Went here for first time. Got channa bhatura and 2 veg with garlic Naan and pagodas.
The 2 veg we picked was malai Kofta and brown daal.
The channa and potato had a weird taste. Not the restaurant fault. It is some spice they added that I'm not accustomed to. So for me the channa and potato was not as good as I hoped for.
The brown daal was also not as good as I hoped.
The malai Kofta was delicious. I wish I ordered a large order of it and just ate that. It was so good. Will probably get take out of that next time.
The pakoras were ok. A little raw on the inside. The green chutney is great. I feel 1 chutney should be given with an order of pakoras for free as they go together.
I am Pakistani and am use to Pakistani recipes so some of the food here was different in taste to me.
Very bad and poor service food and sweets are stale not fresh even they sell chutney. 49 cents how wonder Never recommend this place, especially for sweets!
Poor service! Long wait and then refused to give me a component of their meal as advertised on their menu because it was only for dine in. There were no tables to dine in at the restaurant. Just terrible. If it's not part of the dish, don't advertise it and don't say something is for dine in when you don't have seats for people to dine in.
Was by passing by on Diwali and thought I'd get some Mithai. It tasted good. A little on the steep side when it came to pay but I don't often eat this stuff so I thought I'd let it slide. I was hugely disappointed that they were not serving any food though. In fact most restaurants were not, which of course is ridiculous. I guess its all about mithai on diwali, but some of still like a breakfast, lunch and dinner.
So after alot of great reviews i visited the place today for some nice Indian veg food. Firstly the staff is really good and polite, the options as well as the price is very reasonable. The service was quick for us. We had ordered the much recommended Channa Bhatura and Tandoori aloo parantha. The channa bhatura was doable but the aloo parantha was the game winner for me. It was exactly the same way you get in in North India specifically Murthal (anyone from Delhi/ NCR can relate to it) We also took samosa and paneer pakoda. Samosa's were really good with some chai but would recommend paneer pakoda to be taken with some chutney else they will feel dry. Overall my taste buds were left satisfied and i will definaltly return for more!
If you want a quick snack that is semi healthy and that is vegetarian as well come here to A1.two fist sized somasas for $1.60 cad.taxes included.you are in and out.very friendly staff.fist sized somasas! Beware that they are semi spicy.sometimes if you are lucky they come fresh out of the deep fryer.sometimes they are micro waved.sometimes they are room temperature.
Shocking how expensive the sweets are for Diwali this year (2022) at this sweet store. $12/lb. Brampton Rajdhani (Bovaird) was selling at $5/lb and higher and the quality is so much better (they had a tiered rate card going up to $11/lb for the most expensive ones. I picked up bengali sweets at $6.5/lb (and it was so good). I'm not related to Rajdhani but had to say this online and share what a rip off the store has become. Head to this store if you want your wallet emptied.
I am used to taking out my dinner from here, so far no complaints, always got hot and fresh food and that's why it takes a little more time to get to you. I have tried their 3 veggie thali and chhole bhature. Good value for money deals.
Best pure vegetarian Punjabi food. Dine in or take out. Absolutely out of this world food with most effordeble price. Do visit this place if you are pure vegetarian.
This place is fs one of the best in town for delicious Punjabi food. I have been regularly buying food (sabzi) from here and I am amazed at their consistency and taste. Quality food. Esp their Methi Malai Paneer! They make it every other Friday and it's better than what you can get in any 5 star restaurant out there! And apocket friendly too!
Worst service don’t have any concern on commitment. Ordered Batura and veg asked me to wait for 15 min and even after 30 min they said they are going to make now and that was the only thing I waited and rest was available. Stay away from this place
The thali was not very tasty, and the portions were very small, and compared to before the prices are so much more expensive, and I would come herebonly once and a while.
We used to go here way before Bengali sweets had opened next to them. I believe it was one bad meal that made us go to the store next door instead. I recently ordered tried them again and have not stopped. The Thalis are great. The veggies are fresh and they taste good. The variety is so much better than the usual typical Rajma, gobi, baingan, etc. The samosas are really good as well, the balance of pastry and filling is just right. $. 75 per samosa is little more than the competition near by but they taste great.
