A Buck OR Two

Came here at 6: 40 pm on a Wednesday to get a balloon (before they closed at 7: 00 pm). The lady at the cash rushed me to bring the balloon to her so she can fill the balloon with air because the store was closing soon. I intended to pick up a couple more items like birthday banners and streamers but her attitude and how she rushed me to the counter to pay for the balloon and let her fill it with air so they can close up the store and clean up was just awful. Will not be coming here again. I'll be going to other Dollaramas near by.

Owner of this place is so rude and he is rude and mean to kids. Better to go to dollarama in the next 2 lights. And nothing is buck or 2 here. Liar, scammer.

Horrible staff, accused me of stealing and told me to empty out my pockets and once I was proven innocent, I was told to "get out". Many old products that tasted old and disgusting. 0/10, don't recommend at all. I had a woman follow me across the whole shop. This is sad behaviour as they are a shop I supported everyday. I don't need to steal 1 dollar worth of product when I can buy the entire shop. Next time, don't judge me based off my age and clothes.

Ok place for buying $$ stuff. Their helium balloon options are expensive, so I went with some other place where it's less expensive.

I was very surprised with the great selection when I came into the store. It's definitely a store you could spend an hour in without knowing, lol. They have a great selection for birthday cards, and gardening tools. The nail polish selection was disappointing with some nail polish looking crusty and old with the paint separated. Staff were friendly, quick, and efficient.

I'm not sure how this store stays in business. They are the most miserable people I've ever met at the checkout. Never a hello or thank you. I have lived in this area for 34 years. The former owner was such a gentleman. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra mile to Dollarama at Hurontario and Eglinton. You will be treated with respect.

Almost every time I've attended this store, the prices of some items turn out more at the register than the shelf price. And each time I bring it to their attention, the reply is always the same. "well that's the price". It's infuriating. They won't even bother to check the shelf tag. And, inevitably I just end up paying the higher price because I can't be bothered to make a fuss. Customer service is non existent.

They have all sort in abundance but don't be deceived with their name, they have items selling more than a buck or two

The guy in the store is always rude. This is not the first time this happened to me. They are the meanest. He told me if I don't have money, then go away! That's for a $3 card.
Will never come back!

I didnt expect the variety of products this place has. Compared to Dollarama, this place is far more superior, yet the prices are within what you expect. They also have helium for balloons.

They ripped me off, they made me pay for a pack of balloons without me knowing and ended up keeping the pack. Don’t get anything from here, they obviously secretly scam you and they already have a pretty bad rating so I’m not the only one with these issues.

I said "hello" to the lady, no response. I said "thank you" as I finished paying. No response. I really wish that people would adapt the Canadian culture of politeness when setting up their businesses here in Canada.

Happy with the selection and price. Was able to find quickly what I was looking for. Glad that the store accepts credit card as I hardly have cash in hand.

Poor selection and staff are clueless to what & where anything is. Put the cellphone away and take a stroll around YOUR STORE and get to know it!
