Best taxi company in the town. Dispatcher and drivers are very polites and kinds.services 24/7

Always use this cab company. The dispatcher can be unpleasant at times, but the drivers are always pleasant, and you don't have to wait long for a cab. The longest I've had to wait is 10 minutes. I've had to wait over an hour for other companies I won't name. Prices are reasonable, and they appear to choose the faster road rather than the slower one in order to make more money.

Singh was a fantastic driver- was the first pick up of his night and was beyond grateful for his candor.

Called to book a taxi to the airport using the flat rates they have on the website. Proceeded to speak down to me and my father and quoted us double then what they are advertising. Went to other company who had the same quotes and they said no problem. Definitely won’t ever be using A1 taxi after hearing the person who picked up the phone yell at my father.

Just wanted to say that the driver Pal Gill is one of the best drivers around.
He helped me with my wheelchair and packages
Right to the front door and I will be using his services from now on

I just called a cab from these guys and they told me they had no cabs in the north worst service I've ever had from a cab company

I was very happy with this excellent service! Not only did the car come quickly, but the driver was very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. I felt safe throughout the drive and enjoyed the interesting conversation. The car was clean and the ride was comfortable. Recommend this service!

Dispatch is very unprofessional and unpleasant. Very rude and disrespectful! He kept hanging up on me. Why work in customer service? Totally defeats the purpose. BECK TAXI WOULD NEVER.

Guy took me to opposite direction despite of the fact that I kept telling him that he was driving in wrong direction. Told me to turn my GPS off because he knows the area well. After 20 minutes he realized that he was driving in opposite direction and then drove back. Made me late for my meeting and still charged me full fare even though it was not my fault that he drove 20 minutes in wrong direction. I did not argue with him as I was late for meeting and was rushing.

Horrible. This company only has old men as drivers who have difficulty hearing and seeing. Today one of the cabs got into an accident with my mom and brother as passengers. My moms face is currently swollen and in terrible pain and my brother is traumatized. Don’t book if it’s not 100% needed. Cab 356 needs to lose his job.

SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT BOTHER TRYING TO GET A TAXI FROM HERE THEY ARE HORRIBLE! I ordered a taxi this morning to pick up my dad and drive him to the hospital for his surgery today, they answered & said no problem they were on the way. We were waiting downstairs for about an hour, I was calling them to see what was going on & every time I called they kept answering and hanging up on me. I had to figure out a ride from a neighbour thank god who drove us I time to the hospital so my dad wouldn’t miss his surgery. They called me a few hours later asking if I still needed the taxi, I told them no thank you we needed it hours ago and we almost missed the surgery because of their horrible service the man was very rude and ignorant on the phone and hung up again. Do your self a favour call a Uber a Lyft anything but this horrible company

Was in a pinch several mornings in a row and needed a quick boost that wouldn’t cost a lot. …. I could afford a new battery yet. A1 showed up and boosted my car for only 20 bucks and they did it quickly and kindly. The other time the gentleman arrived in a van but only had booster cables the car was too far away to reach so the gentleman suggested we push it until it could reach and we did and I was boosted. Great service, friendly vibes. Great work A1

I take taxi regularly but some flat rates not good you pay less most times to flat rate destinations.

The dispatcher was very disrespectful today I have never had a problem until today I am so shocked we would take this company about every two weeks call from the same number and today he asked for the phone number my fiancee didn't know it so he hung up on him when I called back to book the taxi I asked what happened he said oh we need a number to contact don't the ID come up when you call the dispatcher was very rude I tried telling him to calm down he kept getting upset so I canceled the ride went with another company

I’ve only had excellent experiences with them. They’re always on time & the drivers are friendly. Bramcity in comparison was always obnoxiously late.

Never had an issue with them before. But there is this one person there that doesn't have an ounce of respect

When there is no taxi they do not tell you straight they have you waiting wasting your time when you could have call another taxi company this is very unprofessional

Husband called to get price from Brampton to Church st in Toronto. Person said 100. I had just checked uber it said 62. Husband asked why is uber charging 62 and you 100. " take uber then" hung up. You complain uber is taking your business this is why. My husband usually always takes a1 taxi to try and support but not when charging over 40 more and being talked like that

Just trying to have a decent conversation with driver about rates and why i had to pay up front. No answer. Stayed silent the whole ride when i remained friendly and respectful until i got out. No wonder taxi companies and drivers are suffering. Zero customer service

Had to call three times to get my location confirmed by the dispatcher. Called and said on the way in 10 minutes. After 20 minutes the cab still did not show. The dispatcher said that it is far that is why when its in Brampton. I was late for my bus at square one and had to go all the way to Kitchener Waterloo with this taxi to be on time. Cost me an extra 150 because it took a cab 30 min to show up. Driver was real nice but not experienced.

Called at 11: 41 for a taxi. It’s currently 12: 46 and I am still left waiting for a taxi and the dispatcher keeps telling me “10 minutes” I have never had a good experience with this company and highly recommend using an alternative source to get to where you need to in a timely manner.

I was double charged $132 for a $37 ride. Part of this fee was because it was a wheelchair cab. There is no mention of this fee on their website or social media. When I questioned the customer service I was told all disabled people are aware of this fee.
Under Section 80 of the AODA act it says no business is allowed to charge an extra fee for services to persons with special needs.

I would not recommend this company.

The bestest taxi cab service ever. Dispatchers are so humble nice and know how to talk softly as well as properly. And offcourse drivers are the best, they make you feel like home. I have been using their services since 2019. Keep it up team.

Really pleased with A1 service. Booked through the website, taxi was on time overnight for a ride to the airport. Everything was smooth and driver was friendly and helpful. Very very nice start to my journey.
