VERY UNHAPPY with the online shop as to this day I have not received a refund for an order that was cancelled by The 889 Shop.
I ordered a yoga mat on June 19th, receiving an order confirmation and link to status. After inquiring why it still hadn't been shipped by July 6th, I received an order cancellation with the message "Unfortunately due to shipment issues, we are unable to fulfil your order. (.) The order will be cancelled and you will be refunded for the purchase. "
The amount has NOT been refunded despite me reaching out to the customer support team twice (and counting).
Please contact me to help resolve the matter.

I’d offer them 0 stars if I could. I was one minute late to class because of the rain, and still I wasn’t allowed in. Waste of time, money, and simply rude. It’s not the end of the world if you’re late, for such an expensive place they should be more accommodating to their customers. When you pay premium prices you expect premium service and this place is DEFINITELY not it. Will not be returning and I suggest you do the same. Don’t waste ur money folks.

Beautiful place, clean and bright. The studio to practice yoga and pilates is serene. On my recent visit, our class was over packed. One of the women attending class politely expressed her concern with the lack of space, to which staff was not receptive. Customer service could be refined.

Please beware of 889’s inflexible return policy, lack of transparency, and rude and condescending staff. They don’t care about their customers. Stay far away from them. Not worth it.

They sold me an open silk pillow case. Did not inform of their return policy- no refunds, only store credit and even that they refuse to give. Very shady.

A few days after purchasing the pillow case, I saw that they offer a pretty significant sale. I came to the store to ask for a price match (having only bought it a few days earlier). The salesperson told me that the product is "open and used". I clarified that I am returning it the same way I received it, open and with no cover, which should be a red flag for people (avoid 889). The salesperson proceeded to speak with her colleague in Spanish (for me not to understand) and determined that they will need the approval of the store owner.

I thanked the salespeople for their help and said I would appreciate that as this item is pricy, to which I was told "yes, all our items are pricy! ”. This is a good description of this place- expensive and not helpful. Lesson learnt-not to come near this store again. Hope this helps others.

Fantastic customer service! MJ and Eydis were so kind and wonderful! I love my new pillow cases and yoga pants! Highly recommend! It’s such a vibe there
