8Mile Detroit Style Pizza

By my normal standards, I would give this food a two-star rating. But since the restaurant was out of our preferred dish, we had to settle for our second choice that, regrettably, fell short of our expectations. The overall experience was underwhelming, especially with the mediocre sauce, given the price.

Ordered via Uber and it is so delicious even a day after (put it in the oven and yum!). Can't wait to have it again!

Pineapples on the pineapple pizza were kinda wilted and sad.otherwise 10/10, though, beautiful experience

I'd never been here before, but I just tried the Sweet Heat pizza here and I honestly think it's one of the best, if not THE best pizza I've ever had. Absolutely delicious, oh my goodness. I wish I could eat only that forever.

I had the red top pie and a blue cheese dip. Pizza was smaller than I was expecting but still super satisfying to me. The abundance of sauce and cheese made for a very messy eating experience, especially having it super fresh in the store still. I really like the crispy edges where the cheese overflows to the edge of the pan, that are signature of a Detroit style pizza. The blue cheese dip wasn’t very blue cheesy though and I feel like the price was a smidge high. There’s really limited space to eat there so if that’s the plan, don’t expect there to be guaranteed space. Based on this and what I said before, I’d suggest taking it to go to guarantee you eating it comfortably, and allowing it to cool down a little before eating so that you can reasonably pick it up as a slice to enjoy it.

Not sure if its worth the price in terms of portions but it definitely fills you up. The sauces they have are good as well. I enjoyed it. I like the deep dish style! Thick ahh za fr

Ordered a half and half pepperoni and classic pie! I personally felt the pepperoni half was very salty but it was good. I preferred the classic pie which I wasn’t sure about at first because it had whole cherry tomatoes in it however it was extremely delicious. The sauce was so yummy and the crust was crunchy on the outside and dough was very tasty. I had about 2.5 pieces and was full. Ate the rest the next day and it was just as tasty heated up in the oven. It is a perfect size pizza for 1 person.
I also ordered the garlic sauce to try (never got it though) and the carrot caramel cheesecake. Wow that was so good the caramel is delicious and I thought the base was pretty damn good too. Would recommend!

Amazing deep dish pizza. You can even choose up to two different pizzas in one order and try more than one at a time. Definitely must try the Oh Canada for the meatlovers. With only one pizza I would say two people can eat decently. They have really friendly employees. Not wheelchair accessible.

First time coming to this place, the servers were great, the atmosphere was amazing felt like we were in a different city, and the food was the best had the Meez Pizza with Scotch Bonnet Aioli Sause.

First time ordering from this place and my boyfriend and I loved it! The crust on the side was crispy while the middle was light and doughy. We ordered the half and half pizza (White Truffle and Meat Lovers) and the Classic Pepperoni they were all amazing but hands down my favourite had to be the White Truffle, paired with the garlic dip 10/10!

We will definitely order again.

Such a great find in the area! Fresh ingredients, amazing staff, very quick and quaint sitting area for summer (patio) or winter (indoor). You get a huge filling pizza with the best ingredients for a reasonable price. Yes, it’s super filling. I had to take the half home for the next day.

Probably the worst pizza I've ever had in Toronto. I paid $20 +tip to get a burnt pizza that was smaller than a personal frozen pizza from the grocery store.the amount of cheese didn't even cover the dough in the middle. It's called 8 mile for a reason, It's what Eminem grew up eating with his cracked out mom.

These guys burn pizzas they do not know how to make and cook pizza I waited 30 minutes for my order and they then tell me the pizza is burnt no compensation for my time instead they try to keep my money and tell me oh well DO NOT GO HERE THEY BURN THE PIZZA THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO PIZZA BUT THEY DO KNOW HOW TO RUIN YOUR DINNER

If you love Detroit style pizza then this is a really good place. Along with their pizza, I recommend trying their creamy garlic and blue cheese dipping sauce.

The pizza: DELICIOUS. But that’s not the best part about pizza from 8Mile - you can do half and half options! We ordered one pizza for 2 adults coming off a 4.5 flight - half was the White Truffle with mushrooms, arugula and ricotta and the other half was their signature Red Top. It’s also hard to tell in the photo, but this pizza is thick, grab a knife for easier eating! Must order when in Toronto!

Nice little place. Has got a cozy feel to it. Loved the staff's energy. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Really loved the fact that you guys had #halal options. Thank you for that.
There's a little balcony with seating that overlooks the street. Its very charming. Overall loved the vibe of the place.

Deep dish pizza meets New York pan pizza. Absolutely delicious, I ordered delivery half and half Detroit red top and Meat love, plus the carrot cheesecake and dips. The crust on the pizza was thick but perfectly baked, fluffy and crispy. It would be the perfect portion for 2 IMO. The cheesecake was a carrot cake but better, if you love cream cheese icing and cheesecake this is the cake for you. Garlic dip was a classic, scotch bonnet is spicy. First time ordering and will definitely be coming back. 10/10.

So so so sooooo good! He had the pepperoni deep dish, I had the cheese. We could have easily shared and paired it with a salad, but we were pigs and regret non of it.
The prices felt reasonable, especially compared to other popular Chicago style pizza joints.

We ordered in and have zero idea what the inside looks like or if service is good.

It's a bit pricey, but so good. The spicy one is actually reasonably spicy too which is a big plus. Crust is the best part for me, very flavourful.

This is the second spot that I've had Detroit style pizza in Toronto. Its pretty good but it's not as good as Descendants on Queen West.

04/15/22 Good pizza, but the size of the pizza wasn't mentioned online, and ended up being half the size as expected, and the pineapple topping just says pineapple, it's actually some sort of cinnamon pineapple/pickled cinnamon pineapple? Took me for a ride the first pineapple I put in my mouth, I can tell ya that much.

Overall, it's decent, but don't feel it's worth the price. Also the menu at the time was missing sizing and the proper pineapple information.

Picked up six different pizzas from 8Mile and it definitely didn't disappoint! Definitely some of the best pizza in Toronto, the quality of their ingredients is amazing and it's a great mix of authentic Detroit style pizza with New York style toppings. The dough is nice and fluffy and the ratio of dough to filling is *chef's kiss*. The scotch bonnet aioli was a huge hit for all of us and we loved every single pizza we tried!
Will be a staple in our house going forward for sure! Only regret was not grabbing some dessert to try it out as well.

So dang good. There’s something about their crunchy and chewy dough that hits the spot. A bit expensive but worth the splurge.

Opening a box of pizza is like opening a present.

Deep dish may be a richer dish, but the crust is light and fluffy with the right amount of crunch and this is the type of food that's so good, it makes you want to slow down and savour.

A great level of care and attention is given to both food and customer service excellence. Once, an order received was missing an item and a simple phone call took care of everything. 11/10.

There is a front-facing summer patio with a focus on craft beer if you're into that. Cheers & enjoy!

I’ve never had Detroit style pizza before and now it’s one of my favourites. Crunchy and chewy dough, crispy and oily (in a good way) pepperoni, delicious cheese selection, and a perfect sweet and tangy tomato sauce to bring it all together. This was one of the most satisfying and delicious meals I’ve had in a while! Do yourself a favour and try it out.
