are too low class to serve as a part of a half chicken at this fancy steakhouse. The chicken lacked flavour, and the texture made it evident it needed another 5 minutes on the grill. At least half my group ordered the chicken and not 1 person could eat it, we didn’t bother to complain because we got the feeling it was better to pack it up take it home and finish cooking it ourselves. I also ordered the Mac and Cheese, for $22 it was mostly dry Mac and very limited cheese, by far the worst Mac and Cheese I’ve had at a restaurant.
Others in my group had Steak, 2 of the fish dishes on the menu, the fish was ok, they were the edible meals in our group. It was a nice evening out but I would not return or recommend this restaurant, for the menu prices everything should be delectable. I had such high hopes with all these great reviews, maybe there’s a new chef, who knows but what I do know is I’d never return or recommend this place, there are far better options at this price point and even better at lower price points.

Caesar salad was very good. Steak was risotto was good. Rapini was bland and locked spice. Roasted cauliflower was also bland and locked spice. Brussel sprouts could have used a little more seasoning.
Server was pleasant and efficient but it was apparent that they were short-staffed.
Decor was a little bit outdated.
Menu was somewhat pricey ($700 for three people)
Overall a good experience and I would go back.

Very expensive. 4oz wagyu steak was $40/per oz. It was my first time trying wagyu and it definitely did taste great but I was expecting more marbling on the steak.
The mushroom risotto was really good.
My friends had the US Prime steak and they enjoyed it as well. The desserts weren’t overly impressive. Nothing special.
Overall the food was great. I’ll most likely not return simply because of the price and value.

The girl at the bar was very friendly and was very quick with the drinks. Great service, they were able to accommodate 7 of us without any reservations. However, the drinks are quite pricey.

We went there for friends birthday. From the beginning we were treated like royalty. The server was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. He came many times to check on us. We ordered scallops and oysters for starters. Both were delicious and done to perfection. Maybe I would hold off on salt. The main courses - rack of lamb, Arctic char and risotto were absolutely delicious and served beautifully. I ordered souvinion blanc with my fish, but it was not the best. The dessert and coffee were perfect. We spend few hours at the restaurant, we felt looked after, amazing service and attentiveness. Thank you to the manager and Miles for making our celebration unforgettable. Will recommend the place to all my foodie friends.

Exceptional restaurant. I experienced 17 Steakhouse for the first time last winter during a business dinner.

I returned this time my family to celebrate my son's 21st birthday.

My son and I both had Alberta sirloin. Served blue and rare they were cooked to perfection.

Asparagus, broccoli, fried calamari and Rissoto were added to the meal.

I would return just to eat risotto and nothing else. It is some beyond flavour. It's literally an experience to eat.

Our service was second to none. Julie our server and the host ensured our glasses were never empty.

Nice atmosphere and beautiful decor.customer service was horrible.no engagement whatsoever with the customer. They just want your order and your money. I order chops of lambs and it took well over an hour to come in.an 1hour 15 mins to be precise.when I decided I didn’t want the food no more, because I’m black they brought a black manager to come talk to me and try to convince me to pay for the food I had been waiting over an hour for. (red flag).

Highly professional and attentive staff. Wonderful presentation and food (look how they did with the lemon to catch the seeds!) Love the sear scallop and brussels sprout.

Everything about the experience was exceptional. Amazing ambiance, friendly staff, top quality food, healthy portion sizes. The washrooms were beautiful and clean. Looking forward to the next visit. Would love to hold an event here, there's a second floor for private parties. If you're looking for a beautiful venue, a date night out, or just a place to have a damn good meal.this is it!

I recommend dinning at 17, the staff are amazing, everything is clean and sanitised. The steaks are the best I've ever had, o havent tried everything on the menu but from what I have tried I believe everything will be amazing.

Terrible service, long wait for the food. Ordered a medium steak, it was raw. Refer to picture. Still got charged for it after bringing it to managers attention. Won’t be back.

The service we had tonight was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced in a long time. I can go on and on but all we will get is a reply from the owner or management whom we already spoke to and did nothing. Will never come back here again. Food was not good.

Amazing steak! Perfectly charred on the outside and tender and juicy in the inside. Definitely a meal full of flavor paired with the attentive service from our server, Danny. Came here for my one-year anniversary, and the experience did not disappoint. However, due to COVID, they did not have candles on the table. Otherwise, it could have been a perfect ambiance

Came here for dinner with my family last night and we were extremely let down by the customer service provided to us. There were several large parties and we understand that with staff shortages, service can run behind. However, we didn’t receive our appetizers until at least 1.5 hours after being seated. Our waitress was great but often times, she would have to rush away, to help the other staff, including while taking our order (as per the instruction of someone, you could hear them yelling her name while taking our order). After three attempts, we finally had our order taken. Our meals arrived and the food was just okay. After waiting so long to eat, we were just happy to have some food. We wanted to talk to the manager about an issue with one of our meals and her lack of compassion or even empathy for the situation blows my mind. Not once did we get an apology or maybe a solution to the sub par menu item or at the minimum, for the extremely slow service and wait time. We were coming for a special occasion which we mentioned twice and even that was not recognized. Will not be returning again.

Please if there was a zero star I would give this place that rating.
We walked In with our family and no server came by to take our order. We waited trying to ask for help, waited 20 minutes at our table and ended up leaving because the place was empty but no service.
Customer Service is really bad here. When requested to speak to someone the manager started arguing about the time frame.

Food was good an server's were helpful, however, they were out of about half the items on the already small menu and my table waited over 45 minutes for our appetizers and about 2 hours for our entrees, the restaurant was dead so theirs no excuse for the food taking so long, if I'm spending over $250 on a meal I expect quality experience and I can honestly say the long wait time really ruined mine and my party's dinner. Only reason I gave the 2 stars was because the food was good once it came out, another side note two guys at my table ordered the prime rib, one seemed to be what was advertised at about 38 Oz but the other cut was significantly smaller, and after the 2 hour wait for our food he did not feel like arguing over it, honestly a let down and will not be back again

My wife and I had an awesome night here for our anniversary. In my opinion the best steak-house in the GTA! Steaks were top-notch quality. Sides were also VERY delicious - we had the Mushroom Risotto, and the Roasted Cauliflower Blue cheese Gratin. Big shout-out to our server Danny, who was very professional, accommodating and provided us with a very relaxed and enjoyable experience! Definitely will be back again, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a high class fine dining experience, and to impress those you bring as well.

Us farmers love steak and we have had our share of good meat. However this place, the steak is out of this world, tender, melt in your mouth goodness. The sauce also an excellent creation that makes your taste buds dance with joy. Thank you to all the staff at 17 Steakhouse for your great service with joy. What more could you ask for?

Wow! We didn't know they had a beautifully decorated outdoor area in the back with large umbrellas and cushioned seats. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. We were treated so well and we loved our experience at 17 Steakhouse and Bar.

The team here is amazing, and so is the overall atmosphere. I’ve been a regular at 17 for over 5years now and sometimes I will go 2-3 times in one week. Vic and his team are great! The food is good, and the deserts is the real reason I keep coming back. That coconut cream pie is the best thing ever!

We were together with a girlfriend! It's just a rarity to hear this-delight. Well, the kitchen, the interior, of course, is also on top, we will definitely come again!

Ahi tuna was delicious. The combination of spice and mango created a nice balance. I expected the US ribeye to be better, for $52. Some parts were undercooked. Definitely had better. The coconut cream pie was amazing. Made fresh in house. Pretty cool. Seating, decor and service was really good, although the age of the restaurant is starting to show. $35.00 cork fee is outrageous.

This truly a Hidden Gem! Excellent decor and ambience, friendly staff and delicious food. The scallops are to die for and the steak just melts in your mouth. Restrooms are extremely clean and well kept. Has a 400 capacity banquet hall above the restaurant along with private dining areas that seat 20 in thr main dining area. Has a wall that consists of a huge fish tank as part of the decor. Has a Pianist that peforms on the weekends (not sure if its winters only). Give your regular chain Steak houses a miss and try this place instead.

I was there with some colleagues for a vendor Lunch & Learn. The food was absolutely delicious! The steak juicy and grilled to perfection. They have this side of sauteed brussel sprouts that was amazing.

The meal itself was good reason to note this as a 'Must Return' spot. But add to that spectacular service and it's a 3 out of 2 Thumbs Up!

I was blown away at how good the Ribeye was. Also I found the caesar salad to be the best in the GTA. I've literally been to every steakhouse in the city and I found this place is by far the best. Wish I discovered them a few years ago.

Bbq tonight is a good resturant. Service hosted by sheru was superb whereas food quality and quantity was superb. They just need to work on their shahi tukra.

Yes, a little more pricey than Chop or the Keg, but worth it. Since we were celebrating our anniversary they brought us a complimentary dessert to share that was delicious and a very thoughtful touch. We will definitely come back for our next special occasion!

I love this place. Once you take a foot inside, you completely forget about the location. The decor is beautiful and the food is amazing. I was very impressed with the steak I got. The staff was also very friendly. I kept changing the amount of people for my reservations and the staff was very understanding of it. They gave a private room (free of charge) to accommodate for the amount of people I had. They also gave us to option of choosing from the lunch menu at dinner. It's a bit pricey, but there are some cheap options on the menu!

With some live music this place will surely make your weekend and evening.

This restaurant was horrible. We were there for my friends birthday dinner. The service was the worse I've ever had. We waited 3.5 hrs for our food to come and when the food came it was horrible. The chicken was dry and the mash potatoes wasn't good either. We complained to the manager about the service we received and he was very rude. He didn't care about our complaints and didn't do anything to accommodate for the service and bad food we received. The price of the food was unreasonable for the quality of food and service we received from this restaurant. I would never recommend this place for anyone especially if you're celebrating a birthday.

From start to finish, this establishment was superb! We went here to celebrate my wife's birthday and I had my 4 and 7 year old kids in tow. At first I thought this place was probably a bit too fancy for family dining but the level of comfort and respect we received is the first reason why we'll be coming back! The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and it carries itself quite respectfully. Or server was pleasant catering to it children's needs which provided my wife and I an opportunity to have a romantic family dinner. Our streak dinners were perfectly cooked and the kids fully enjoyed their generous portions of chicken strips and fries! If you're a parent or parental figure like myself, then you'll definitely agree that if your kids are happily satisfied; so will you! We choose the mushroom risotto and the maple bacon brussel sprouts. My mouth is still watering from just thinking about them. These side portions are super generous and are enough for 3 to 4 people too share, based on Keg-like standards. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we were treated to a delicious New York style cheese cake and it's presentation was outstanding! My kids were we're popping out of their heads when the manager brought out the dessert with beautiful chocolate script reading happy birthday and it had pyrotechnics! A little fireworks like sparkler adorned it which in my opinion, just blew my kids away! From start to finish, our experience at 17 Steakhouse and Bar was fantastic and I highly recommend you experiencing why this restaurant was awarded the best Steakhouse in Mississauga. Thank you to our server and the rest of staff at the restaurant for making our experience such a memorable one. I can't wait to bring the rest of my family here for future dinners and celebrations!
