Clearly I'm not the only one who thinks this is a poor taxi company.the drivers are completely unprofessional and awful drivers. Our driver almost caused a huge accident as he doesn't know the rules of the road. I have no idea how he got his licence. I called to complain and was told to file a report because the "company is not responsible for their contracted Drivers". Just brutal

I wish there was an option for less then one star.
Just had a very inconvenient experience with this taxi service and driver name was ‘Gurjit Mangat Singh’, his was the first cab I saw at Milton Go so I got in and gave him the address, took him some time to really understand it - We had a small chat about recent elections and Milton - By the time, we reached a destination, I got my card out and told him that I’ll pay by debit - His response right away was oh ‘ my machine is not working ‘ and then he started looking for it- I said how about credit card and again he’s like ‘no no it’s not working ‘- He was expecting me to get cash from home but I asked him about options -I said I don’t have any cash on me and you should have at least informed me in the beginning - He is like ‘there has never been a need for a machine ‘. I was really shocked - I do not believe for a second that every passenger carries cash - So I told him to drive to nearby Td bank and I’ll get a cash from there - Throughout this entire conversation he kept the meter on and didn’t bother to apologize once- At the bank, when I came out with cash, he was on the phone with some technician and even when I was inside the car, he kept talking on the phone - I had to literally remind him that he has a passenger - When he dropped me back, I handed him the cash and told him that he should have at least had a decency of offering to stop the meter or at least apologize but it was like as if he was deaf -
That is why Uber is doing much better then taxis - If you cannot have the current upto date technology in your taxi then it’s nothing but inconvenience for passengers and in this day and age, no one likes inconvenience.
So Mr. Mangat, you need to learn about customer service and be respectful of your passenger ‘s time.

Driver was polite. Car was clean and comfortable. Shorter wait time than others I called. Estimated cost was right on

Wish i could give this place less than 1 star.i had someone pick me up, his machine wasn’t working and didn’t work twice.he said he would come and get the money from me the following weekend and didn’t.the weekend afterwards he came and acted like it was my fault that the payment didn’t go through.the worst part, i went to book another cab with them today and the first thing he asks me is “do you have any money”. Maybe if your machines worked better then there wouldn’t be an issue.don’t book with these guys.

Unsafe, unreliable, unfair, unprofessional.the list goes on.

I would not recommend A1 rose taxi to anyone. If you need a ride, please consider other options such as family/friends or Uber. This taxi company does not even deserve a 1 star.

We ordered a van to pick us up because we had so much luggage, but they sent us a car which didn’t fit all our luggage in the trunk. The driver made us put our extra suitcases on our laps for the 45 minute drive to the airport. He also closed the door on my brother’s knee before he was settled in the car. The driver was also on the phone the whole time and looked down at his phone multiple times. One of our suitcases was damaged when he crammed it into the trunk. When we got to the airport, we paid him for a car price, and the driver swore at us and called us cheap for not paying for a van, even though they sent us a car.
We called dispatch and they were very rude and refused to hear our side of the story and also called us cheap for not paying a van price when we were sent a car.
I would not recommend this taxi company to anyone!

Bad service. I called to go to airport and fare was not as advertised. $5 more than flat rate but I didn't mind. I reminded the driver about flat rate and he agreed. Once we got to the Airport, I offered my credit card and he refused. He said the flat rate doesn't apply to credit cards, I think he was just trying to avoid paying taxes. I ended up giving him cash, but never again will I call them.

I prebooked 2 cabs take our group to a wedding venue about 10 minutes from our hotel, the man I spoke to said it was a flat rate of $15 per cab.

On the way back to the hotel at the end of the evening we called two cabs but this time we had a meter running, the ride back to or hotel was only $10.00.
No taxi ride is worth a $5.00 tip.

Beware of this company an.this rip off.

Right on time, driven very well as there was snow, driver helped me in keeping and taking out luggage from the car. Overall good experience.

I’ve seen these taxis run through red lights turning right without stopping more than once around town. So unsafe.

Called 2 nights before flight. Dispatch said flat rate of $50 to airport. Driver arrived with van that looked like it has never been cleaned on the inside. Driver looked like a mess as well. Smelled awful. He put meter on which I thought was odd being a flat rate. When we arrived he said it was $55 because “that was old rate, it went up. ” Complete lie.

By contrast the driver and car that took us home from the airport (different company) was not only well groomed and dressed but his car was immaculate and it only cost $5 more. Lesson learned.

I should have checked the reviews before dealing with them. I booked a cab to airport for agreed upon fee of $60. Soon after he started driving engine pressure low light came on and the alarm that comes with it. I told the guy I don't want to be late for my flight check in and will pay extra for 407, he still took 401 and we got stuck in traffic and were extremely late for our flight (last ones to be boarded). The engine light and alarm kept going so I asked him to drop us somewhere from where we will call another cab and he did not listen. After reaching the airport in a terrible mood, the driver started fighting with us that $60 is too low. The worst cab experience ever.

Pretty sure I got ripped off by the taxi driver.

I called for a taxi to come at 5 AM to go airport from Milton the night before I was supposed to leave. The driver arrived on time which was nice. The website says that the flat rate to the airport is $45 from Milton to Pearson airport, but when I got into the taxi, the driver started the metre. I didn't say anything at the time in case the driver gets defensive and weird and decided to ask about the flat rate when I arrive at the airport.

When we arrived, he said the total was going to be something like $78. I reminded him that the flat rate is $45 according to the website and he simply said the website is old and there is no flat rate. I argued but felt like I had no choice but pay the price according to the metre.

Update your website if there's no more flat rate or at least tell your customers when they ask for a taxi to the airport!
