Darlene and her team are so wonderful! I had adopted my loving fur baby Smokey through them and the process was so seamless. Everything went so well that we ended up adopting sweet Maggie for my grandmother as well ACR truly has the most amazing cats whom have such great care while in their hands waiting for their furever homes. I always recommend adoption and specifically this rescue as they truly do care so much for their animals. Thank you ACR for adding 2 of the best fur babies to our families

We adopted Phoenix (previously known as hope) almost a year ago. Phoenix is honestly the most perfect cat we have ever met. She is super unique with her short tail, fluffy fur, and unique colouring.
The process of adopting her did not take long at all! She lived with a foster who was such a nice person!
We will continue supporting this rescue!

We just adopted to little kitty's from abandon cat rescue and the experience was great. I give the foster parents to these cats and kittens all the respect for taking these cute little critters in and giving them the care and love they need until they can find a forever home. Thanks for the good experience Karen and can't wait to give all the love to are 2 adopted little boys Timmy and Dillon.

This rescue cares so much about senior cats especially, and will do everything they can to give abandoned cats a second chance. They are compassionate and caring volunteers that move mountains for these little felines!

Told the kitten was available last week and on Saturday. Gave our phone number to set up for a meet and greet. Tonight I find out that the foster mom had already had someone else getting the kitten and the rescue wasn't aware of that? Heartbroken

I tried to adopt an available kitten but was rejected because I have no pets. This shelter gives preferential treatment towards owners with pets and is inconsiderate towards pet less adopters. They feel we wouldn’t make good caregivers while everyone knows this isn’t true. They bent the rules and allowed someone to adopt one kitten that was supposed to be with her brother just because they had pets. I would not support and give money to any shelter which favours one type of adopter over another.it’s unfair and makes their work very questionable.

Takes them 2-3 days to respond to emails. I was inquiring about a cat, and after two emails over one week, they told me that the foster's friend was interested in the cat as well and that they are a better fit for the cat (which is a fair point). However, I definitely got the feeling that they were dragging out email responses so that said foster's friend could be first in line to adopt the cat. Didn't really appreciate the lack of transparency and nepotism. They might be a great rescue- I have no idea. But in my experience, good rescue organizations respond to emails quickly in order to expedite adoptions.

Contacted three times, told the cat was available. They just stopped responding. Absolutely crushed.

Great experience! We were looking for a sister for our kitten and ended up adopting two! Replies were always prompt and professional, and I felt Darlene truly cared about us finding the right kitten. We will be forever grateful to this rescue for making our kitty family complete

Although it took a number of days for them to respond to my plea for help in relation to a precious little abandoned kitten, they eventually did contact me. Unfortunately, the kitten escaped through an opening in my windowscreen. No idea where the poor little thing ended up despite my efforts searching. Sad story. Quicker responses would definately be something this agency should consider.

Completely unprofessional. We had to constantly follow up with the main office to see why the foster wasn't contacting us. We were being told the foster was allegedly "having troubles contacting us" even though we had no emails or calls.

They strongly stood with the story that this foster couldn't get a hold of us when there was no reason not to. After a week, we gave up.

Would not recommend.
