When you make a decision to choose a contractor, you never really know what you’re going to get. Even with great reviews like 4Sons already has, there is an element of risk, and as the consumer you spend the first little bit with fingers crossed, hoping you made a good choice.

From the first day I met Jerimiah and Hugo I just “had a good feeling” about them and this company. And wow was I ever right.

We hired 4 Sons Concrete Design to pour a couple of concrete pads in our back yard along with a low retaining wall. All aspects of the job went beautifully from the excavation to the final product, with one little hiccup which I’ll get to later. This team truly strives for perfection, and solidly achieves it on all fronts. From the way they put down 4x8 sheets of plywood across the grass to avoid damaging it (and picking them up overnight each time), to the way they cleaned up at the end of every day – including sweeping and putting all their tools and equipment neatly arranged on one corner of the yard, removing all their own empty water bottles and lunch wrappers etc.

The work itself was exactly as discussed, with the proper amount of stone compacted twice, the proper depth of concrete, and excellent smooth surface finishing. On the first day while the team was excavating I unfortunately could not be on site, but they called me a number of times to ask for clarification on exact location of the slabs, how the retaining wall should be located, and a few other design considerations. I’m very thankful that this company has the high attention to detail that they have as it turned into an excellent job all around.

The neighbours even commented how well the team interacted with them – they had to ask a couple of folks to move their cars so they could get their big dump truck or trailer in place.

And the team. SO hard working. No sitting around, no impression of laziness at all, and all seem to be skilled in their trade. And all friendly and nice, and some of them even singing and joking around a bit which makes for a high performing team who obviously enjoy their work, and perfection.

One part of the job didn’t go quite perfectly (it’s hard to have a perfect job every time, of course!) – and that was a bit too much ponding along the retaining wall. The owner did not try to make excuses, did not try to get out of fixing the problem, and was here for hours and has totally and completely made it right. That’s the sign of a highly professional company, and one I would very gladly do business with again. I would refer 4 Sons to my neighbours and friends without any hesitation at all.

The very worst part of this entire job is that their beautiful work will end up being mostly covered by the time we’re all done. So sad.

We called 4 sons for a quote on a walkway and a pad and let them know we had used them before for our entire driveway and back patio and more. So we are returning customers looking for a quote. The owner Jerimiah showed up and took measurements and told me the quote would be in in a few days which it did. This is where all communication with him and there office staff stopped. I called the owner twice and left messages and I called the office twice and left messages as well. All I wanted was for them to book me in.thats all. No return calls. My guess is that they quoted me and than changed there minds and didnt want to bother doing it. $9500 job must mean nothing anymore. A call back to a customer thats you have given a quote to does not take much to do but I guess alot for them.

They did an amazing job! Very helpful in the design process and attention to detail. The crew worked well and were respectful of all my neighbours as well. We have had many compliments on all aspects of their work. The crew worked like crazy, very impressed on their work ethic and nice crew. I recommend 4 Sons and would use them for any future work.

Four Sons Concrete came and did my driveway and along the side of my house 3 weeks ago we are very pleased with Jeremiah and his crew they are very detailed at their work and worked efficiently. Jeremiah answered all our questions that we had and kept us posted on what was next. When the job was done they cleaned everything washed my concrete left the place looking clean. 5+! We had 4 Sons do our driveway a couple of years ago and we were extremely pleased. We didn't hesitate to call them again when we wanted a new patio for our backyard. Jeremiah did a good job on our driveway. We had to be patient to park on the driveway for the first week because of the excessive heat. After a few weeks the driveway is now solid and cured. A good job was done and the price was very fair. I would recommend "4 Sons" to anyone interested in driveway paving.

Did my parents driveway, did a great job. However they said they would be back to seal the driveway. Didn’t return when they said they would. After 4 months of phone calls and messages they finally came. They never returned their calls. Poor customer service in my opinion.
Had a few people I recommended them to that again they never returned any calls or messages.
I get you can get busy but really, at least provide customer service. Finished product can be amazing but if you can’t even provide basic customer service it’s not worth it.

4 sons did a fabulous job in our backyard. We have hired them twice and they have exceeded expectations every time. If you want concrete, these are the guys to hire hands down.

They just did our backyard patio expansion and we could not be happier with their work! We absolutely love our new patio! They were very detailed oriented, made sure everything was perfect, cleaned up after themselves and very professional. They even put up plastic so not to splash any concrete where it wasn't supposed to go. Great prices too. Would highly recommend them. In fact, my neighbor has already hired them to do their patio after seeing the great work they did on mine!

HEADACHE FOR THOSE WHOSE NEIGHBOURS CONTRACTED THIS COMPANY
My neighbours hired them to do their driveway. They put their materials on our lawn, cut our shrub without asking, left the clippings (together with our neighbours' branches) on our lawn, left plastic bottle, left our neighbours' old fence, all on our lawn. The list goes on. Put heavy cover on our plants, damaging some leaves, tread on our lawn, walked with their wheelbarrow on our lawn. Were going to have picnic on our lawn, but I stopped them before that. At the end, I had to clear out the clippings of OUR shrub, and pushed all the rest to our neighbours' side after 2 weeks, since no one did anything.
