I had a very pleasant working experience with Surya and Samata at Aastha law firm. They were helping me with purchase of real estate property and my closing was affected because of Tellers mistake. The closing was supposed to be delayed by 5 days due to that error. This was affecting my moving plans. Surya focussed on my case 100% and found a way to overcome the challenge. My moving plans were not impacted. Behind the scene, Surya communicated non stop with sellers lawyers to identify the issue and then used his network to find a solution. Thank you for all the help Surya and Samata. You guys are rockstars!

Don't know how they work. Left 3 messages for a lawyer to contact me and advise on the ongoing business deal. Never heard back from them. In past had taken their services while closing my house and that had gone well. So thought of going with them only but unfortunately they don't value small business it seems. Please don't spend money on IVRs if you can't call back clients. This profession requires to be available for a client's call anytime of the day but I didn't get any update on my requests for same even after three days. One day the person I wanted to connect with was on leave, next day he was in meeting and third time same day he was out for lunch. Even after getting assurance of call back I didn't receive any. What an unprofessional behavior.

1. When an issue comes up that is not caused by you, Lawyer steps up to protect your interests.
Cons:
1. Lawyer did not have time to answer the questions we had during closing of real estate purchase.
2. Even the staff assisting did not have enough time to answer questions. (BTW questions were minimal).
3. Dealing with front desk staff was a nightmare. Most rude fron desk staff I have ever dealt with.
4. Appears they charge higher than most in GTA. Their one closing service for a real estate purchase cost me nearly 2600 all inclusive. Same service cost me 1500 at the other lawyer, the second time.

I could have given 3 stars for the Lawyer, but my experience with staff brings this down to 1 star.

I have dealt with this firm for the past several years. Not only are they professionals but they are extremely respectful and sensitive to their clients needs. They walk through the process with the clients well before the closing dates to avoid unnecessary stress.
