No nonsense. In and out, didn't upsell, told me everything I needed to know if return was needed. And they have higher end stuff in there you won't get on mail order sites

Conveniently located and friendly staff while I was there. Hours a little limited but they Have some items one can't get elsewhere.

Lots of parking also

Great experience purchasing stereo receiver and tower speakers. The sales rep, Ash, was very pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. Went back a few days later to purchase a sub woofer, had two different reps and they were excellent as well. Thank you.

I walked in and asked the guy at counter if he could come out and see what i have as my cars radio deck and reccomend an upgrade, he stayed behind the counter, gave me a card and told me to call them instead. Chrysler 200 btw. Not helpful at all will not be coming back.

I called to inquire about a Yamaha CD600 5 disc player a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the sales rep I spoke to. All I can say is that he answered my questions about the unit, he told me the number of units the company had in stock and also told me who I could contact to possibly repair my CD645.

I did take my unit to Yamaha Canada who verified the unit that is now 25 years old cannot be fixed. However, I will be buying a CD600 from 2001 AudioVideo because of the excellent service I received.

We would not recommend the Barrie location.

We recently purchased a new TV. Upon install, the unit was malfunctioning. We returned it to the store. After discussing with the Sales Associate, the Manager was consulted. It was determined the screen was damaged and immediately implicated we were the cause. We experienced a very negative attitude. There was no further effort to resolve. We have been left feeling very disillusioned given the company's mission statement of providing customers with the best service and courteous sales people.

Ash was great. We bought a 75" TV at a great price. He also assisted us with delivery. Great product support too.

Purchased an LG tv 1 year ago. The tv died 1 week after the manufacturers warranty. We also had purchased the stores added insurance.

They sent a repair technician and the part needed was on back order for 8 weeks.

To my big surprise they gave us a brand new LG TV so that we would not wait 8 weeks for the repair.

It’s our second TV purchase from them and I will go back again. Why shop anywhere else.

The first experience was alright when we initially ordered three products. The entire ordeal of trying to get what we had ordered was the problem. We had to call them almost a month after ordering (at ordering they said 3-5 days) to be told it wasn't there yet but that the manager was picking it up that day so it should be in by the next day. 2 weeks after that we went in the store to cancel the order and were told that we had paid in cash and that because of that they can't refund it in the store, cash refunds come in cheque form from head office and take up to a week to get to the customer. A bank account is not needed to gain possession of cash, how can they insist on a refund in cheque form when the payment was made in cash. This is absolutely atrocious customer service and management. The manager, who we spoke to was incredibly rude. I will never be going back to this establishment as they can't even be bothered to refund your money in the same form in which you paid originally. They do not take cheques as payment but expect customers to accept cheques as refund, when the company won't take cheques as payment.

I was disappointed by 2001 Audio. Living in Sudbury, all we have is a Best Buy and a Bianco's store that is awfully located. I went to this 2001 Audio Video store for the first time and I was blown away by how boring the store was. Prices were high (higher than Best Buy), product selection was dismal and there really wasn't any reason for me to consider buying anything there. Its too bad all the good brick and mortar tech stores are dying and we are stuck with the boring ones like this place and Canada Computers.
