I've known Alison for many years now, since 2017. She has magic hands, and her work is very precise and clean. She doesn't promise results, she delivers! She really helped me when I felt helpless (thanks to laser) and most importantly she kept the integrity of my skin! I never had issues with discolouration, scabbing, or irritation. I love her work and I trust her. I have gone to others in the field, both inside Canada and out and I haven't met anyone who I think compares. Her extractions are just elite (no plucking and pulling) and she invests into her equipment (that microscope and those glasses!) so you know she is committed to her clients. She is definity passionate about her work, I mean look all those certifications on that wall! I think she is a wonderful lady, very humble and approachable and doesn't make you feel awkward or uncomfortable. She is a one woman show, but also the star of the show. She schedules her own clients, and so you always deal with her directly. She is quite organized and her space is very tidy. I commend her for being a well oiled machine and running things so smoothly because it takes a lot of organization, kudos. I am so glad that I got to experience her as my Electrologist. She's very professional and ethical and you WILL be glad you went to her. Also, I am very precise and choosy as I do have a high bar in terms of personal standards and she really does meet my expectations. Call her, come in and get blessed with her skillset which I think is quite high level. Might as well save your $ and time, and go the correct person who really understands what they are doing (aka Alison). I love my face and I am a happy girl.

I have been going to Alison for electrolysis for over a year and have had fantastic results! Electrolysis has been one of the best decisions for me and Alison has been the perfect person for it. She is kind, thorough, gentle, and I am always at ease in her office. Additionally, she is super professional, her studio is very clean, and I always leave my sessions feeling great! I highly recommend Alison to anyone looking into electrolysis!

I was recommended to Alison for treatment of random facial hairs that had become coarse. I am blond, 50 years old, and the coarsening had happened slowly over time and was exacerbated by my desperate plucking. I had a few problem hairs above the lip, a few on my chin, a few in eyebrows, and on the sides of my mouth. I waited months on her waitlist because she will not take on more clients than she can serve. It was totally worth the wait!

We began treatments 2 times per week. In the first few weeks I sometimes would have one or two hairs "breaking through" and driving me crazy and Alison would find a way to squeeze me in between visits. Very soon I became comfortable with treatment once per week. After four months, we were in a two week cycle and now, nine months since first treatment, I am pretty much done. My visits are infrequent and my face is comfortable for the first time in 20 years. When the problem hairs grow back they are soft and fine. Don't wait or hesitate.

The studio is very clean and professionally equipped. Alison is great!

Alison does amazing work. Always friendly and informative, and makes a scary and painful experience (at least to me when I was new to it) far more enjoyable. She has two different methods of applying the current and helps you find which is best for you.

Aside from a very good job (having been a client for a year now and seeing the dramatic difference in my hair), she makes everyone feel special and that's important.

I reached out to Allison half a year ago. I have a skin condition and was hoping someone with her reputation was a good fit. I waited months for her to have availability. Unfortunately for me a friend passed away around the time of my first appt. I had to reschedule and Allison had appeared understanding. When I was finally able to make it to Toronto, the massive snow storm hit. Allison called me and explained she'd need to leave early. I had taken the bus a 1.5 hr bus ride but accepted that the road conditions were such that they'd been a danger to her. Rode back to my city. This was the last time I heard from her. When I attempted to call to reschedule no one picks up. I even got a number not in order message. It became obvious she was ignoring my calls. So, unfortunately I can't speak to the quality of her work. I can attest though that the customer service was quite poor. I've never been ghosted in a professional situation. I'm very surprised.

Alison is wonderful — friendly, supportive, and very good at what she does. She really cares about trans people’s happiness and community, and it shows in pretty much everything she does.
