Our favourite restaurant in Ottawa! Always great deals, amazing bear, very friendly crew. Highly recommend

The music was a bit annoying and the service was average, but the food is solid and priced right. The European theme and range of great drinking food like German style sausage is pretty awesome. I would definitely come back here for a night out drinking or to passively watch a game over some beers with friends.
The beer is good too.

My family really likes this chain, and we try to visit every time we come from BC. This time I I stalled the app and got $5 off. Not a lot, but a good touch. I was pleasantly surprised, as some prices haven't changed a lot since my last visit 6 months ago. The food and service were great. My kids really enjoyed it. What did I like the most? Traditional Sauerkraut meal ($19.75) is a pretty good size. It consists of smoked oktoberfest and toulouse sausages, grilled black forest ham, and served with beer-marinated sauerkraut and potatoes. For $2 extra, you can add half a pint of beer. My son ordered their ice tea, and it was amazing (non alcoholic). The cocktails were pretty good, and you could actually taste alcohol unlike in many other places. I would definitely come back. Our total bill without tips was $140 for 3 adults and 1 child.

Not normally a big fan of fish and chips but this was so good that I will make a point of returning next time in town.
Happened to be dining on the patio while the fireworks competition was held so the noise was jarring but the display was beautiful.

Worst service ever! Will not be coming back. Waited 20mins before anyone came to see me at my table. The table facing me sat down and was served immediately. Wow very poor service. Still waiting for my beer. Not sure when my food will arrive. Looked like a fun place to come. Guess not.

Service was PERFECT! The place is very nice, was not crowded when we came today!
The food is supper delicious (kids pizza is too small so you might consider the normal pizza instead. However it comes with fries and sweets)

Great food. Great beer. Solid service. Perfect for the after work get together if you work downtown.

Made a reservation online and was given the option of patio so we chose that. Arrived and were told there were no patio tables, despite seeing at least 5 on quick scan and that it's not possible to make patio reservations. Once seated we placed our orders and requested our starters and kids food to come at the same time. Waited about 30 mins for food which was fine, only to have our meals, not the kids or starters come. When we questioned where the starters and kids food was we were met with confusion and not really caring. Food itself was good, but service was poor.

The service was great and they had nice vegetarian options, including all the shareables and even the poutine!

Server staff had good communications on orders during lunch rush and enjoyed the patio. Good lunch destination, usually busy so plan ahead or arrive a bit early or make a reservation if you are a larger group.

Amazing food, and good service. I ordered the Philly Poutine, which was surprisingly good! It was my first time trying poutine, and I was massively pleased. The hot dog is also very good. I docked a point due to the very exorbitant prices. Great place!

Ordered french dip and so far it's the best in the city.
The food came to the table incredibly quickly.
Server Chris came by with a sample of a beer before finishing my current beer I was asking about at beginning of order, first time I've ever experienced that. The dude's top notch.
A great place would come back.

Ordered Chorizo, white beer, Safire cocktail, all tastes great. The marinate on Chorizo could be fresher.

Great food and service- especially liked the blueberry pie dessert! Tasted freshly made!

La bière est bonne, le steak du burger un peu cuit.dommage car l'ensemble est plutôt bien. Le rapport qualité/quantité/prix est bien!

Lovely to sit outside in the shade and enjoy good beer, wine and food in the quiet pedestrian zone
We have been in Montreal and now in Ottawa.
The pork shank is amazing as well as the tuna tartare.
Watch out for the several specials each weekday
On Sunday the wine by bottle is half price and a pitcher $13
