Honestly, food and services was amazing! Great chill spot with nice mood and background music. Food was 10/10, lots leftover however! I’d recommend getting ready to take some home!

The 5 days of Diwali calls for feasting out. Aanch rose to the occasion by giving us tasty delish fare. Our hostess Kanan was v sweet and made our Diwali special by a great service. Thanks to chef Sudhanshu and his team for a lovely Diwali experience completed by Rasmalais as dessert on the house

The food was delicious. We have tried the vegetarian options. The presentation of the starters looks very interesting. Overall every was good including starts, although Dal Bukhara is the best, must try.

We had reservations for five of us for family dinner. There were a few staff members on floor. None of them formally greeted us. They did ask us a few times if we had reservations. After waiting a few minutes we were lead to an empty room on third floor. Server brought up couple of water bottles. We asked if they have any gluten free options, the answer was no. We ordered mix veg platter for starters. All items on the platter were reheated and didn’t appear to be freshly prepared. Following that we ordered main course including malia koftas and aloo matar curries, rice, naans etc. We were still eating the starters and they started serving main courses. The malia koftas included four small koftas in gravy. No efforts were made to garnish them properly and they tasted very ordinary. Aloo-matar were not properly cooked and potatoes were very hard. The only thing which was okay was Naan though over price @ $5.99. We have been to this restaurant a few times. The first time owner Chef Kumar personally came to ask us how everything was. We were served excellent food. It seems they are not able to maintain the same standards. Quality of food, the presentation etc has deteriorated but prices have gone up. Over all very disappointing experience.

Service was great, the girl who was handling us was very well known to the menu, i asked few questions then she answered those and everything in food, we received was quick and very delicious. Much recommended to go for good Indian experience. Best restaurant in GTA.

Their customer service is bad. The server told me to wait while she went inside. She came back after 10 mins and said that I will have to wait 25 more mins. She should have said that in the very beginning.
In another instance, I did a take away of chicken biryani. It was super high on salt. Really bad place for a dinning experience.

Tried the 3-course tasting menu ($45) @aanchrestaurant today. Did you know they are Michelin ️ rated? Worth a try if you like Indian food!

I would give few starts just for the amazing garlic naan and the lovely staff members. They were quite good at their service.
We ordered Nalli-Nihari which was not cooked properly and the lamb had a bad smell in the dish. I have had this dish in quite a number of restaurants but this was the worst I had. The chicken dum biryani was very spicy (as I ordered I mentioned to make less spicy) and had chewy chicken pieces only (all hard ones, forget about leg piece). My kid was unable to eat and hence I got it replaced with a mild spicy one but that was no better. I had to ask for plain rice which I mixed it with biryani to dilute the masala but it also diluted the flavours and my son couldn’t eat. The staff tried to help but could not betterment the masala and half cooked Nalli.

The naan on the other hand was very good (both butter naan and garlic naan).

The cost for Nalli was high for such a piece. Would not visit again.

We ordered kadai chicken but we got chicken masala but it was yummy! Naan was fresh and great! Little disappointed with appetizer (spinach cheese it was just ok) highly recommend for naan lovers! Must try ️

This has been my go-to spot for the best Indian in the city for years. Typically we order delivery on Sundays as a nice tradition - you need to try to samosas, garlic naan, the butter chicken 'Diliwala' style, and chicken tikka masala. Highly recommend!

The food was great but the service was slow they need to increase there staff as there was only one person catering to dine in and take out at the same time. Loved the deserts especially the rasmalai.
The thalis were adequate and it has three dishes including a meat, lentils and a vegetable (which they should change to cottage cheese for a better menu). Overall great place with authentic taste.

Very good presentation with delicious food and good ambience. Worth a visit for a close-to fine dine experience of Indian Cuisine!

Cheesy Olive Naan, Kofta vegetable and the assorted Kulfi's are a must try.

I went here with my girlfriend. She wanted some biriyani place near Union Station as she was traveling. I searched a place which serves biriyani and found Aanch. Surprisingly there was no customers at the place. We ordered a chicken tikka Naan and Biriyani. Food was good. We ordered a Fresh lemon juice also, sour and salty. A different taste. I LIKED IT. Overall satisfactory.

15 Feb 2019 around 6 pm I visited this place. Everything went well except last 2-3 minutes. The server never noticed that gratuity is automatically included in the bill. Food quality seems good. Given instructions for food preparation were followed with good efforts.

Only reason it gets a star is because of convenience and proximity to major land marks. Other than that:
-Food was not so good. I could have made better food in my own kitchen.
-Automatic gratuity on bills without asking customers.
-Rude owner
-Very congested seating

Not going back.

It’s not worth it. Chef should know the difference between biryani and rice mixed with gravy is not called biryani.

These guys need to change there chef and if they can’t do it then better to reduce there prices by 60%

I ordered $80 food from here and if I would have just eaten that money with some dip, it should have tasted better.

The Dilliwala Butterchicken will play with your taste buds. It reminds me the butterchicken I had at one of the finest Central Delhi restaurants. The Naan is authentic delhi style. The Karahi Paneer is not just another similar sweet Paneer dish, Aanch really makes it closest to what I used to have in India, with great flavours, perfectly cooked Paneer, green pepper and red onions. The Mix Non-veg Platter has a scumptios tandoori flavour to it, sauces and salad served on the platter complement it very well.

Chef Sudhanshu knows his spices and cook the food to the perfection. The sophisticated amalgamation of the ingredients taste like a piece of haevens from home.

Being an Indian cook myself, I am always looking for the best authentic Delhi style food across Canada. I've travelled across the nation, east to west and my search for the authentic butterchicken and naan took me to hundreds of Indian restaurants across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan Quebec, Nova Scotia and mainly GTA. I believe Chef Sudhanshu at Aanch has put an end to my search.

Delicious and among one of the most authentic food Indian food in the city, customer service and hospitality exceeds expectations.

Whenever I'm craving Indian cuisine, I always end up here. The food is so flavorful, delicious, and consistently at high quality. The staff is very friendly and can help with food selection and offer great advice.

It was empty when we came in, which was a bit disconcerting. The food was very good; definitely on the expensive side, but very filling and flavorful. However, the waiter was a bit curt and the way he treated us (two women) was a bit weird in our opinions, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt. One of the employees was stomping around the place like we were invisible, probably because we were the only customers. All in all, I'd order takeout from here but probably wouldn't eat in again.

Overpriced and very bad food, the portions sizes are the worst! They gave us the worst Bhel I have ever tasted and average chicken kadhai.
It’s really not worth visiting this place. Plenty of other Indian restaurants in the city.

The service was good, there's no lineup and the place itself is not busy. We tried eggplant, calamari and butter chicken, first one was really bad. Calamari were soft and not crunchy. Butter chicken was edible.

I ordered food today.but it was very disappointing. Dahi ke kabab was brown in colour, it had no dahi (curd) in it. Daal Bukhara was nothing but daal with loads of oil in it. It was unpalatable. Navratna Korma was below average mixed veg sabzi. Overall it was overpriced. It especially felt pricy considering food was quite disappointing.

This was my favourite Indian restaurant in Toronto for a few years. I'm not sure what they have done. The food is not good anymore and not sure what the did to their previous chef who used to make amazing food. The dishes are ridiculously priced. I've never seen a dessert priced at $14 in the fanciest restaurants. They need a reality check.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight. The service was impeccable, the freshly made naan and paratha as well as the curries we had (Jackfruit masala; prawn Kerala curry in coconut; butter chicken) and the choice of rice was delicious. First class Indian food (i've travelled in India, I love indian food, I refuse to eat Indian food where I live because it's not traditional or good enough) - this was SO worth a visit!

Worst experience in Canada so far. Extremely costly and food was no good. We ordered Panner tikka for approx $14 and there were just 4 small pieces. Also, their customer service was horrible. The waiters were in such a hurry as their were less staff, they were literally running and slipping food here and there. Also, they had absolutely no manners in serving the food on the table.

One of the hidden treasure in Indian food. Authentic, delicious and Genuine Indian taste. I tried the Non-veg platter and Lamb chops, wow it was amazing. Great customer service. Staffs were very friendly and have knowledge of all the dishes, they even recommended me the specific food. Will be always back whenever in Toronto.

I am pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was at Aanch. The flavors were amazing in all dishes and the wait staff were friendly and checked on our table frequently. It's a bit pricey but my whole table agreed it was the best Indian food we've had in Toronto. We went with a family style to try more dishes. I'd recommend the same. One rice and 2 naan would be enough carbs for a table of 4. The ambiance was fair and the music was a tiny bit loud causing us to have to repeat things a few times. Get the Dilliwala Butter Chicken and the Chatpatti Calamari.they were amazing.

Pre-pandemic, I was fortunate enough that I could commute to work by walking. My daily walks would result in passing this place and their sandwich board. Their delicious looking sandwich board. So during lockdown, when the family was trying to pick something to eat for a special occasion, I remembered this place and suggested we try it. While I don't regret it because the food is absolutely delicious, I do regret being bumped up a level so now it is hard to eat Indian style cuisine elsewhere. Overall, I would definitely recommend.
