5K Foam Fest

Lack of information was the reason for my rating. The waking pathways between obstacles were ridiculously long, every one needed to walk a lot to reach to the next obstacles. There wasn’t such information provided before. Mentioning that it was too hot that day and maybe better to book earlier in the morning. Unfortunately there was no information on the booking or tickets about wearing shoes. There was not many drink stations and no toilets. Some of the obstacles were really fun and we did them a few times. Overally, it was fine but I won’t recommend.

Was a great event. Certainly got down and dirty.
Could have been more shade. Also lines to obstacles were occasionally long; could look into expanding the width of obstacles.

Our team had so much fun! It was our first foam fest and it was a great experience. It was just challenging enough without being too difficult, the weather was perfect and it was all around a great day!

Some positive notes include it being: A fun party atmosphere, manageable for most athletic levels, well organized, and most importantly, a very memorable time!

I wasn't able to make it, but my husband, son and niece went and they had a blast! I am hoping to go next year and join in the foamy fun too!

My boyfriend and I did the 2023 run and—despite the rain and extra mud that came with it (and my inability to jog as fast as him) —we had a blast. The foam at the beginning and end had to be 5 feet taller than me and the obstacles were both tricky and fun! Would definitely recommend doing it with family or friends to add to the fun! I would’ve enjoyed having the obstacles spaced out a little more instead of all at the end but it made getting to the end that much better!

It was my second 5k foam fest and i can't wait to go again. I think it's well organized and fun. 2024 I'll be there

We had such a blast! Everything ran smoothly from parking to registration to the actual race! My 8 year old conquered her fears and bravely slid herself down the big water slide! - She can't wait to do it again next year! Thanks for a great family run this year!

Attended this year with my husband and 14 year old son. We had a lot of fun and got muddy and foamy. I admit that the giant slide was terrifying to climb up. I was a bit disappointed that the towel I purchased ended up as the same design as what I got last year. Love the action pics taken through the course.

Great event, my team and I had an amazing time, would definitely do again with more friends!

Absolutely awesome day shared with amazing people. Fun, laughter and our mental health covered in a day. Organization was of high standard and proceeds to a worthy charity.

I went to 5K Foam Fest in Brisbane 2022 and it was totally amazing! It got me hooked on doing more fun run events that include obstacles and mud pits. I will definitely be back to Brisbane to do it all again!

My daughter and I have now done Foamfest twice! Once in Uxbridge (Toronto) and Paris (Kitchener) and we definitely preferred the Kitchener one without all the ski hills! I'd love to see far more foam stations than what was available last summer in Paris (Kitchener) as there were only 2 for the entire run.
We definitely want to go again though!

This was my first Foam Fest and hopefully not my last. I went with my cousin and we had a blast. Would be even better with a bigger group. There were nice stretches to run or walk and the obstacles were a good mix for everyone. Have recommended to those I have spoken to about it.

We had an excellent time at foam fest! It was very well organized and the variety in the obstacles was also great! We have been talking about it ever since and we will go back for sure! Thanks for making it such a memorable experience!

Most fun ever. This year was even better as water was not ice cold like usual. That was awesome. Will go to these every year. So much fun and for an amazing cause. Thank uou

The 5K Foam fest was amazing I loved the different obstacles and I had amazing time. I will be back next yeah I do not just have one favourite obstacle course I liked them all.

First time doing this. Wow what a workout! So much fun definitly challenges you but feels pretty good when you see the finish line. That slide at the end terrifying but awesome! Will definitly do it again. Thanks

What an amazing experience and for such a great cause! This event was well run and held in such a wonderful place. The run was fun! The obstacles were fairly easy and there was lots of foam! I would highly recommend booking an early run time because it got very busy around noon and onwards. Always bring a change of clothes, lots of water and sun screen! Those are highly recommended. There is no feeling like accomplishing a fun run for such a wonderful cause.

We had an amazing time! It was very well organized, ran smoothly and tons of fun on the course. I loved the pictures they provided as well (maybe we can have more next year:). Definitly gonna be back next year!

Had a total blast. Couldn't run all of it but no one pressured you and they cheered when you made it through any of the hard obstacles. Definitely returning next year!

Not impressed. Not enough foam at all. Obstacles should be more challenging and have foam and or mud. Too much walking in between obstacles. Over priced for what we experienced. Parking should be free aswell. Definitely not suggesting to try.

Very fun race, I will definitely do it again! Family friendly, non-competitive environment is great for big groups and all ages!

Very well organized and good variety of obstacles and amazing amount of foam! Such good camaraderie along the course! Would recommend this to beginners and those up for more of a challenge!

Our group really enjoyed the day. The course had a lot of great obstacles. Appreciate the photos captured by the photographers throughout the course. My only complaint is the waiting in lines… over 30 minutes on the road just to get in the parking lot, then another 30 plus minutes in the registration line, then another wait in the bag check line. We didn’t start our run until 1 1/2 past our heat time and that was arriving 45 minutes early. The lineup for the last big slide was also super long. Hard to finish the course in a decent time when it is sooo backed up. If the arrival and registration was better the event would be flawless.

Get there earlier then recommended as parking lines and registration lines can be long. Lots of fun though and a good range of easy to difficult obstacles. Something to challenge everyone but not too hard for kids. Would have been great if there were cameras at every obstacle if not most rather than just the start, middle and finish.

Great time, fun for all ages and fitness levels. Ran the event with my kids (10 and 13) and my parents (66). All are eager for next years run.

I loved it! It was such a fun run with cool obstacles and everyone just seemed happy to be there! A good balance of muds and suds:)

My mother, sister and I did this run and it was so much fun. The photographer was great, with an easy lookup option. And the purchase options were really well priced!

The obstacles, website, customer services and Balls Falls course were wonderful. They could have used a few more water stations on the course and some way to get sunscreen.
The parking, logistics and food options were, well, the opposite of wonderful.
There was also a lack of photographers this year vs other years which was disappointing. Only 2 obstacles had pictures.

We bought our tickets for the 5k foam fest in February of 2020. The date was pushed back many times without an option for a refund. We are really glad it was finally time to do it this year (Aug 27,2022). We had a lot of fun. The obstacles, DJ and overall morale was high energy and great. The only two huge downsides were that there was only ONE water station throughout the course itself and very warm sundrenched water waiting for you once you finished. Secondly, there was ONE food vendor option with a super small menu of pies and plantain chips. Participants were offered a fruit bar at the end of the race. We were so hungry and dehydrated that one in our group experienced severe heat stroke for the rest of the afternoon and following day. With such a great outcome and massive group of participants, you would think there would be food options after a 5k in the heat. Next time if we do this, we will plan to pack a picnic and stop at our car during the race.
