Classic scummy tow truck scammers. Also goes by the name "Bautista" towing.

Nothing but a scam, high pressure roadside tactics designed to extract all your money.

They only accept cash because otherwise every customer would do a charge back through their credit card because of the scam behaviour of this company.

Thankfully the province is finally working on shutting scam businesses like this one down.

My dad was stranded with no help in sight addy really came through for us in a last minute Heavy tow, got a us a great deal on the price and it was a cross border last minute for a Heavy truck towing! He was also able to dispatch someone right away! Honestly 10/10 service and care. Great people at AAction will definitely call them first next time we need towing.

Had a wonderful experience because of Gary D. Obviously getting a tow is not something you want to have to do but he made this as easy as possible. Got in an accident on the highway and was pulled over on the side, when he arrived, he told me I could go sit in his truck while he got my car hooked up. He took me to the collision reporting centre in Hamilton then all the way to my repair shop in Burlington. He made the whole process just a little less stressful. He will also make conversation with you so it’s not an awkward and silent ride. If you need a tow I do 10/10 recommended here. Getting a tow can sometimes be stressful especially when it comes to billing but this company deals with aviva and was super easy.

Had an amazing experience with Gary D. He was super helpful and really nice. He made sure that after the incident we had all the help we needed. He dropped us off at the location we needed to go. Horrible service! They try to sound nice and give kind advice at first, but it is a scam. I honestly wasn’t going to write a bad review for this at first, but it just gets worse.they intentionally delayed giving me the insurance release form so they could charge extra per day ($60) on top of the 1k they originally charged for. Not only that, they end my calls disruptively, not answering my questions correctly at all - which wastes more time. They also made me drive an hour to their compound just to tell me it’s an E-form. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve encountered.

Many thanks to Jay and Josh for moving my 20ft chicken coop to my new home. When everyone said it “can’t be done” they pulled it off without a hitch and kept it in perfect condition. Both Jay and Josh were very courteous and patient to ensure a job well done and in the safest way possible.

SCAM! I got my car towed by this company after an accident. He seemed very kind at first, offering me advice, and telling me I should take my car to his yard because it’ll be better for me. I ultimately told him no, and told him where to take it but he ended up taking it to his yard despite what me & my boyfriend told him. After that, I went there to sign off my car to my insurance so they could move it from A Actions yard, but for the next week after my insurance tried to pick up my car from this yard, they kept lying to my insurance saying that I did not sign it off yet, that they’re waiting on me still. Turns out they make $70 for every night the car is at their yard so they’re just trying to hold my car hostage as long as possible. They are just selfish people who only care about money, completely disregarding who it effects.

I’m a new EA @ United Rentals Fluid Solutions in Toronto. I just want to thank all the A Action drivers during my first 3 months. They were all exceptionally patient and helpful when loading. They always show up in full PPE and are always willing to lend a hand. Thanks to Kevin, Mike, Roland, Francis, Fadi, Raymond and Chris! You guys are top notch.

I used this tow company after an accident on the highway I have signed the release form and they know fully well I don’t live in the area I drove down almost 2 hours to sign the papers for them to tell my insurance they do not have it. They are just money hungry looking for ways to keep your cars so they get paid more I don’t recommend them

These are not honest people, they will scam you one way or another. My car got towed and this company charged me $1000 for a 10 min tow. Avoid this place like the plague, horrible people. I don’t know how they sleep at night.

I had a terrific experience with Gary De Medeiros after I got into an accident on the QEW. Of course, it was a stressful situation, but Gary made everything so much easier. He assessed the situation, got my vehicle loaded onto the flatbed quickly, drove me out to the OPP collision reporting centre in Mississauga, and then drove me all the way home to Toronto. He went above and beyond by helping me unload all my personal belongings at my house before he headed back with my “write-off” vehicle to their Burlington yard. All the while, he made sure my dog was comfortable. Gary is a real dog lover and we shared pictures and stories of our pups all through the drive!: D I am very grateful for his professionalism, humour, and caring attitude. Thanks, Gary!

Overall had a great experience with this companies service. My car broke down on the highway, and Dylan was very helpful and knowledgeable in getting me back up and on the road. If you see truck 193 approaching, you know you’ll have quick and friendly service.

Overall great experience. My tire exploded on the skyway bridge and i had to drive for a while with a destroyed tire so i could get to the shoulder—otherwise i would have just put my spare tire on; so i called for a tow and the disbatcher had a truck out to meet me within 20 minutes. Gary D is the one who picked me up, he was transparent with the price and is a good person overall. His price was reasonable and he definitely knew what he was doing, very professional. Had my tire blow out this morning while on a dangerous part of the QEW/427. Almost about to burst into tears waiting for help, Josh arrived and was overly amazing, comforting, helpful and all-in-all amazing. Francis the Great!
We took our vehicle to a large commercial garage to replace the battery about on month ago. About a week ago we started noticing some electrical challenges but paid it no mind because it was periodical. Today my wife was parked at a shopping mall and her vehicle had no life, we tried to boost it but it was to no avail. Her window was stuck in the complete open position i a large commercial parking lot, being a Saturday night, we were going to have to tow it to our home, then tow it to a credible mechanic on Monday. Francis from Action towing was our tow truck driver, rather then immediately hooking up and towing the vehicle he decided to troubleshoot, it turned out to be a bolt around the battery that was not tightened at battery replacement. Francis took the time to wait for us to get back and explained the issue. While we hope that we don’t have to call a tow company in the near future, if we do, it will be Action. Thank you Francis and Action Towing.

My car failed to start today. I had a tech from A Action Towing and Recovery come to my rescue. I apologized as I had parked in the garage nose in and there wasn’t any room. He politely said, “no problem” and he went about his business. When things are going bad, it the kindness and sincerity of others that brightens your day. Thanks A Action!
