We have been a customer of Bob’s for 25+ years. We highly recommend this shop and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Bob has been the best person I’ve found (for over 20 years!) for servicing and repairing all of my vacuum problems, from getting a new stand vacuum, to a canister vacuum, to repairing and servicing my 25/30 year-old central vacuum, even the OLD central vacuum motorized hand-piece, which he had repaired for me few times, and finally replaced with a fantastic new one (at a very reasonable price, I must say!). He provides very honest recommendations, solutions, and is pleasant and always respectful.

Honestly, he is one those rare “gems” that is very difficult to find nowadays, in this “throwaway” wasteful age where nobody wants to FIX anything (only want to replace with NEW things). My husband and I are very thankful for his honest and respectful manner. Thank you Bob, for always being there to help out whenever we have needed it!

What a pleasure Bob is. I originally went somewhere else in Mississauga to repair my vacuum and my vacuum situation was not rectified. I found A Vacuum Factory Inc.online and thank goodness. This was my first time dealing with this company. The problem was the suction on my vacuum was not the same as before. Bob was very helpful in talking me through how to remove the central vac and I took it into the store. He performed a service and the suction greatly improved! Bob took the time to explain the situation and didn't try to gouge me for any unnecessary repairs or upgrades. Excellent service, definitely recommend them.

Incredible service. I presumed I needed a whole new vacuum, but the very nice gentleman wanted to first know the situation with my existing vacuum in case 1) he could fix it and save me money, or 2) he could just sell me the broken part in case the rest of the parts were working and compatible. Very rare that you get that approach from vendors today. It turned out I just needed one part; so he saved me hundreds of dollars. I will certainly go to Vacuum Factory for all my future vacuum needs. Strongly recommend.

Bob helped us repair our broken central vacuum Eureka Zuum for a very seasonable price instead of having to purchase for a new one. My husband called other stores and they all said it's probably the motor is dead and is not worth fixing it and offered their brand new vacuum with their special price.

I have purchased 6+ vacuums, electric brooms, rug cleaners over the years and have referred many family and friends to this amazing store. Even though I no longer live in the area I keep coming back to Bob as I trust his advise and workmanship. He only sells products that pass his standards.

In addition to making new purchases I have also had to find parts for a 40 year old Electrolux. The store has an endless supply of parts and if Bob can not find the exact part he will improvise.

Bob also takes trade ins and if you have an old vacuum you do not need he will restore it and donate to a person/family in need.

Such an amazing person and will always have my business.

Update Post: Dec 2022. I recently visited Bob to repair a vacuum hose and also to extend the length of a bush that was not doing it's job as effectively as I wanted. Once again Bob was amazing at the repairs which over the years extends the life of my vacuums. In 1 day the repairs were completed.

The Vacuum Factory is one of those neighbourhood stores in the truest sense of the word. The service you get there is impeccable and the owner Bob is one of the nicest person you could ever meet. There is never a sense of being over charged for anything and he backs up all his work with his word.
Our central unit has been in the house since it was built and sometimes I am not sure how he has the repair parts, but he does and has kept it going for us.

I received a very professional, amazing service. My central vacuum needed a repair or replacement. These problems with equipment or appliances not working always happen coincidently before holidays. At least in my case. So It is a huge problem for a person like me who does not know much about it.
I visited A Vacuum Factory at 10 AM and by 2 PM the same day my central vacuum was replaced and repaired!
As it was an old equipment Bob, the owner recommended to change the motor and the problem was fixed. I also got 5 year warranty. Impossible to believe in present times to receive such a fantastic and immediate service. Bob, the owner is a very nice person. The technician who was sent immediately to my house to pickup the equipment for a repair also was very pleasant. I would recommend the service to anybody. Thank you for your great service!

Personally having been a customer, I have seen the great care the owner provides to his customers. He takes a lot of pride in his work and goes above and beyond for his clientele. The work and services they provide are of excellent quality and I strongly recommend them.

I brought in my 21 year old central vacuum system to this store for repair. Right away Bob explained exactly why the vacuum system was losing suction. He gave the system what he called a" tune up' and changed some gaskets etc in the same day. The vacuum system runs like the day I first bought it. His pricing is very reasonable and he is very knowledgeable, honest and friendly.

Vacuum Factory is the absolute subject-matter expert! When we had to replace our 17-year old machine (after having purchased and then had it repaired twice over the years at Vacuum Factory), we knew that we could absolutely trust and rely on their experience and recommendations. I was looking around for a good dedicated vacuum for stairs as I live in a House and have two flights of stairs that are carpeted. I must say I'm very happy with this vacuum, it is easy to vacuum the stairs without lugging a full size vacuum. Owner is very helpful and knowledgeable he help me to chooose the best car vacuum i ever had before.

Always take a picture of what you're leaving to be repaired, whether this place or elsewhere. If you don't, the owner will argue that you hadn't left that part with the vacuum and you're out a functioning vacuum and no leg to stand on. Also get a detailed repair receipt with details like date left, model # and what parts were included.

Needed to relocate my centeral vacuum and all I can say is this is my new local go to for anything related to Vacuums! Extremely friendly and HONEST service and advice! Highly recommended, provided me with all the parts and advice! Thank you so much guys!

They really know what they’re doing! Very friendly. I had broken my vacuum cord 2 times and they fixed it so quickly and were very nice! They aren’t close to where I live so when I broke cord a second time I called around to places closer to me and they all happened to be rude or just not seem to want to help me! After that experience I always just call here and always will! It is out of the way but worth the drive! Very happy with the service!

I took my Dyson vacuum into the Vacuum Factory and spoke with Bob the owner. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about my vacuum. I left the vacuum with him and he gave an estimate on the cost to repair my machine. I brought my machine home and used. It was like a new machine. I am very pleased with work they did on my vacuum. I was writing a very long rave review about Bob, the owner and his service. Unfortunately I lost it all when for sone reason I lost my network connection. So I will summarize it.

Bob, the owner gives great service, is knowledgable and goes way above and beyond the minimum required to make his customers happy. I watched the same for the couple of customers ahead of me and he did the same for me. He is very patient and takes care to explain things in great detail.

I had gone to buy a motor for my powerhead. He replaced a belt free of charge even though I had told him not to, just because he felt I might have problems later. Also replaced the screws I had with longer ones just because my powerhead base was damaged and he wanted to save it for a little longer. Previously the screws were coming off because of the damaged base and I had to tape it all down. He did not try to sell me a new base.

Earlier, he had saved me a trip by asking me to send him a photo of the motor I wanted, to check out if he had it in stock before I came in. He called back in a few minutes to say he had it in stock and quoted a reasonable price. Installed it free for me too. Others had asked me to just bring in my powerhead so that they can then see what I needed (and perhaps not have the part in stock).

I highly recommend Bob and the Vacuum Factory for any vacuum or repairs you might need. You will not be disappointed. I am lucky to have found him.
