We just had our old RO drinking unit changed to K-A200 RO Reverse Osmosis Drinking System. Right from the start talking to Darryl (sales personal) who was honest and helpful, Laura (office personal) was very friendly setting up appointment, Richu Saj (technician) was very friendly and knowledgeable, he did a great job. We had a new soft water system installed today by 5 Star Water Solutions. Andrew was the nicest technician I've ever had come to the house. He showed up within the agreed upon time window. He explained what he would need to do and asked if I had any questions. He was very thoughtful in regards to installation and replacing the drainage pipe. The install went very quickly and he made sure to explain the new water softener and answer any questions I had before he left. He was very kind and thoughtful through the whole process. Will definitely come back for my next water softener.

Earlier this week I approached 5 star to test well water from a rural property. Sam was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to put my concerns at ease. Not only did he run a few water quality tests in house - He took the time to explain the water chemistry and sent the water sample off-site for more thorough analysis! Its rare to find such genuine customer service and attention to detail!

I received prompt and efficient service on a 20+ year old Kinetico water softener. And I was pleased to learn that I merely needed service on this reliable old unit rather than having to replace it.

We moved into our house earlier this year and found an old and broken water softener system. 5 Star Water Solutions was professional and timely with providing us a quote, and when they came to install it was quick, simple and easy. The installation staff explained the entire system, outlined the work done and provided information on what services needed care and when. We've had the softener for over 6 months now and love the Kinetico system and have been very pleased with the work completed. I would highly recommend them for your water softener needs.

I upgraded my old water softener to a Kinetico system at 5 Star Water a couple years ago and it has performed very well. Our area has particularly hard water, and the Kinetico has made a positive difference. Clay from 5 Star went above and beyond this year, helping us out during a filter change. And everytime I've called or gone in, the staff have been friendly, professional, and helpful. Recommended.

Called the office Monday, November 15,2021 requesting a service call for the Kinetico water softener (bought on August 27,2014). I was informed that a service man would be at our house two days later (Wednesday, November 17,2021) between 12: 30 PM and 1: 30 PM. Greg Montgomery came at 12: 30 PM, checked and serviced the water softener, and left at 1: 30 PM. Greg was efficient & friendly. I was pleased that he came at 12: 30 PM and that it took only an hour.

You can refill 24/7, you can purchase coins a $2 per five gallon 18.9Ltr, I have been coming here for the past year water always tastes consistently unlike other places where they vary in test no chlorine test in this water ever in the past one year I highly recommend them even for your home water softeners and water purifying system and reverse osmosis they got it all in this shop, the other important factor it's how they treat you as a customer, they are very respectful and eager to help you. Andrew our tech was awesome! Knowledgeable and helpful he showed me how to change the filter on our water system and was fast snd efficient. He cleaned the old canister ensuring it worked properly and avoided having to replace the canister. Saving us extra charges. Honest and reliable! I highly recommend 5 star!

Amazing service, Clay was very professional and very knowledgeable and he solved problems with both the water softening system and the water purification systems others were not able to solve.

Our Kinetico Mach Series 2040 water softener began having water pressure issues. The original retailer who sold us this unit told us that it would have to be replaced entirely and not just the single part which was broken.

We wanted a second opinion and contacted Sam at 5 Star Water Solutions, he alleviated all our concerns and informed us that indeed the single broken part could be replaced instead of trying to sell us a whole new unit.

We highly recommend 5 Star Water Solutions and they will continue to have our business again in the future for any water softener needs including salt, filters, parts and water.

Great product, fast install. I had a *very* minor leak on the softener brine line which just needed a quick turn to tighten. I called them on a weekend and my call was returned within an hour by the actual gent that installed my system. Great to talk to on the phone as well. Definitely recommend.

What a great group of people. Sam helped us in the showroom to learn all about the system we were buying. Just five days later, the installers worked well and efficiently to get my new water softener on-line.
Now I get to enjoy the soft water from my great Kinetico Signature water softener system. Saving money all the way, using less salt, wasting less water and using no electricity! Maybe the best part is the Cats don't get woken by that old system recharging in the middle of the night. This new system is SO quiet! All that and GREAT for the environment too!

I contacted 5 Star Water Solutions because I was encountering a problem with my Kinetico Reverse Osmosis system.
The dealer that I was dealing with for the past 15 years was not providing the satisfactory assistance that I required.
From the minute that I contacted 5 Star's service manager, I had nothing short of total confidence and trust in what they advised.
I next contacted Sam (owner) and he provided me with numerous options to correct my problem, ranging from service to replacement.
There was no pressure to go with the most expensive option and most importantly, Sam truly listened to my concerns and questions.
It was determined that the most feasible and economical resolution to my problem would to replace my outdated system.
And in doing so, a number of further options were presented and explained, allowing me to make a fully informed, comfortable and confident choice.
Follow up conversations were equally welcomed and after sale customer service was excellent.

I found the level of service from my first contact with Sam in sales to the final installation exceptional. Sam was very helpful in explaining the benefits of the Kinetico system and answered any questions I had while doing my online research. The installer did an excellent job with no mess left behind.

We purchased a Kinetico reverse osmosis system about 17 years ago. I used a TDS meter to check the RO system and realized the membrane was done. I then called 5Starwater about repairs. Sam told me the unit could be repaired, but a better option would be to replace the unit. I decided to buy a new system. The installation was done well and Sam's discussion with me was thorough. Last fall, our softener unit was not working well. Again, the options were discussed and I decided that a rebuild was the way to go. The technician Clay was very knowledgeable and removed the unit. We purchased the Kinetico K5 Drinking Water Station and we are very pleased with our drinking water. 5 Star Water Solutions are very professional; they were on time for our appointments and their installer did a great job of installing the product. I had never heard of 5 Star until I went to Costco. I was quickly connected with Darryl. He is a very honest and hardworking Sales Rep. Excellent communication skills too. Installation person, Clay was fantastic as well. We had a very difficult installation setup but he was determined and successful. Very happy with 5 Star!

With only a year in at our new dormitory to our private boarding school, the extremely hard water had wrecked havoc on much of our new commercial grade equipment, even to the point of rendering our commercial dishwasher almost unusable. Was here to upgrade my older system up to the K5 system while repacking the carbon and resin beds for the water softener. Everything went well and i'm quite happy with the Kinetico buy back of my old system. The only down side is I don't think my system was set up for my water hardness correctly as the water still feels quite hard. Just not worth the service call to get it set right. Other than that its the best product on the market and Kinetico is the water treatment supplier at my Toyota plant. Kinetico user since 2002

Very poor sales and communication with Sammy re: Kinetico water softeners. Given my strong interest in a particular Kinetico product, he did everything to convince me not to get that one (of course the other units were more expensive). Didn’t grasp homeowner specs and future needs and when I’d ask a question he’d discuss something entirely different. Asked bizarre personal questions that I had to tell him should be asked differently (e.g, was I planning to enlarge my family, was I married, how many children do I have). Said I’d make a decision by a certain date, he promised to call and I heard 2 weeks later. Decided to go with a different unit and if it didn’t work, then I’d be interested in a Kinetico. He was aggressive about my choice and when I said I wasn’t willing to discuss my decision and he’d lost a potential customer he continued to ram his opinion. Waste of 2 hours of my time. Kinetico, you need better distributors/sales!

My skin reacts to hard water and Waterloo Region has an abundance of hardness in the water. Met with Sam and Greg and spoke to Ross on the phone. They provided the best service and solution for my needs in a professional and timely matter. Very happy with my purchase. 5 Star Water Solutions gets 5 stars!

I contacted 5 Star Water due to our hard water and issues with chloramine (Kitchener uses this instead of chlorine). They came out and tested the water, which supported our concerns and we went ahead with the water softener, chloramine remover, and reverse osmosis system. The water does not smell like chlorine, our appliances do not have scale on them, and beverages like tea, tastes way better. We also noticed a big difference using the shower and have less skin irritation. I recommend that you contact this company as they are friendly and efficient.

I needed a new water softener and iron filter. Service in store was great! Install arrived on date and time as scheduled and the technician was awesome and really knew his stuff. Would highly recommend them! Even gave me a good deal on the units.
