I haven't gone to a hairstylist in years as I've always had a terrible experience (my hair is very textured, curly, frizzy, thick and just a lot to work with) Andre tackled it with ease and now I love my hair and I love my new colour and cut! I recently visited this hair salon as I was going away and was looking to have my hair professionally done. I had dyed it myself and cut it myself. Something I never done before! It was not very nice in my opinion. I was also tired of not getting the look I wanted at other salons. It always ended up brassy looking.
I had my appointment with Grace and I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful she is. She did my hair exactly the colours I be been looking for. It is perfect in every way. She even made my bangs longer ok good even though she didn’t have much to work with. I am so happy with my hair and will definitely return to see Grace in the future. On top of all that, the staff is very friendly and I felt very much at ease there. I have been to a few top end salons in Whitby and I would 100% recommend this place over them all.

Worst haircut experience in my life, I young lady was taking care of me but they should have told me she is new before she starts. And she was like unfamiliar with everything, kind of weird for me.anyway they managed to give me a haircut at the end.

This was my first salon experience getting my hair coloured and I was very nervous because I have thick curly hair and unfortunately not many salons are knowledgable in caring for curly hair, especially when it comes to colouring. But I'm very pleased to say my experience with Andre was wonderful! He greets every customer like an old friend and made me feel very comfortable. He did an amazing job with my hair colour, my curls do not look or feel damaged at all! Prices are also reasonable compared to most salons. I will definitely be coming back, Andre you're the best!

Went in for a haircut with Andre. Super friendly and welcoming environment but the haircut itself was horrible! I left with layers only in the middle of my hair that looked choppy. It’s like a had horrible extension job that wasn’t blended in. The left side didn’t match the right side and bottom wasn’t even. I had to go to another place and spend just as much to have it fixed. Never again.

This place is my number one hair dresser in Whitby. They are professional and talented. I would recommend them for anyone who is looking to get a professional haircut!

Best experience ever. Thank you to Besim. I was lucky to get my hair cut and styling done by him. My hair got a new healthy fresh look, light, shiny, gorgeously curled. Exactly what I came for. I left the salon so happy and during the day kept turning my head to check hair in the mirror anywhere I go on that day. Also I liked that during the appointment whole attention was on me and my hair. It was like a little spa hair day.
Definitely coming back for a cut and styling with Besim. I am grateful for this experience.

I visited this hair salon recently and had the pleasure of being set up with Melanie. She was so kind and professional. She gave me an experience that I have never had before. In previous times at other salons, the stylist made me feel bad for having long dark hair and made me feel like my request was not achievable. However, Melanie was the first person to not make me feel this way! She took her time, she gave me options of what can be done and made my hair beautiful:) I absolutely love what she did and will be back!

My mom and I had a wonderful time at 5 one 7! Both cuts were fantastic! Andre and Loukas were so kind, welcoming and talented. We really appreciated the personal touch in their service. My mom finally got the haircut/experience she had been looking for that suited her well and made her smile. We will definitely be coming back when it is time to get our hair done again

I did a horrible box bleach job at home.it was bad. Georgia did a super fantastic job correcting and I absolutely love the results. You saved me! And my hair! Very grateful and impressed!

Melanie is absolutely amazing! Every time I have gone in to get my hair done, she perfectly explains the different possibilities and what I can look forward to. She never rushes and ensures that I get the best possible service. (She had even offered to get me Tim Hortons because the processing was taking long). Everybody has something to talk about there, their haircuts are amazing (i left there feeling fresh and confident), see i didn’t let people cut the top of my hair a lot but after coming here i know this is the only spot i will let people do that.
