7 West Cafe

It’s a beautiful, intimate, atmospheric place with plenty of cool places to sit, hang out, and talk for as long as you want. The problem is that the food is awful. If you’re only going for drinks it’s no problem, but if you want to have a bite, I’d go somewhere else.

I had the French toast and it was delicious! I would definitely order it again. My sister had the pancakes and unfortunately they were not good, and came to the table cold. Service was very friendly and atmosphere was great - small and cozy. They were very busy, so I would recommend making a reservation.

The food was supppper yummy! My friend and I went for a late dinner, she had the penne chicken pasta. The white sauce was super good! I had the tomato soup, also very tasty.

We had the sangrias, 8/10 very citrus forward. Refreshing. The atmosphere on the third floor was so lovely. I felt like I was away in some Christmas themed cabin in the woods.

To finish off I had an early grey oat milk tea latte, and she had the Americano. Both great simple drinks.

Two tiny details, the chairs are metal and your bum will get frozen so I suggest sitting on your jacket! Also, the restaurant had some smoke, probably something happened in the kitchen but the smell was so strong, hitting our eyes too. Thankfully we were wrapping up our outing but if we were just seated, I'd definitely have an issue sitting through that the entire time.

Overall i'd come again. I'm sure this isn't a regular occurrence:)

I was recently back at 7-west after a long absence. They took a big hit during the pandemic and for a while afterwards had pretty much abandoned in person service. I’m delighted to say that they have re-invented themselves, and attentive service in a pleasant atmosphere is again a priority. The menu and wine list have been expanded, and like everywhere, prices are up significantly. Still, it’s back to the delightful neighborhood boite I long remember and I’m very pleased for that

Italian cuisine, a cozy, interesting place. We ordered lasagna, steak and sandwich, so we recommend everything related to pasta and the meat also deserves a good rating. There is something interesting, it is 24-7! It never closes! I definitely recommend it. It's worth going and giving it a try.

It's available 24/7, with great food options and taste to go with it. They customize it according to your taste and the ambience of an old building is spot on. 3 floors, with a patio on top, thus a shorter wait time but yea you've gotta check the floors for open tables yourself.

Cute hidden neighborhood cafe. They have 3 floors and the vibes are cozy. The food is great too and the staff have good suggestions. Good friend get together spot.

Upsetting extremely slow service. I walked in and I was only addressed by someone after 15 mins at my table. And about 20 mins to get my dish even if with most of the other customers already served. They didn’t even bother of cleaning my table from extra items and the menus. At least though breakfast was good.

Place is very nice and food is good as well as the service. BUT the smell in this place is terrible, whole place smells with burned and greasy oil and all the clothes after this place were very very smelly.

I have been to this cafe over 60+ times and the service and food has been absolutely great. I'm not sure if the restaurant is under new management But lately the food has been unsatisfactory. First of, they made my order wrong. In addition the cashier blonde girl is very disrespectful and unprofessional.this used to be my go to because the food was tasty and 24/7 but the quality of the food and staff has really declined over the last couple months.

24/7 cafe/restaurant/bar, definitely a place to consider, cloudy place with a very quite atmosphere, the food is great, and the prices amazing, very affordable, excellent quality and taste for the food, drinks also a very tasty and enjoyable

Went here for a quick bite after my hair cut. What Delight, the food was great and my server was super nice.

This is THE Landmark coffeehouse in Toronto for over 30 years! I'm 53, and can still remember taking my dates here to impress them with candle light and quaint conversation over unforgettable slices of cake and bottomless coffee! We always left, feeling happy and more acquainted, more connected. Namaste.

Not going to lie, the food is good, but average, I’ll be back to give it another go and find the hidden gems on this menu…

Other than that, service from Abdullah was spectacular, he went above and beyond which i appreciated a lot. The place is super cute inside and outside.

Sorry I changed my rate cause I don't get why they are charging 20% tip on your bill! The first time I saw something like that in Toronto.other wise nice place, good food, warm and welcoming staffs, nice place to hangout with friends

Quite expensive restaurant that is for sure.
At the start I was wondering why the servers were not being very attentive to our tables or the table beside us but when the bill came and they said the 20% tip was auto I understood why the service wasn’t anywhere near acceptable and it’s because to them they were already getting their tip so they didn’t care to do anything other than the basic.
$58 for 2 sandwiches and a side.

Generous breakfast. We are visiting from Vancouver and picked 7 West because it was near our hotel. Glad we did. Excellent and filling breakfasts. Well prepared. Gave a 4 because service was it a little tardy. Still glad we came. Enjoy!

They add tip even for single or double tables. And don’t accommodate or check on their tables. Horrible service

I ordered penne chicken. To be honest it was not the best penne that I’ve tried. It has green paprika that makes it weird! The service was not wow! Just a regular service. But when we got the receipt, I was shocked since we were charged $10 for TIP. As far as I know, if you really be satisfied with the service, you may pay tip in the amount that you want. But the exact amount in the bill and it was about %17

I thought this restaurant was good until the waitress did something I have never seen before. SHE TIPPED HERSELF! I was obviously going to tip her myself but that was VERY unprofessional. Once you tip yourself, you are telling me what to do with my money and I don’t appreciate that at all.

They had an 18% tip automatically added to the food, which wasn’t worth it considering the quality of the food or the service at this mediocre brunch place.

Lost count the amount of times I've eaten here! Must be atleast 50+ visits already. This is such a perfect spot for everything from a quick pick-me-up to a romantic dinner date! ️️️
And open quite literally 24/7 right in the centre of town!
And if this restaurant wasn't already tempting enough with its broad menus and great drinks, not to mention the delicious selection of cakes available too the service is brilliant as well!

Ate twice outdoor, breakfast and dinner. Very good and copious, try the breakfast pizza, friendly waiters.

Visited this cafe several times now and the staff are just so so lovely as is the food and drinks. Such a wonderful romantic place for couples to come. The owners should be very proud of themselves for having such a great establishment! ️

For a place that's open 24/7,365 days a year the food is pretty good and so is the service.the ambience is the best part. With three floors and slightly different feel at each level. There is something on the menu for everyone!

This is one of my favourite places to go to. It's a staple in Toronto. I love the ambience. I usually enjoy the food but this time it was mediocre and the service was really slow. We were sitting down for half hour before we got any service. And the server didn't check up on us often or cleared our table when we were done. I'll come back again but if the service and food stays mediocre then I'll probably find a new gem.

Food tasted great, service was great, lighting was a little dim. I ordered a sandwich, but I felt that there wasn't that much meat compared to the price. The main complaint is that there is poor/almost no ventilation on the second floor, which is also where the kitchen is. The tables/seats were also very close to the kitchen as it is a small place. As a result, the odours (not sure what other word to use) from the kitchen WILL stick to your clothes, and you will definitely smell it on your way back to school/the office/home. Another downside to eating on the second floor is that your eyes may sting slightly due to whatever it is coming from the kitchen; didn't really notice it until the end of the meal.

This spot is amazing. Ive been going for years. We started going in our clubbing years - as its open pretty late serving amazing food and great cake! Its a 3 story home tur ed restaurant- parking could be better but its super downtown so; its kinda expected. The salads and sandwiches are good and pastas. Bah- I like it all. Good spot for the foodie - and whole family. But super great with friend. I like upstairs best. Great service too.

This place is trash. No place for a tourist to visit. The young lady server with the hipster glasses is lazy and doesn't come to check on us. 20 minutes in, not even getting us started on drinks! She eventually sent the 19 yr old "bartender" to come check on us smh. We ordered food and they gave us the wrong order when the place wasn't even that busy. She continued to not check up on us so the bartender had to do her job. I felt bad for the kid so I have him 5 bucks tip. These ppl are not professional by any means. Stay away!

PS. The music is the only good thing about this place.

Great multi level diner/cafe. Have been here a few times during a late night out with friends or for an early morning coffee. The menu is delicious and the service is kind. The prices are a bit steep but thatz expected for a spectacular 24/7 restaurant.

Cute aesthetic and so wonderful to have open 24/7. While the drinks often fall short, the food is quite good and I'd certainly rather come here in the middle of the night than anywhere else that's open so late. I recommend the poutine (it's a MOUNTAIN) and the veggie sandwich is very, very good. If you're a cocktail connoisseur, you might be better off sticking to wine and beer - my whiskey sour was not worth $12+. If the cocktails improved, I'd give the place 5 stars and come around more often.

So apparently this spot is open 24/7 every single day! I went to check it out recently and I thought the spot was pretty nice! They play really good music in the background while you eat, there is 3 levels to the building that you can dine in.
It's a good spot for a date, meeting or just a solo meal! I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a low key spot at night to eat; the food menu is vast, it was almost hard to pick just one thing with all the options.

You can also rent the rooms out for corporate events

3 floors with rooftop patio (covered and heated in the winter). Each floor has it's own unique decor. Not as good as I remember. They now charge for bread and won't allow u to change/cancel your order once they enter it into the computer. Open 24/7.

What a hidden gem! A wide variety of selections, great portion sizes and very delicious food. I really loved the Pesto chicken. The place is very nice, cozy and very friendly staff. On my favorites list for the area, I will definitely go back!

Nice location. Very unexpected and easy to just drive by. The ambience is great. During my visit it was just a bit chilly. The omlett was great and so was the coffee.

Best cafe for late night hangout! I love their specially coffee and their desserts. Every room has its own ambiance and they are all great. The fact that it's open 24*7 just makes it perfect!

Good food. The service is a bit on the slow side, but not necessarily in a bad way. This is a place to hang out, chill and chat. Let the food arrive whenever it's ready.

Hands down the best grub to get after a night of alcoholic fun. I had ordered an all day breakfast and caprese salad at 2: 30am, both of which were delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone for some night night grub

Wonderful staff and customer service! I went there last night with 4 of my friends after getting horrible service at the Artful Dodger close by. We only had a few drinks and a wonderful dark chocolate cake. Would love to see how it looks during the day.
